We hired them last spring to re-roof our home, replace some rotted eaves and fascia and replace our old solar system (it was inefficient and malfunctioned quite a bit). We are very happy with what we got for the price we paid, it was a good value. It looks so much better than it did before and is consistently producing more energy. I feel like they helped us make the right decisions through the whole process, especially for system size to be able to keep our NEM1 status. The new roof looks great and works really well. I waited almost a year to write this review to make sure there wasn't any water intrusion during the winter storms - not a drop anywhere. They were in the mid-high range in pricing on the bids we got, but I'm happy we spent a little more went with them. Can a roof be sexy? Ours sure is. Larry was generous with info and worked with me on a couple of additional things I wanted to get done. I knew about Logan Roofing because our general contractor who built our garage used them for that project. They did a wonderful job then so we felt good being repeat customers with them for the house re-roof. Getting a roof replaced on your home while living in it makes you and the contractors almost like roommates for a week or so. It's a very invasive project and Larry, Adam, and the crew were very kind and considerate of us throughout the project. They also advised us on a few things about our house while they had the roof off. Valuable things like a recommendation to add a couple of vents to help cool the attic in the summer. They also installed a roof vent for our bathroom fan by my request and the price for that was very reasonable and fair. Although they found very little dry rot, they didn't charge much to fix it and were very honest and candid with me about the condition of our roof in general. I think we came out of this project with a lot better understanding of our house in general. I saw some other reviews mention about not responding to texts, etc. People need to understand that this is a small, local company that gets most of their business by word-of-mouth. I don't think they even have a website. Just good reputable hard-working people and they did a wonderful job on our roof. We were glad to have worked with them.

When the inspector came out, the work did not pass because of some items he missed. When the work finally passed inspection, i handed him my check and he never said a word, got in his truck and drove off. Overall, the work appears to be good but the customer service was poor and the insistence of payment prior to final inspection left a bad taste and made me suspect that if I did pay him, i would have never seen him again. I cant recommend this contractor. If you hire him make sure the contract clearly spells out the scope of work, including all items required by Code, and under what conditions progress and final payments are made.

The Owner/Contractor David Saruhanov came out to meet me and discuss the project. He offered much more than the other two bids I got and he was very specific of the job they would do. What was most important to me was the warrantees, which he offered 25 year warranty for workmanship, and 50 warranty from GAF for any materials that should not hold up. The other two proposals only offered either a 7 year or 10 year warranty. I had a very good feeling when discussing the project with David that he would deliver what he said. And that is exactly what happened. I would highly recommend anyone needing roof repairs, new roofs, or reroofs, to check out The American Cool Construction Company. Their bid was barely more than the other two bids and the warranties much longer.
