Thank you Dr. Aubrey and team for healing me from a car accident! I got rear ended pretty hard on…read morethe freeway and was out of commission for a few days because I had whiplash and it was painful to keep my neck up. That's when I went to Dr. Aubrey for a consultation/initial assessment/started a treatment plan. I was skeptical of chiropractors at first, but getting adjustments have been helpful in providing instant relief. Right after my accident, I was not able to move my neck enough to even drive safely (literally could not even look up at the sky). I was bedridden for a few days so my neck got super stiff. After the first session's adjustments, I got way more range of motion in my neck. Of course it isn't a magical cure, but Dr. Aubrey was able to get me better mobility and pain relief. When assessing me, Dr. Aubrey noticed things about my movement that I didn't even notice myself. The whole time I thought it was just my neck, but he noticed that my back was pretty stiff and my leg had some swelling from slamming on the brakes. So we treated all of those areas. I've finished my treatment plan and now I can say I am back to where I was before the accident. The office is convenient to get to, with a parking lot for patients. It's spacious, clean, and well maintained. The team is super friendly and appointment scheduling is so easy. If I ever had some sort of chronic pain in the future, I will call Dr. Aubrey's office right away. He is professional, compassionate, and friendly-would definitely recommend him to my friends in need.

Dr. Harrison does amazing work. He is detailed, thoughtful and beyond knowledgeable about your body. He gets to the root of the problem so you and your family can begin to feel better quickly and with lasting results if you follow his recommendations. In addition, the office at the Balanced Atlas is beautiful, relaxing, and very clean. When I first met Dr. Harrison his practice in SF was relatively new and he had a booth at the fillmore jazz festival. I was skeptical by all the ailments he advertises that NUCCA can help. However, when I spoke to him, I quickly realized how intelligent he was and that his methodology was very logical. I am a speech pathologist and wanted to learn more for my patients so I invited him to do an in-service at our hospital and all the staff were blown away by his results, the research behind NUCCA and his level of analysis of each patient. I still did not fully understand how NUCCA worked until my 93 year old father in law was having spinal issues affecting his bowel and bladder and doctors wanted to operate. I immediately thought of Dr. Harrison and he was able to not only avoid the need for surgery but his posture and balance greatly improved along with his quality of life. Incontinence issues in the elderly can have so many terrible consequences and we are so relieved to have saved my father in law from those issues. That was about 2 years ago and he now only goes every 2 or 3 months as needed for a quick adjustment to help keep him aligned. Whenever I see elderly people with poor posture and/or seem to be in pain I wish I could tell them about Dr. Harrison. Unfortunately, NUCCA sounds too good to be true when you first hear about it. I can't believe every chiropractor is not mandated to learn this process. In addition to my father in law I finally decided to go to Dr. Harrison myself last year after doing traditional chiropractor and physical therapy multiple times in the past years for 2 back injuries which also affected my hip rotation. I felt although the other practitioners were some of the best in their field, I wasn't fully healing the underlying problem. Because Dr. Harrison was not covered by my insurance I did not go when I should have and deeply regret I lived with unnecessary pain for so long. Since I began NUCCA last year I feel amazing. I very rarely have pain in my back or hips unless I do something to re-injure myself. I also started pilates to strengthen my core which helps keep everything in place an prevents re-injury when your abs are strong. My husband was so surprised by my father in law's results and my own that he decided to visit Dr. Harrison too for mild scoliosis, plantar fasciitis and some other pains for tight muscles due to poor alignment. He unfortunately did not go regularly in the beginning due to his hectic schedule and so it took longer for him to see results. The best part about Dr. Harrison is that he doesn't over recommend frequency of visits and will tell you as soon as possible when visits can become less frequent and your spine can hold the alignment for longer and longer periods. I firmly believe in healthcare that gets to the root of the problem as quickly and efficiently as possible. In the long run investing in your spinal health now can also save you much pain, complications, time and money trying to find other fixes. Thank you Dr. Harrison for helping our family and friends. We are forever grateful!!!
