We also stocked up on some beautifully fresh vegetables, snacked on samples of locally grown strawberries and chatted to the staff about how beautiful their store was. "Oh, you didn't know?" There is a less-sexy area of Cellar & Pantry to the right, which includes things like washing detergent and home-brand chocolate - y'know, all those boring necessities. OHHH I LOVE this place…read more I swear I could live here (at night.. when its quiet). It has EVERYTHING food wise you could imagine, and more. - Freshly (like right in front of your eyes) made orange and apple juice. - Meat, meat MEAT - every meat you can imagine and drool over - Baked goods... so many... try and avoid it! - Fresh ALL AUSTRALIAN produce.. yum! But the best part is the cafe inside. Open till 3pm every day - they serve all the traditional breakfast dishes like Eggs Benedict, Big Breakfast & Smashed Avo... but they also have adorable cakes, wraps and toasted sandwiches. Whenever I'm in a supermarket in the city, I always feel like I'm in a rush with the millions of people cramped into one supermarket with long queues. However, in this particular Coles I was just leisurely shopping for groceries. Customer Service: Very friendly. I kept messing up at the self check-out and needed assistance multiple times but the employee never lost her patience with me and was very kind. Additionally, given that this Coles is quite large, they have quite a bit of variety on stock too. TIP: Don't overlook the rotisserie chickens just because they're premade - these employees know how to roast!
