The instructors, staff, and faculty all are passionate about what they are doing and creating innovative ways to prepare their students. For example, they have partnered with industry partners who underwrite part of the setting up educational programs and costs in order to provide the school with great resources and in exchange the school creates programs that are immediately needed and employable in the job market. It is a win/win! This particular campus provides educational opportunities in Automotive Technology, Collision Technology, Welding, HVAC, Construction, Nursing, IT, and more. Being a technical college the per hour tuition is a fraction of other colleges and universities. To me that seems like a win for the students and a win for the community!

I would not recommend coming here for a correspondence exam or using this testing center. As a…read morestudent at an online university, I needed a testing center to take an exam. The supervisor I spoke with multiple times while trying to schedule my test was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. After finally getting the exam scheduled, I paid $30 for the appointment. When I arrived, I spent about 20 minutes going through an extremely uncomfortable check-in process. I was asked to lift my hair, show parts of my skin, pat myself down, empty my pockets, and spit out my gum before being allowed to take the exam. The man checking me in even had to "check with his supervisor" to see if I was allowed scratch paper and pencil for an ALGEBRA exam... I understand the importance of preventing cheating, but with cameras everywhere and a full staff present, the level of screening felt excessive and unnecessary. To make matters worse, the testing center does not clearly communicate all of their rules and procedures ahead of time. In the end, I wasn't even able to take my exam because they would not allow the lockdown browser required by my university. While I understand there may have been complications on my school's side, the interactions I had with the supervisor were unpleasant and unhelpful throughout the process. Overall, the experience was frustrating and a waste of time and money. I would strongly suggest students look for another testing center if possible.

It was time to get a library card that was mine! Was time to stop borrowing friend's cards. Why pay for books or buy books when your taxes, as a homeowner, offer you free book rentals! AMAZING!! I love to be read too and you can read a variety of books for free! The best bang for your buck! Really happy I discovered reading books again. Not sure why I ever slowed down. Collin County College is awesome! Simply need to go in person to apply for the card. It's so simple! It gives you access to ALL libraries in Collin county and the State of Texas. Everyone should have a library card! I wish more people would be interested in being part of a library. It's so cool to have access to knowledge. Be extraordinary and join any library across the country! The only draw back is they don't have audiobooks. Suppose students don't have time to read anything but text books! If you return the book late you will be charged late fees. Only fair. There are rules you have to follow. Others are waiting for that book: Be kind and return on time. July 2024

Most teachers are passionate about what they teach and most go beyond the call of duty. The school prides itself on a high percentage of AP students, and rightfully so! Lovejoy has something extracurricular for everyone. There is the traditional football, cheer/ drill team, volleyball, baseball, 4H etc. And then there's opportunities unlike other high schools, like Golf, Bowling, Medical Program, Lacrosse and many many more. Lovejoy supports all the activities and the school spirit can be really exciting when they combine in activities along side actual events, like Homecoming. Bullying exists. It still isn't handled to my standards, but overall the school offers a "safe environment". Like most high schools these day, Lovejoy also keeps a cop on the property at all times and the presence of a cop keeps everyone in line.

They are also constantly lying about what they are feeding the children. My Sons would always say how hungry they are to the fact That I would pack additional snacks for my twin boys. I have walked in at times where they were only feeding the Kids Crackers and Water. (They said they were following state regulations) The owners number is on the card-This does nothing because once you call her she does not do anything but says "Have you spoken with the Director" I will be certainly going to the Department of Family services so they will launch a full investigation. Once again keep your children far away. I looked up their past reviews from the DFPS they have citations for teachers being hired without a FBI or Fingerprint background check and incidents on a teacher shaking a child on camera. I now present to educators across TX on social emotional skills in children. I'm saying this for two reasons- one, because my career has mad me EXTREMELY picky about who I trust my child with. And two- because I have witnessed good and bad teachers and facilities both as an educator AND a mom. My son goes to Goddard full time in the summer. I've been incredibly impressed by the staff's ability to be both professional and personable at the same time. My son has ADHD, along with a few gross motor delays- and can be a handful. His teachers understand what is developmentally appropriate behavior, and how to support his growth moving forward. This has been rare for us and is appreciated in educators working with my son. He is constantly engaged and happy when I pick him up. The teachers are always monitoring and engaged with the children when I arrive. And their photos are a treat! I'm not sure what the enrollment is like in the school year, but for my son, his class numbers seem really low. I am thankful to have found a place I trust my son to be in. I trust that he is not only physically cared for- but EMOTIONALLY as well. Thank you for loving my baby! Our family of forever grateful to you all!

After calling over a dozen daycares in the area, only two stood out as worthy of a visit. Our visit at the first daycare was fine enough, but after we left the second daycare - The Goddard School - I immediately drove home and filled out the paperwork to get my still-in-utero son enrolled. I haven't had a single regret since my son started as a 3-month-old. He's 22 months now and can count to 10, name basic shapes and colors, and make sounds for countless animals. He cleans up like a champ and says please and thank you. He loves books and spends most of his time at home reading. I won't give Goddard ALL the credit - I do some things as his parent, of course - but it's a relief knowing that they're teaching him the same concepts and reenforcing the manners we practice at home. Like many daycares nowadays, they do send out updates on each child's day via an app, so at the end of the day I can see what my son ate, how long he napped, when his diaper was changed, the activities he participated in, and a few photos of what he did. And I love that they teach community involvement by participating in programs such as Fill The Bus and the ACO Food Drive. They also have monthly Parents' Night Out and frequent cookouts and festivals. The school is always clean and one of the two owners are on-site the entire time the school is open.
