They are a great store but when I mentioned my leftovers got stolen from outside (they require you to leave food outside on their cart), the guy's response in his ultra deep voice was "NICE". Felt kind of weird. Like I should have been happy my food was stolen? Toxic positivity? Just a weird interaction. read more

This is a cute store with a great selection of arts and crafts. I've shopped here several times over the last five years and I'd say every other time I've been made to feel like I'm about to steal something. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. I am dark skinned. If that was a factor. I want to throw that in. I was in the store rounding up items for my daughters 15th birthday when a middle aged store employee, shoulder length dark brown hair, managerial air, stepped in my path and asked if she can hold the items I had picked out and place them at the register. Her tone was phony nice with and felt condescending. I didn't let her take my items to the register while I finished shopping. I needed to reference what I had already picked so I'd know what else I needed. I paid cash at the register. The gal at the register was nice. This is the last time I'll set foot in that store. I'm a veteran, I've worked customer service, service industry, and I am currently a firefighter. I know the tricks of the trade and the method you used on me today. I deserve to be treated better. Stop stereotyping and profiling. Especially in this day in age. We will call you to the carpet. read more

I shop here all the time and every employee are so nice and helpful. However, during my last visit they went above and beyond to help me with my small simple task. I was helped by Rev (gosh, I hope I remembered correctly and hope I'm spelling their name right) and another employee but didn't catch their name. I needed help finding a marker that would work on a vinyl record and they told me to bring one it so I can try out their sample markers and they took their time to helped me find the perfect one! I am in agreement with a lot of the reviews. This store IS smaller than their other location and also this spot seems far better organized and laid out. They have quite the clearance section at this spot which I do not remember from the Alberta one. I nabbed a really cute journal for a super great price. This is where you go when you want something well made to aide you in making something of quality. If you need glitter for 30 kids to go crazy then grab your coupon at the big box spot and go there. I have an addiction to adult coloring but I am fancy (This is a total lie...I am a swamp creature seriously) and went to art school so I need my fancy JellyRoll pens which have unique colors and are glitter, pearl...matte... And then I discover JellyRoll had the nerve to release a new moonlight series and not tell me so, of course, I needed to grab a pile of those. I resisted the ridiculously cute Hello Kitty purse at the front of the store...but did I?? Maybe I will go back.... read more

Limited access right now due to COVID. It seems that they only allow ten customers in the store at any time. The staff are all super friendly and helpful, and the store itself is well-organized and stocked. I came for some blank postcards and cardstock, but was almost tempted by dozens of other things. I've been to Collage many times up on Alberta when I used to live up in the area, so when they opened the second location closer to where I currently live, I figured cool an art supply store I can wander. The Division location is much smaller than its Alberta counterpart, so it has less options as well. They both have options for crafting for all ages as I was shopping for a friend's daughter (six years old) and the mother and daughter both enjoy crafting type gifts. There were science related kits and plenty of painting and craft kits as well. They also had a section right up front with all types and sizes of letters. I thought that would make a great way for my friend to get creative with her daughter's name. The shop fits in with all the renovations that have taken place down on Division during the past year or so. If you haven't been here in a while, you might not recognize all the great things that have happened on this street. Enjoy. read more

Oh, Collage. It is dangerous working just a couple doors down from you. Thanks to Collage I have finally gotten back into crafting. I love their paper stock selection and all their supplies. The girls who work there are friendly, funny, and helpful. This store is dog friendly too! I don't have a dog, but if I did I would be like hey dog, lets go to collage! They also offer a punch card for every $20 you spend, which I'm starting to realize is more than easy to do every time I come in! read more

I had to stop by the Division store after seeing the one on Alberta. While I will agree with others that it is smaller than their Alberta location, I honestly preferred this location's setup better. The caveat here is that you must do the Alberta location first to get a true vibe for Collage, and then Division is better because you know what to expect and everything is laid out for you in a no - nonsense manner. It is true that if you go to one location the stock will be different between locations. If you are desperately looking for something, before giving up and going on Amazon, call each location. That said, sometimes each store has one-offs - for instance I was able to try a marker only sold in pack as a single at Alberta, only to come to Division and find out that it was not the norm to sell them separately. Other perk - each location has different craft nights - wish I was local! read more

I'm not the craftiest person in the world, but sometimes my job requires I pretend. That's when I go to Collage! They are a well-stocked store with helpful employees who don't seem to mind my constant barrage of questions, which basically boils down to "wut?" This isn't some sort of big box crafting monstrosity superstore, so you aren't going to find all that gaudy crap your weird aunt likes, and you aren't going to get weekly mailings promising 50% off glitter or lord knows what else. What you will get is a well-curated collection that should fit most of your needs, where your spending dollars are staying in the local economy. And stamps. They have lots and lots of stamps. I really love these Collage stores! This one on Division is newest, and has a great vibe to it. I would much prefer to shop at these stores than Michaels or Joann (OVER YOU TWO, I AM). They have a varied selection, but that can mean they don't have many specific items. If I'm looking for something in particular I'll call first, and sometimes one store will have it while another does not. So if you're shopping a select list, call first! They are not always a one-stop craft shop. If you're a crafter or collector, they are always great browsing stores. I usually have to be very objective before I check out because my first reaction is to buy everything in sight. read more

Most of the staff here are really nice and helpful. However, there is one guy, he works a lot at the Division location, who should be fired immediately or I predict a lawsuit in Collage's very near future. I wont go into all the details but basically as soon as I walked in to do some shopping he asked me to leave the store and gave me no explanation. He either got me confused with someone else or he's racist or homophobic...whatever his issue was he had NO right to treat me like that and I am so mad that I didn't stand up for myself at the time. He's lucky I didn't punch him in the face. Instead I just walked out confused, embarrassed and in tears. Now that I've had time to calm down and process what happened , I plan to talk to the owner of Collage for sure. This has really affected me because collage with my favorite store and I was a really good customer prior to this incident... I seriously have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars at that store but until I receive an apology I will never step foot in there again and no one else should either! read more

I was in Collage yesterday with my sister. We were planning gift bags for my bridal shower. There was a younger man with sandy blonde hair and glasses (I unfortunately did not get his name) who answered any questions we had and escorted us to items we needed in the store. We had lots of little odds and ends for our gift bags, he rung them up pleasantly and efficiently. It turned out we went over budget and realized at the register. He wasn't annoyed or put out at all, he told us he would put the items on hold for us and we could come and pick the rest of it up the next day. Over all, the whole store is adorable, fun, and has anything you would need under the sun to craft. Great experience, and I will gladly be going back. read more

This review is a couple of months late but I certainly needs to be submitted as it was an extraordinary experience!. I was invited to a birthday for a friend. I stopped into Collage on Division and picked out a bunch of items that I thought my friend would love,the sales person there was extremely helpful show me all different ideas, walked me all around the store putting up with my indecision. While we were walking around my heels which I just purchased a couple of hours before we're falling off and I only had about half an hour to get to the birthday dinner and it was a coursed sit down meal I jokingly just mentioned it to her and she proceeded to say hold on I'll be right back she comes back and then directed me to a corner of the store. She was holding tape and felt and scissors. She said " we can make a little pillow that could be tape inside the back of your shoe and it would keep the shoes in place at least for tonight" keep in mind this was a busy time at the store on a weekend! She MacGyvered these little things took each shoe and put them in each shoe, and it worked!!! Now, I could go on and on about how collage has amazing products a huge variety there's always something fresh and new and their contests are fun and engaging, but for this review I just want to say that the staff at collage is like nothing I've ever seen this is a fantastic store in and a fantastic business. If I could give more than 5 stars I would have! Btw they have 3 stores so you have no excuse to at least go look around. read more

we just had the most horrible experience. My granddaughter entered the coloring contest announcing "$100" gift cert!!!! She worked hard on her drawing and i told her not to expect to win. Then i got a phone call " hi this is collage... F has won the drawing" omg i told him how incredibly excited she would be.... and we would be up in about 5 days to pick it up. Five days later we walk in - i say - F here won the drawing... ""huh""... "huh".... phone calls,... "huh".... 15 min later the girl comes and says "Found it.. F won 20% off her next purchase" ... NO... she WON THE DRAWING.... after back and forth and tears, i say fine... I will take the 20% off and buy a gift card so she can shop.... "have to call the owner"... great i say... Owner on the line.."You have to explain to F that she won..." No I say - I just want to get her a card so she can shop like she was looking forward to - how she told all her school friends about!! OWNER says "I can't do that"... guess she was talking about the integrity of her drawing but I don't know because I couldn't finish listening... If the only other art supply store was 1000 miles away I would go there before going back to Collage. There is a terrific store at the corner of Foster and 52nd... please check it out - they have amazing stuff and much more affordable, and I think they would care about a child's broken heart!!!!! read more
