Not a bad place to stop in at if you're spending time downtown. It was also cheaper than another…read morepizza place that was nearby, so we had to give it a try! Especially with their website advertising "NY style pizza" which is always my favorite to find. We got the Margherita pizza, which was made well, tasty, and had thin crust, though definitely not considered "Italian," as the pizza had no sauce. It was practically a white pizza with toppings, not an authentic Margherita. With a side of some marinara though, it definitely added some of that missing flavor! Service was also quick, despite it being a busy night, and there was a large selection of drinks. The atmosphere was full of energy and loud music too, which wasn't a problem. I'd definitely go back to try other pizzas!

Friday night here isn't optional, it's on the Reminders app right next to Henry's football practice…read moreschedule, and we check it off with the same relief every week. Henry gets the mini corn dogs, has for years, though we've now heard whispers that once they're out, they're gone for the rest of time, no substitutions, which has turned his order into something closer to a small bet. I get the same thing every time: the 10 inch personal pizza, pepperoni and onions, and two PBR liters. I've never once considered another combination. This is not indecision. This is a system that works, refined over years of Fridays, and I see no reason to disturb something that's already won. -- UPDATE: Wild Ace responded directly to address Henry's corn dog anxiety, confirming the mini corn dogs are staying and new kids' meal options are coming soon. Henry has not yet been informed of this development, mostly because I want to see how many more Fridays I can get out of him worrying about it.

She was friendly and helpful with my food sensitivities. There is a little bit of a diner feel, with booths surrounding the walls. We prefer a booth, so this was perfect for us. We started with chips & queso. This was good! The cheese was creamy and flavorful, and the chips were fresh & crispy. Then, we shared the Beets & Blueberry Salad and the Tico Taco plate. We enjoyed the food, and would definitely return. I only wish they had a GF version of that Basque Cheesecake. Lawd!! Please replace your flour with cornstarch or GF flour! Thanks!

Asian/American fusion sports bar? Color me intrigued…read more We stopped in for lunch, expecting the previous restaurant but willing to give it a go. Warm and comfortable, with cozy padded bar seating, tables, as well as couch seating, whatever you're feeling like you'll find a comfortable spot. We couldn't help but check out a mix from the menu, so Malaysian roti and chili dogs it is! The roti was amazing, flaky yet moist and chewy, exactly what I had expected. The chili dog was also addictive...steamed bun with all meat chili, mustard and chopped onions. Perfection. They appeared to be short staffed, but not too many customers so they were friendly and covering everything just fine. Still intrigued, especially to dig into more of the Asian flavors offered. Open just a short time, they're probably still getting their feet under them, but so far so good. If you're familiar with the space, apparently they're using the smaller side room as a space you can reserve for a group, like your fantasy football league, to gather and watch a game.

The chicken bao buns were the perfect start -- soft, fluffy buns filled with juicy chicken and just the right pop of flavor. The pork belly nachos were the show‑stopper. Loaded, crispy, and rich without being heavy, the pork belly was melt‑in‑your‑mouth good and paired perfectly with all the toppings. Let me say-- the crispy wonton chips took the cake. They were the kind of bite that makes you immediately say, "Okay, we're ordering these again." The Brussels sprouts surprised me in the best way. Crispy, caramelized, and packed with flavor -- definitely not your average side dish. They had that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet that makes them ridiculously addictive. Oh the Hii Watt Clarity to wash it all down-- Heaven Hill, rum, Rooibos tea, citrus, and Demerara. Just money! Great vibe with amazing djs, great service, and food that's perfect for sharing and snacking while you hang out.

I wasn't sure what to expect because I had visited the previous two restaurants before it was South Main Social and I was pleasantly surprised!! When you come in there is a "listening room@ with wall to wall vinyl records! I've never seen a set up like this! There are couches and a library of vinyl albums to choose from. There is also a live DJ present...not sure if he plays the albums you select or what but it's a cool concept AND a large variety of music being played. There are walls of albums throughout the restaurant. The menu has small plates, entrees and desserts. I ordered a veggie stir fry with rice noodles and added chicken Katsu as my protein. We also ordered Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer which were delicious! Hubby ordered Chicken Katsu as his main entree and he enjoyed it. This is a cool listening bar with great cocktails and good food. They also have a lovely spot for outdoor seating but it was way too hot outside for me!
