I am SO SO happy with the results and it's only been a little over a week since surgery. Dr. Osman is tremendously thorough and a true professional. Then later they sent me a reminder for my appointment so I texted the text line (it was after hours at that point) to make sure they actually canceled it, they didn't. Short story, they harassed me at work the next day MULTIPLE times, about not having it on file that I canceled, had the nerve to ask me for screen shots of my call log to prove I called etc, I said sure! Then they went silent for several hours, then emailed me saying they were going to "wave the cancelation fee" WHAT CANCELLATION FEE?! I literally canceled more than 24 hours in advance therefor there was no cancellation fee to wave?? They have the worst customer service, so glad I didn't give my money to a place with such horrible organization and customer service! Don't let them scam you!

I waited a month for this appointment, planned around it for weeks, requested time off from work, and arranged for a babysitter, only to walk in and be told that my appointment had to be rescheduled for another month out. I still don't really know why. It appeared to be some sort of maintenance issue, although they were still taking some patients back to be seen. To make matters more confusing, someone called me a couple of weeks ago to reschedule this same appointment because I was told my PA Sara, would no longer be there. Yet she was there today seeing patients. I understand that unexpected problems happen. What bothered me was the lack of accommodation for patients who had already rearranged their lives to be there. If I don't show up for an appointment, I can be charged a fee. But when the office cancels after I've taken time off work, arranged childcare, driven there, and shown up as scheduled, I can't charge them for my lost time. I don't believe they did enough to accommodate patients affected today. At the very least, I would have expected some effort to prioritize us for rescheduling rather than simply pushing the appointment out another month.

If they didn't know what the total cost would be at the time that I called in to check prior to the appointment due to me being out of network, they should have at least told me that, rather than telling me my total cost is some untruthful $ amount. Their front desk is also rude and needs to be micro-managed by patients for anything to get done, such as transferring medical records from my previous doctor. Nidia constantly called me "honey" in a condescending, sarcastic tone in my communications with her. I have seen a number of other dermatologists in the past and have never felt this level of distrust or disrespect with a practice before. I miss my former dermatologist who recently retired. I'm going to switch to telehealth for my dermatology needs. The pricing is much more upfront and clear. I can have a video call with the dermatologist or send them photos of my condition to receive a bespoke diagnosis, just like in-person visits. I can also still communicate with the dermatologist for up to 1-2 weeks after my appointment via chat which is great. I don't work in telehealth and I usually don't promote things. I'm just tired of dealing with unclear costs and an unhelpful front desk.

Postpartum I had some dermatitis issues on my face. After 5 months of trying different things, I…read moremade an appointment at advanced dermatology and was scheduled to see Dr. Soheila Delrahim. During the appointment, she immediately diagnosed me with Seborrheic dermatitis. I told her my face reacts when I eat certain foods, but she assured me it had nothing to do with food. She was very confident in her diagnosis, and she only gave me literally 1 minute of her time before she rushed to leave the room. She prescribed a steroid cream, an anti fungal cream, and some medicated shampoo for my scalp claiming I have flaky scalp which is part of seborrheic dermatitis. (I've always had dry skin and the flaky often comes and go) and had she asked some questions, she would know that was normal for me. I went home and googled the use of castor oil on your face with SD and it said not to use castor oil as it would make SD worse. Mind you, castor oil had been the only thing that helped my skin calm down when inflammation hit so immediately I knew her diagnosis was wrong. I continued to monitor symptoms and internal/external things that caused a reaction and over two weeks I was able to figure out the issue and heal myself (I hadn't used any of the creams or shampoo she had prescribed). After a $200 visit and $85 on creams/shampoo, I was so upset and angry at her lack of care and misdiagnoses. Maybe had she spend more time with me asking questions, she would have come to a more accurate diagnosis. That's what upsets me the most. They are overly confident in their "knowledge" and dismiss your comments and questions because they think they know better than you. What's worse is, she didn't even ask any questions to ensure she was in fact diagnosing correctly. You can't just collect people's hard earned money at a time of desperate need (my face was very bad) and not give them enough time and attention to actually help them! As a side note, they ask for a credit card on file in case you cancel appointments late, and they send me an email saying my card would be charged to cover the visit fee when I a) hadn't authorized it and b) never received a bill. Save yourself some money and wrong diagnosis headaches, and go somewhere else. Terrible experience! I should be entitled to a refund!
