DONT BUY ANYTHING HERE. We had a very disappointing…read moreexperience. My mom purchased a dining room set for about $1,600, and unfortunately the customer service we received was very poor. As soon as we opened the box, we noticed that the table had a damaged/peeled area. I immediately contacted the seller and sent photos showing the damage, so they were notified right away. On top of that, the four chairs that were delivered were the wrong colors. The store told us that they would not bring the correct chairs until we personally returned the four incorrect chairs to the store, even though the mistake was not ours. The store is about 30 minutes from our home, and we had already paid for home delivery. What was especially frustrating was being told that because we signed the delivery paperwork, they could not do anything. They explained that the signature was not simply confirming that we received the furniture, but also that everything was received in good condition. This was not clearly explained to us when we signed. We also were told that we cannot receive a refund and that our only option is an exchange. We are being asked to make another trip to the store to return chairs that were sent to us incorrectly in the first place. For a $1,600 purchase, plus a separate delivery fee, we expected much better customer service and for the company to take responsibility for damaged merchandise and an incorrect order. Instead, we felt like we were being held responsible for mistakes that were not ours. The furniture itself may be nice, but based on our experience, the customer service and the way this situation was handled were very disappointing. I would expect much more from a company after spending this much money.

The store is very cute - a small size, but with a lot of options for finishing your house. I initially went in because I am refinishing some funiture and in the market for unique knobs and pulls for the drawers - through the window of this store I noticed they had TONS of options ... not only are there perhaps 6 pillars full of knobs and pulls and handles, there are various boards with different selections located all around the store. Even though I haven't even begun thinking about refinishing cabinets and countertops in my newly-purchased house yet, I couldn't help but browse their selection. House Splendid has a great collection of quality countertops and cabinetry, and I picked up several pamphlets. To top it all off, the owner, Lia, is very sweet and welcoming - she makes sure to say hi and is available for any questions, but she also lets you browse in peace. I will definitely return to this store for my home finishing needs.

She periodically checked on us which was great because after some shopping my boyfriend and I realized he liked a hard, uncomfortable sofa lol and I liked a more comfortable, relaxing sofa. We asked if there was something in the middle and she showed us some great options. It was crowded that day with orders at the front desk. Behind the greenhouse, we had a delightful time listening to our instructors who clearly have worked side by side at the farm. Educational facts about herbs with a sprinkling of humor began the event. It is so wonderful to attend a class where they share their knowledge about the herbs and their uses. They give you salient advice that helps you decide on which herbs fit the taste profile you enjoy so you build your herb pot on what fits you. Then to top it all off they gave us a handout that covered trimming, drying and pairing herbs as well as a few recipes! A wonderful experience! Thank you for making my Mother's day extra special!
