Needed to get a electrical outlet put in as well as have a light fixture taken a look at. Spoke with chance who was polite/responsive and scheduled a time. He had given an estimation of the time/costs for the electrical outlet installation, and his thoughts on the potential causes of the light fixture issue before the coming to the house. The estimation and time to install the outlet was very accurate and he did an excellent job. He also gave great advice regarding the fixture and let me know what parts I needed to get/replace to get it working again. We recently moved into a new home and had a lot of furniture that needed putting together, mirrors and curtain rods hanging, etc. After sending out requests for help on Yelp, Chance Coleman responded quickly and we discussed the work needed and the price. The price was reasonable considering how much time and effort goes into building some of these flat-packed items (they're ridiculously designed in some cases!), and especially since I have a crippled back and can't lift heavy things. We arranged a time and he had a cancellation which meant he could move the work up by several days - awesome! Chance and Kelsie showed up on time and, after discussing specifically what we wanted, immediately set to work. They worked like machines - seemingly non-stop - until everything was completed. They frequently checked in to see if the mirrors were in the place we wanted, etc., which was very much appreciated. After several hours, they were all done and everything looked amazing - and they even offered to take away all of the packing materials, too! What a bonus and a lovely gesture. I finally got it right and picked the correct person for the job. I had several installation and repair jobs that had piled up that needed to be done. I chose Coleman's Handyman based on the few Yelp reviews available and his response to my request for a bid. He answered and we set up a time to begin. More importantly, he was a few minutes early. He went right to work and completed everything, including a few extra ones I discovered as we did a walk-through. I had an electrical problem that he crawled up in the attic to fix. I was impressed with his knowledge and work ethic. He didn't try to tack on more and actually discouraged me from spending more on things I thought I needed that he was able to fix. He did a first-rate professional job and was reasonably priced, coming in within in the bid range he offered based on my description. I don't need a handyman often but it's comforting to know I don't have to wonder who I will call next time.
