South Orange Blossom Trail / OBT

I came here via one of my class pass free trial classes and I was not disappointed! I had…read morepreviously done boxing but this one was beyond the ones I did back in Memphis. When I walked in I was greeted very well by staff. They were friendly and the guy showed me how to roll my bands around. It had been a while so he re-taught me. I then proceeded to the floor which was clean and tidy. There are locker areas out in the open in case you want to place your belongings in there and benches to sit on while you got ready. In the back, there is a weight training area and near the front is a ring type private boxing area which I thought would be awesome to try sometime. The one thing I didn't like was that the trainer started the class late and was busy with a newbie. Now, don't get me wrong I loved this trainer so much! (I forgot his name), but, when a class is supposed to start at a certain time it's good to be punctual. Thankfully I was able to stay the whole time but if I had prior obligations I would have missed 7 minutes of the class or so. The trainer came around during our workout and encouraged us to go harder while he held the bag. Then at the end we did a group workout against the wall and I liked that. It kicked my butt! Price wise not sure it's in my budget to join , but! I around recommended trying it at least once! I burned over 700 calories just within that 50 minutes!

I've been kickboxing for years and after moving to Florida I needed to find a new gym. I did some…read moreresearch on surrounding options and eventually decided to try TITLE. I signed up online for a my free class and the rep, Maddie, reached out to me quickly to get me scheduled. She was super friendly and gave me a tour of the facility, which is clean and well stocked with bags as well as other equipment available for members (treadmill, weights, etc.). She also explained that they do both kickboxing and boxing, which was a great mix for me. I tried the kickboxing class on my first day and initially I thought 45 minutes wouldn't be long enough (I'm used to 1 hour)--boy was I wrong! The workout was great! Starts with a warmup, then bag rounds, then core work at the end. The trainers are friendly and knowledgeable, and encourage you to push harder through those tough moments of the workout. It's also nice to have the option to use the workout equipment before or after a class, or anytime throughout open hours if you are just looking to do your own thing. The app makes it easy to book and cancel classes. (There's also a separate app for the online classes, which I haven't tried yet but plan to when I get my garage cleared out.) Pricing is a little steeper than what I'm used to, but worth every penny if you are willing to make the commitment. I chose the unlimited plan, but you can also shop in class packages. My only critique is that the audio system could be better--it can be hard to understand the trainers over the mic, especially with the music playing too. I would definitely recommend TITLE to anyone looking for something more engaging than a traditional gym. Love it and can't wait to get to know the community better!

I want to leave a balanced review with some good and some caution…read more So much good!: the workouts are comprehensive, you can train cardio and strength, you work many muscle groups with compound motions that pack a lot into a short time. The coaches are skilled and genuinely friendly and engaging, and you will push your limits, learning some real boxing along the way. The caution: Be wise. Stretch a full 15 minutes before class starts. Once class starts, there can be peer pressure to do everything coaches say, and to not feel like the weak link in games. Don't let that get you hurt! Be you. Take a break if you need one. Positive highlights: Coaches Seth, Arjay, and Bobby I go to the most because their sessions are really fun and also challenging, and you'll both get a great workout and also come out of it healthy and not overcooked.

Definitely recommend trying out the free class if nothing else. We did ten rounds and ended with fun group challenges. Everyone in class was very friendly and welcoming as well. Kaitlyn also did a great job of reaching out and getting me signed up for a class. I live pretty far from the location but definitely would consider doing drop in classes if available :)
