Tried to call to verify around a week before the requested date, only to be asked for info that I had already supplied. There is no way to reach anyone via phone, and they are slow to text back via the advised way to "quickly" reach someone. I was going to transfer from another doctor, but due to this experience, I am exploring my options with other Urologists in the local area. It must be nice to have a patient base that is so large, that you become allergic to money. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor and office that cares. On to the next . . .

I am very upset with the care from Dr. Perry and his office. I have attempted to make an…read moreappointment with him for multiple months, but I am unable to get in touch with anyone from his office. When leaving a voicemail, their business hours are listed, but I have never had anyone answer the phone during this time. At my last appointment with Dr. Perry, I was only seen for 5-10 minutes after driving for 2.5 hours to make it to the appointment. He left the room while I was still asking questions, and he walked to another room to see a patient next door. I asked the front desk if I could still speak with him in person, and they said he would call me after his appointments for the day. I never received a call, and I have been trying to make a follow up appointment for months to discuss my medical needs and concerns.

I was able to make an appointment in just a few days due to an urgent referral from my PCP. The…read morestaff was uplifting, chatty, and polite. The way staff should be. Dr. Cefalu came in with a huge smile. Introduction to the patient right away (me). Gave his evaluation and sat until everything was addressed. 4 stars- why? I did do the pre-paperwork. Arrived at 3:06 when I was to check-in at 3:20. A total wait of close to 30 minutes for a 2 minute interaction. I am not complaining..... More or less plan time management. Busy man! Pictures I do not own, but I wanted to fill this review and page with color and info.

My review is primarily about Dr. Christopher Cefalu & the McKinney location. Have had another…read moreexperience at this practice (different office) that WAS positive, this one not at all. Dr. Cefalu was condescending, arrogant, telling me "you know, I have no idea what you're talking about" with respect to a specific medication that was making my on-going condition worse. When I tried to explain (because he stated he didn't know), he immediately cut me off.... guess he didn't REALLY want to know after all! Further, when I asked him to review my prior history with the practice, he stated he couldn't (or didn't want to) review it. In other words, just move along. In addition to this outrageous interaction, I was also asked to provide a urine specimen. The restroom is directly across from where their medical staff sit. Not only was the floor covered in urine (and I'm not talking just a dribble), there was an open 'chamber pot' of some kind. No, this was not the toilet, this was some kind of metal communal collection bucket. Sitting on the floor in front of the toilet, containing perhaps a half gallon full of someone else's urine. WHAT?? I have never been in a dirtier bathroom, especially one inside a medical practice where the staff was working in full view of the toilet. Perhaps someone could have, definitely SHOULD HAVE noticed this?? Had to wash off my shoes when I got home. Do I need more reasons to look for another practice?

I was in and out in a little over 30 minutes. Like most of the men probably reading the reviews, i was absolutely terrified going into the procedure. Afterwards, you'll be questioning why you were nervous or had anxiety. The initial numbing is not painful, all you feel is a little thump and then virtually nothing after. From the numbing to end of procedure, i would say maybe 10 minutes total. I 100% would go back to Dr. Mootha and his team if needed.

We specifically told to arrive early which we did out of respect of their request. The office was locked no one was there. We even knocked on the door, called and no response. We went down the hall and sat along with a female patient who arrived to her appointment at 9:00am also, she sat on the floor across from the door in the hallway. After 15-20 minutes, we decided to leave. Very rude! We got up early, drove a long distance, spent gas money, tolls and valet to park. Arrived15 minutes early to get paperwork done per their request. We had 2 calls from this office the day before to remind us of the appointment and both times were told to arrive early to fill out paperwork. Why would office personnel tell people to arrive early if the office doesn't open till 9:00. DO NOT GO HERE!
