The store had a cozy, welcoming vibe, with old western style decor. There is a wide variety of gifts, from jewelry made here in Colorado to a zero waste, eco-friendly product section where you bring in your own container for laundry detergent or dishwashing soap... You can tell that the products in the store were carefully selected. It's definitely one of the most unique gift shops I have been in. Masonville Mercantile opened in 1896. Currently, 2 families own and operate the gift shop. Overall, Masonville Mercantile is a quirky shop worth the stop. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful gift or unique keepsake.

Many of the vendors have business cards out, so that you can contact them for customized artwork, or to see their other offerings. Definitely worth skipping over a block from College and checking this strip of shops out. The owner of Walnut Creek told me that these are all mostly items from local artists, which is awesome to support and guarantees unique gifts. Definitely look at her little pet finches too. They're beautiful and rather entertaining!

Inside, you'll find many locally owned business, vendors, and artists who rent out their booth to sell their items. I love the crafts and unique pieces that each vendor shares with you when you walk through each booth/section. The best part? You know your item is supporting a small business owner. I absolutely love the antique store and Linda's booth is the best, and Linda is the best! I just want to explain a situation so this does not happen to someone else. We bought a solid wood sideboard from Linda's booth and are very satisfied with the purchase. We had to move the side board out of the store ourselves. In the process of trying to navigate out of the store with a large heavy sideboard, I accidentally knocked over a glass window that just needed the slightest nudge. Thankfully, it was in Linda's booth and we agreed to split the damages at cost. Thankfully, the window wasn't an item that was highly expensive. It sucks that the owner of front range antiques does not have merchandise/retail insurance. When I sell my pottery in boutiques on consignment I always make sure they have merchandise/retail insurance for this exact reason - breakable things can break. I would never want to put someone in that situation of an accident and expect someone to pay especially if the customer has to move furniture themselves out of the store. No hard feelings, just a situation I wouldn't want anyone else to be in.

Very displeased with my experience here. Initially I went to this antique mall just to look around,…read morelike a normal person would, because I was out of state and wanted to see what the stores here in Colorado had to offer. Unfortunately the grandma who runs this establishment told me that they were closing. I'm aware that they close at 6pm, but I was there well before closing, and it wasn't like I was going to spend an hour there looking at stuff, I only wanted to do a quick look at what they had. So, while I was inside they kept the lights off, I'm not sure if that was supposed to make me hurry up or if they were just doing out of spite but that's a very disrespectful thing to do to customers; however, despite only wanting to look around I found something that caught my eye and I wanted to buy it, and to my surprise I was told "no" because they were closed for the night, mind you it wasn't even 6:00 yet when I went to go buy something. I'm not exactly sure what possessed them to be so rude, but how're you going to treat customers this way?? I get that I was there before closing, and sometimes that can be a little frustrating, but that gave them absolutely zero reason to be rude. It leaves a horrible impression on your customers. I hope you guys have the day that you deserve.
