I am staying at the Holiday Inn across the street, so this is a great location for tourists to stock up on some stuff for their room. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the check out lines are very fast. The prices are not great, but better than the convenience stores. I didn't use a cart, but not sure how you are supposed to get them up and down the floors if you do get one, maybe they have an elevator, but I didn't look for one. On Mardi Gras they did run out of a lot of soda, most the shelves were empty and had no large bottles of sprite, but Mardi Gras was super busy so I understand. The liquor store is right at the exit. The liquor is expensive. The clerk said it's because of the tax and that as a tourist I can get my tax back at the airport, she told me to keep my receipt. When I say expensive its $52 for a bottle of Smirnoff that is half the size of the one I get in the states for $16. For location and service I give Coles an A-Ok! read more
