In January 2023, I was desperately looking for a dermatologist, so I called here and got an appointment on the same day with the physician assistant. I didn't mind because I urgently needed an appointment after using some home remedies that burned my foot and caused other complications. Long story short, the physician assistant saved me by giving me a shot and some medicine. She was very knowledgeable and quick. I'm not sure if she is still there, but I would trust her judgment. read more

Don't expect a modern contemporary office, this place is definitely old school and feels like walking into granny's house... but I walked out with happy, young feeling skin. I'm not sure who people are talking about in the front that is rude because I've only interacted with Tamara who is super friendly and helpful. I've had a skin check, acne removed, prescription skin care products and Dysport done here with Doctor Jankowski. She is super friendly and calm natured, never pressuring me. I've had to being my 1 year old and they also are so accomidating/understanding. Knocked one star off for the wait, got in about 45 min after my appointment, I don't love that because I have to make my childcare plans but other than that I'm happy coming here! read more

I love this office, it is in a convenient location, and the staff is very friendly (other than the male that several other people commented on in their reviews. I think that's just his personality, he has a bit of a flat affect, and I don't think it's malicious). The female in the front is SUPER friendly and helpful and I've never had a problem. The first time I walked in I was surprised by the pink everywhere, but now I think it's cute and retro. Everything appears clean to me and all supplies are new, opened in front of you and thrown away in appropriate sharps containers. The PA providers and Dr. Jankowski that I've interacted with are very friendly, knowledgeable, polite, understanding, and they listen to what I have to say and answer all my questions. I really appreciated that when I missed a couple calls a couple weeks apart about a lesion with abnormal cells that the margin was positive and needed further excision, the office was persistent in calling me back to make sure I got another appointment to come in. This use to be a good place to go, but this office has changed unfortunately for the worse. The staff is nice but they hurry you through and charge outrageous charges. I was charged $700. ! For a 15 minute visit. These charges are not told to you ahead of time. I have Medicare and still had to pay hundreds of dollars for my quick check-up. If you are looking for a dermatologist I highly recommend not to visit Dr. Jankowski. Her care for patients has been replaced by her care for her money. Listen this place is just weird. I would not recommend going here if you are used to a doctor's office that functions like a "normal doctor's office" with things like online bill pay etc. and without the weird mid 90's decor covered in dust. I went to have a mole removed and waited for two months for a bill even though my insurance had been charged...I finally called about the bill and was told "those must have gone out yesterday, but I'll send you another one". Okay fine I'll wait. Several weeks pass and I finally get a bill, but here's the thing, you have to pay via mail as in write a check and put it in the mail or write your credit card information on their bill and send it in. It's 2023 and I have to mail a check to a doctor's office. Weird. Again, okay fine, I'll do that. Sent the check May 20th and just received a "final notice bill" WTF?!? When you call you don't get anyone on the line currently. There are several very unfriendly and again weird people working at this place. I was scheduled to see the doctor but ended up seeing the PA without being told that's who I was going to be seeing. They have a strange policy where they will only remove two moles at any given appointment. So you have to go back if you want something else worked on... Again, weird and pretty sure that's not how insurance works. It's simply a scam to get people to return so they can double charge. I think it's time for this doctor and her practice to retire. A dirty healthcare facility is the last thing one would like to experience so we walked in and walked right back out in less than two minutes. How can a healthcare facility be so gross? Try to have your appointment scheduled at 6am if it's for 8am, so they may see you at your scheduled appointment time! This is a joke, only reason why we come here is due to its location to our home. I understand that medical place need to have policies, but those policies shouldn't exist to simply make more money off of your patients. I was diagnosed with a virus, that never goes away. I was prescribed medicine to help when that virus presents itself. I called to have the dermatologist fill that prescription and was told I have to go in and waste my time and money to be told I need the same medicine I was prescribed last time I came in. I know the diagnosis hasn't changed, the doctor knows the prescription hasn't changed. Even the operator who picked up and spoke with me about said policy understands the prescription hasn't changed. Why, other to extract more money and waste my time would I have to go back into see the doctor to be told the same exact thing? This place is a joke. It seems very antiquated when you walk in there and their policies are retrograde as well. Can't stand places that have policies in place only to enrich the owners. Don't go to this place, they place profit over the well-being of the customer. STAY CLEAR read more

On the recommendation of friends, many of them from fire department, we started going to Dr Jankowski about eight years ago. The office is retro and old-fashioned in its decor. But that doesn't bother me. If you want new modern office decor, and a cold sterile environment, you won't like this . The staff has been very sweet and kind and they explain things when I ask questions. The gentleman at the front desk is a bit gruff. But he's also easy to talk to and friendly when we've asked him questions. They are very flexible with appointments and we've been able to schedule appointments that are convenient to us every single time. we're driving over 40 miles to go to this office. Because we think it's a good place to go. There's a limit on how many moles or cysts can be removed per visit because of Medicare and insurance limitations and rules. Sometimes I have to go back a few times because of that. They've taken off pre-cancerous spots and given me medicine to deal with them and they've never returned. I've also been offered samples and discount coupons for medicines that weren't covered by my insurance. So it is an old-fashioned style office, but they are very kind. Both Dr Jankowski, and her PAs have changed over the years, but they take all the time that's needed and they've never rushed us through an appointment . It's not fancy and it's not new. If you have to pay any co-pay of any kind, you're gonna be paying with a check because they're not into online Billing. I say give them a chance. we've been very pleased and everyone we've sent there has been pleased. read more

Dr. Jankowski is very nice but I have had very long wait times and I am unhappy with how my follow up appointment was handled. The Dr. had instructed me to make a follow up appointment and to tell the front desk not to have me wait and she would just quickly check how I was healing. The front desk staff seemed confused when I relayed this message and they put me in a room anyway. I waited for over 1 hour for a 5 minute conversation. And I have to pay $25. No exceptions. Very upset and unhappy with this. Also, the first time I was billed, it was for the full amount even though my insurance covered some. I had to call and have billing correct it. read more

The office is readily seen from the street and there are 6 parking spaces in front. 2 are handicapped. The inside of the office is cutely decorated. That's about the extent of the positives. She does not check insurance. You better figure it out first. They don't take payment over the phone. Not at the office. Not even at the payment center. Apparently she doesn't allow payments to be given over the phone. It Must cut into her revenue. Patients have to mail in a check or walk in a check personally. And there's a fee to use a credit card. I don't even have checks anymore. So its a problem. Plus Ive never seen the physician only the NPs which is usually fine by me. Except the last time I saw the NP I had a pimple injected. She charged me the same amount that my podiatrist charged to inject a painful neuroma. My podiatrist used a numbing spray and had to carefully gauge where to inject (cause he's injecting nerves) not a pimple. These are not the same level of clinical care but apparently she used the higher level of care code as a charge. On top of that she caused a small crater in my chin/jaw area after injection. Which after one month did not go away and I had to get filler injected to fill the hole she left. Sigh. I am not happy with that office. There is greed from top to bottom and a lack of expertise that cost me alot of money to fix. You are forewarned. read more

This is the most amazing dermatologist ever, she literally takes her time with every procedure and any questions you might have , she has the most amazing staff as well, the sweet gals at the front are a breath of fresh air always greeting you with such a sweet smile and a good morning every time ,i had the pleasure to meet Emma one of the gals that work with Dr. J, (her nurse ) Makes you feel right at home and spent a great deal of time with me about how she grows her tomatoes, she gave me wonderful tips on how to grow mine, these gals are just fabulous, thank GOD for these lovely ladies read more

The actual doctor didn't show up and I was seen by the PA Chu who prescribed me the ointment that is not covered by any insurance and cost $1000 dollars. The pharmacist says there are at least three comparable generic brands alternatives available that cost only $10. Dishonest practice and stay away! read more

I was a patient for over a decade. But the quality of service went down hill in the last year or so. Thru out the years I've seen staff come and go like a revolving door, but never affected me, so it didn't bother me. I literally had a nurse cry last year during my appointment and vented on how overworked, understaffed, and under paid they all are. The dermatologist who would regularly attend me quit without a job lined up, but that's how fed up she was with all the issues and unfairness in that practice caused by Dr. JANKOWSKI. I called several times regarding a claim for a visit back in December 2021 that I had with DR Jankowski herself that wasn't submitted properly. One of the persons in the billing department told me on more than one occasion they were behind because they're understaffed. And she promised she would take care of it. My claim was not submitted in a timely manner: it was for an appointment back in December of 2021. So my insurance refused to pay the claim. Now I'm responsible for it and I'm in collections: The irony of it, I'd that the appointment i had was with the Dr. herself and was a complete waste of my time. She was training someone new and literally did nothing for my issue. This is beyond unfair to me and I truly hope she loses all her patients. The staff is great, very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. It's the doctor who is out of touch. I'm an rating her, and posting this in every platform I can. read more

She was incredibly rude and continued to cut me off when I was speaking. It was my first time at Dr. Jankowski's office today - she is incredible and undoubtedly the best Doctor I've had the privilege of being seen by. Jeri, her PA, was a sweetheart. She took her time to make sure I understood all my medications and how to use them - the passion she has for her work shows me she will be very successful in her field. Deena who gave me my treatment was so kind in her practice, she gets a bad wrap on Yelp because she handles the insurance - but that's not fair! I've seen PA Chu several times and she has been wonderful -- not only does she listen carefully, but she asks questions and explains treatment choices. After two other local derms failed me, Chu diagnosed a long-standing (and terrifying to look at) fungal infection -- and prescribed the meds I needed to beat it. Later I requested her advice on some facial hyperpigmentation due to sun damage, and she addressed that, too, with an anti-aging protocol of topical creams. I'm so pleased with this practice that I sent my teen daughter there for mole removal. Overall, I can get appointments easily, I rarely wait longer than five minutes, everyone is pleasant and my concerns are addressed by competent and thoughtful professionals. Thank you! I've been going to chu since I was 15 and wouldn't go anywhere else. Every time my face breaks out in cystic outbreaks when I'm stressed from work, Dr. Chu seems to always fix my problem and my face is clear! After a visit and being given the name of an over-the-counter product to try I was told to come back in a month if there was no improvement. a month later after no improvement, I called to make an appointment - I asked if they offer telehealth for a check-in like this or if I need to come in as I live 30 minutes away and will need to get a substitute as I teach. I was told I need to come in. after waiting to be seen I was told by the nurse practitioner seeing me that unfortunately there are no other treatment options they know of for me!! another nurse practitioner was called in and said ya, maybe get a second opinion. I could not believe I was told to come in just to hear that. When I complained Dr. Jankowski said because I was seen by TWO people (I did not ask for two people to tell me there's nothing they can do) she will be billing me for a visit. Dr. Jankowski is a gentle, caring and highly competent doctor. I have seen her for miscellaneous skin conditions, especially when I used to live in the area, so this review is a little overdue. She helped me with a bout of adult acne one summer that proved to be quite tenacious. She is pleasant and works quickly, with good bedside manner. In my experience, appointments have always been on time. Her nurse practitioner is also well-trained and efficient. I would definitely recommend this office to a friend. read more

My son has been going for a year and nothing is working he is given antibiotics after another and another his face is worse then its ever been and now he is using the non insurance made up cream from the dr. herself more wasted money...........ugh..... And the front desk talk about rude, they never say hi, I make it a point to interrupt by saying hello!!! and they barely look up, it kills them to acknowledge you. Dr J has been my dermatologist for over 30 years. Her & her staff are truly the absolute best. I have been told many many times that I look much younger than I am. Thank you Dr J for your excellent advice. She has also found and removed (to many to count) suspicious looking moles. Some where fine & some where pre-cancerous. She had to remove more tissue from a few to make sure they were fine. I have NEVER gotten one stitch from her. No one can even see where work was done. They also have many samples of meds so it's not even necessary to go to the pharmacy. Thank you Dr Jankowski, your the best. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Jankowski for any type of acne issues. I took my daughter here for stubborn acne that we could not get to clear up with over the counter products. My daughter had a couple treatments in her office and was prescribed a face wash with two topical creams. It's been a couple months and her acne is almost all gone. She feels so much more confident and we are so pleased with our decision to take her to Dr. Jankowski. read more

I went in for redness on my face and I was told it was required for me to get a full body exam (extra cost) I was then told I needed 2 moles removed because "they looked dangerous and they looked abnormal" I told the doctors I have had these my whole life and they have never grown or changed and I was told it was necessary or else I would get sick. After removing them (and 2 scars) the results came back and guess what, they were completely normal! And now I have a huge bill all for things I didn't even go to the doctor for. I went to the office for cyst removal doctor said $400 out of pocket for the cyct removal i agreed and then they said but if you go thru insurance there will be no charges. They knew what they were doing and wanted to remove more cysts i had which i didnt do and billed the insurance 1200 dollars and send me another bill for deductible and 20% . No wonder the doctors office is slow and does not have patients because they lie to people and cant be straight forward. Why would I go thru Insurance if I can pay around the same price out of pocket that I was billed for... I selected this doctor through the list of doctors my insurance accepted that were close to my house. First, there was free parking and a lot of it just feet away from the entrance. Also a huge sign outside so you don't miss it. The theme of the office was kind of like a corner cottage and it was absolutely adorable. A great change from the typical boring office look or the new thing where you want in and feel like you're in a 5-star restaurant which makes you question how much you're being charged. I didn't meet with the actual doctor but they informed me of this when I made the appointment. Instead, I met this extremely wonderful young doctor that really took her time with me. She was very friendly and confident in her breath of knowledge which is what I needed since the purpose of my appt. was the need for a second opinion. Avoid this office at all costs! I was on time for both of my appointments and I had to wait almost two hours both times. I went in with a skin condition and Dr. Jankowski recommended surgical removal immediately after the diagnosis. She mentioned there would be some scarring, but that it would disappear in 2-3 months. It is now going on 6 months. About a few days later after the diagnosis and surgery, I did some extensive research online and discovered that a lot of people easily cured the condition with herbal solutions with no scarring. Prior to trying herbal treatments, most folks online had the same story as I: expensive doctor's visits and prescriptions that didn't work (and left scars). After four weeks of using tea tree oil (and now Emuaid), I only have a few scars and spots left. From now on, I will only visit a doctor if I have a life critical emergency or to get a diagnosis. I am finding that most doctors, including Dr. Jankowski, have little knowledge of treatments outside of their world of prescription drugs. Their minds are extremely small and we the patients end up wasting our money as a result of their lack of knowledge and refusal to accept the fact that alternative medicine works. Dr. Jankowski seems to have a lot of older patients (over 65) who may appreciate the office that looks like an old folks home. If you're young like me and technologically savvy, do yourself a favor and find a young dermatologist who has an open mind and is constantly exploring alternative medicine and natural ways to heal the body. read more

This place is run by SCAM ARTISTS! I have a few shallow acne scars from those awful hormonal years--nothing too horrible but it affected how I saw myself and I wanted the marks gone! I thought a laser could smooth and resurface and after hearing so much hype and respectable SOUNDING "reviews" from ads and radio spots, I booked my consultation. Don't let yourself be fooled! These people prey on the vulnerability of acne sufferers who are desperate for a fix--YOU WILL NOT FIND IT HERE! The room was packed with other hopefuls and when I finally got into an exam room--the snazzy "used car-salesman" girl (PA Chu) looked my skin over under light and gave me a handmirror. "Look--you are decent looking but you would look AMAZING if you had clear skin (duh?) We can give you that clear skin but only if you are serious and willing to invest in it." This cheerleader was telling me everything I wanted to hear and he brought the Dr. in who said "Yes, of course--the treatment will work" She then told the car salesman girl to put me on the line to financing. I am on the telephone with some other woman who is now telling me the treatments will cost THOUSANDS--almost $10,000 if I heard correctly. (is this a joke?!) but since my credit is great, they could finance me no problem. They were pushy to get a hold of my credit card number, but while I was debating this huge investment, my intuition kicked in and I told them to "nevermind" and I hung up the phone. Best decision I ever made! DO NOT GO HERE--find a dermatologist who is not after your wallet. There are some that truly want to help you get clear skin--their reputations depend on it. These guys reputations are driven by money--they only have good reputations because they paid a lot of money for it--all those ads and billboards are part of the sham. Do not buy into it. A top of the line laser treatment for getting rid of acne marks SHOULD cost $3,000 and under. At this place you are not paying for quality or the best in the field. People can operate a laser after attending a 2-day training class--it does not mean they are experts and it definitely does not mean they SHOULD be operating a business that flaunts laser technology to cheat desperate customers out of thousands of dollars. The PA in this office is mentally ill and morally bankrupt. Her name is Chu. She cares about one thing-MONEY. She puts on this act like she is so sweet and kind, but it is just an act. read more
