OHHH I LOVE this place. I swear I could live here (at night.. when its quiet). It has EVERYTHING food wise you could imagine, and more. - Freshly (like right in front of your eyes) made orange and apple juice. - Meat, meat MEAT - every meat you can imagine and drool over - Baked goods... so many... try and avoid it! - Fresh ALL AUSTRALIAN produce.. yum! But the best part is the cafe inside. Open till 3pm every day - they serve all the traditional breakfast dishes like Eggs Benedict, Big Breakfast & Smashed Avo... but they also have adorable cakes, wraps and toasted sandwiches. What can I say about LaManna that hasn't already been said? It has been a while since I've been here as it's not local but as everyone has said, LaManna is the best! It's worth a trip just for the amazing selection of cheese alone. Then there's the large meat & poultry section where I think you would find anything you're after. There are ready made salads and meals such as gnocchi, lasagne & ricotta balls in sauce. In the freezer section you'll find a variety of pasta, gyoza, dumplings and pierogi, just to name just a few. I was also happy to find some small pasta squares that I'd been looking for elsewhere but couldn't find. Is there anything you can't find here? I can highly recommend the homemade chicken schnitzel which I cooked for dinner, it tasted delicious, just like you'd make yourself. Oh, they also have a LaManna loyalty card. read more

I don't tend to get excited about or review supermarkets as they tend to be among the more bland and forgettable places to buy food. This is a worthy exception. After months of enduring tiny, understocked inner suburbs Coles stores, my mind was blown the first time I walked in here. The place is huge. Their fresh food section is bigger than a lot of whole supermarkets. With that space comes an impressive range. There was more types of yoghurt than I've ever seen in one place before and types of pasta I didn't know existed. They have most of the big brands you see in normal supermarkets but also lots of interesting smaller brands. It was also a more pleasant than usual shopping experience because there's an in store cafe, the staff are friendly and even mid-Saturday it wasn't that crowded. There's also plenty of parking. I never thought I'd review a supermarket but Lamanna is so bloody brilliant that I just can't not! The fresh produce is abundant and of great quality. The meat section is seemingly never ending and I love that you can also buy fresh fish. There's loads of locally produced grocery items, a liquor section and of course you can buy all the "boring" stuff like toilet paper and washing detergent if you need to. Apart from the range, what makes this place so special? The service! Even though this is a massive supermarket it has a lovely family feel about it and staff treat you as if you were visiting a small corner store. The check out staff are friendly and make a point of engaging with you. The trolley boys are always on hand to help and on one rainy day they even ushered us to the car under a large umbrella! In a time when people are swearing off the "big guys", it pays to remember that even when you get big you don't need to lose that "small guys" feeling that comes with exceptional service. read more

Awesome place to find international foods and any ingredient that you read in a recipe and ask "what on earth is that?" It is expensive so would not recommend buying all of your groceries there. The cafe is cool bite usually busy. Best to go on a weekday to save yourself the hassle of its popularity amongst the locals. read more

Any place that's smart enough to combine coffee and grocery shopping gets my vote and dollar. If only the trolleys had coffee cup holders. This place is huge. Take a road map kinda huge. The store is split into three dominate areas. To the left is the cafe and deli (meat, cheese, fish, meals) adn fresh produce. Stepping across into the patisserie, chilled area and general groceries. Right at the back is a very small and unimpressive liquor area, recently downsized. The highlight of Lamanna is the amazing range of products that you can get here. It really reduces the need to drive around town trying to find bits and pieces. From hand churned butter to fresh fish and an international cheese selection to cry for. The staff here are generally speaking amazing. More often then not you see staff helping mothers with toddlers and the elderly walk to their cars and unload groceries. It's nice to see a bit of old school charm back. read more

This is the best supermarket in the world. Coming from the US, I'm used to big stores, but this is unlike anything I've every experienced. It's like a cross between a Whole Foods, Continental Deli, Farmers market & a Walmart grocery store. Gourmet goods at totally reasonable prices, fresh Australian produce is delivered daily, beautiful meat & fish, onsite cafe & patisserie plus all the basics & speciality and #smugtrolley items you need. Every staff member I have talked to instore was polite, friendly & HELPFUL. You should shop here. You will not want to do the grocery run anywhere else. read more

Came to LaManna for breakie this morning. Ordered a vegetarian focaccia and didn't realise they hadn't made them yet. They came to our table and asked if I wanted something else as they wouldn't be making them until later in the morning. As I'm pregnant, I didn't really want any of the other options. The waitress went to the kitchen and came back to tell me that they'd make me one specially. Within 10 minutes I had a toasty warm fresh roasted vege focaccia in front of me!
