I had an excellent experience at Boswell's which is where I got everything fixed for a fraction of the price. Bill and Tom, the latter of whom is the owner we're super friendly and nice. Tom's wife answers the phone and is polite and courteous. I wanted the job done quickly and efficiently so that I could get my car back on the road otherwise I wouldn't be able to move forward with the rest of my work in business meetings they were very understanding of that and made sure that they did everything to accomplish it and exceeded my expectations I have absolutely nothing horrible to say about them because they're such wonderful folks and apparently they've been in business for a very long time and they know what they do and they're good at it. They were nice enough to return the wrong ones, and pick up the replacement brakes from the auto parts store. Keon and his co worker Smitty were very friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about the work being performed. I will definitely be calling them again we I need work done on my car.

The owner Keon Wilson says he will reimburse me my 4,767.88 for my engine however I have not received it or any information on when or how I will be reimbursed. Just excuses! I asked why the business insurance is not paying for it? He said "because the vehicle was not in the shop at the time of the incident, the mechanic a independent contractor who was driving the vehicle after hours that's where the problem comes up". So now I'm out of a vehicle , 4760 for the engine not to mention the 1,000 I spent on tires new tires. The mechanic/driver provided our insurance to the state trooper (this is now a at fault accident on my insurance). I am mad as hell!! This is going to be a long drawn out process in court now. The tint on my window needed to be removed to pass inspection and they left water marks all over the doors. I have always seen mechanics put a layer of paper on the floor for their shoes and I would have never expected the mess I found in my car from window tint pieces left behind. I am talking big, hard to miss, pieces. This place used to have higher standards but I guess good things never last. Very disappointed and will look for a new place to bring my vehicles.

Again, I dropped my vehicle off by 8:00AM, at 5:00PM I called to find the status of my vehicle, they did not come back on the phone. I drove to the location, and my vehicle had never been moved from the location where I parked it at 8AM. When I walked inside the attendant told me he thought I hung up the phone after being plashed on hold. He then told me that the mechanic did not get a chance to look at my vehicle, they only had 1 mechanic today. After making an appointment on Monday, and they never looked at it. I was so frustrated!! I told the attendant that having only one mechanic was not my fault as I had made the appointment on Monday. He said he could get my key. I told him so much for keeping my business local, he said Thank You and have a good day. I will have to find another repair location!

Later that same day, I called Meineke and was informed by what I assumed to be the manager that nothing was wrong with my brakes and that I could wait until two oil changes to have my brakes changed. I picked up my truck on Saturday, February 7th. The manager gave me my truck's fob and told me there was no charge. Now I took this very seriously, but because I've been bringing all my vehicles to the Meineke and was told nothing was wrong, the manager cut me a break. But after driving the truck for a few days, the noise in the truck got worse. I return to Meineke on Wednesday, February 11th. I ask the mechanic to speak to the manager. The mechanic informed me that Saturday was his last day. I then explained that I have a lifetime warranty on my brakes and that they are making noise. He replied that it didn't concern him, but the mechanic refused to look at my truck. I left Meineke and took my truck to Martin's Servcie Station where i spent $944.78. On brakes, rotors, RF brake hose, and wear sensor. I called Meineke to file a complaint by phone on Wednesday, February 11th. I was told that I would receive a follow-up call in 48 hours, working days. No one responded to my complaint. I have attached pictures of the brake condition before the repairs were performed. I had to pay for brakes, rotors, and other items that were under warranty and were installed by Meineke. And the owner of Meineke brush it off as if it is not a big deal. Poor service....

Prior to the my recent experience, I had a positive interaction with staff; and I felt I could trust the staff at this location. Being a single, senior with disabilities, and on a limited income (SSD), trusting a mechanic and the staff is invaluable. However, my recent interactions with the same staff and location have left me broke and devastated. I realize mistakes happen, and everyone is learning on the job. However, when I feel I am being taken advantage of based on issues based on my gender and age, this is unacceptable and I want others to be aware of people who will smile in your face while stabbing you in the back. Every business should be proud of their staff and the work that they do and stand by this; shame on those that take advantage of others. There should be more honor in business so we can all benefit together.
