I was very fortunate to have a couple of nights just before they officially opened for the Spring antique fair so had it all to myself. Easy 10min walk to Round Top centre (along a main road which I wouldn't like to do at night). Owners were very responsive and courteous. Only opens for specific events such as the antique fairs in Spring and Autumn. Adult only park, nobody under 18.

The laundromat in town is terrible, many are out of service, many dryers…read moredon't dry clothes and other burn and permanently damage laundry, which the laundromat did nothing about. There are no amenities and nothing in the park. Not much for shade at all. Electric is 150$ give or take in the winter. So most likely much higher in the summer. Owner is kind, responsive. Park isn't worth staying in unless you have to.

There were some things that needed to be fixed but it looked like they were in progress and after meeting one of the maintenance guys i'm sure he's on it. The only reason we're giving this a 4-star and not a 5 is because of a noise issue. Pretty much everything was fine but right after we checked in and got setup, construction workers pulled into the next space with their trailer and a couple work trucks. One was a typical work truck and the other was a larger truck with what looked like a crane/bucket on top. The guys themselves were not a problem but they'd leave very early in the morning and it was annoying to get woken up to the sound of diesel trucks firing up at 6am and idling for 15-20 minutes 20 feet from my bed. I guess contractors/construction workers staying there is a pretty regular thing. There is "overflow" parking over near the office and I think it would be nice if Hope Hill required work trucks to park over there out of courtesy for the other guests. I work hard and get up early every day. The last thing i want to do on my vacation is get woken up even earlier by loud trucks. Overall it was a good experience. If we ever find ourselves in that neck of the woods I'd stay here again. Maybe they'll have designated contractor/work truck parking by then

We streamed Netflix on our Roku, did a zoom call on my laptop, scrolled through Instagram on my best. Seriously, it never skipped a beat. The grounds are so peaceful and beautiful. Only two washers and driers on site but that hasn't seemed to be an issue so far - but they do take quarters so make sure you have a roll for the $2/per cycles.
