worst. i had an appointment at 11:45 and i got there at 11:40 and they said that the doctor is backed up. i left my phone number and told them to call me when it's 5 minutes to when i come in. an hour later then called said hurry up, and rushed to the office and the front desk was empty, shouted "hello" nobody answered. waited another 25 minutes and left. worst place. everything is dirty and old, the doctor looked a mess. at least simply have. a professional appearance and not like just got out of the bed and came to work. read more

This is such a horrible and unprofessional place, I got there the day of my daughter's appointment a few minutes later and according to them, the appointment was the next week at 1pm, the receptionist kept trying to cut me off but I stopped her and asked to be heard. When my mother in law gets there with daughter for the supposed time and day of the appointment, they told her the appointment was at 12:30 instead of 1!!! And that supposedly I had never been there!! I wished I would have gave my mother in law the appointment confirmation paper the gave when I went that stated the time! Will not be going back there. I called to confirm the day of my appointment, and she said she would cancel my appointment because I didn't have the same IP etc, cool whatever, as I start to express how it's so unprofessional because I'm waiting 2 MONTHS for an appointment like why not call and let me know instead of waiting for the appointment she rudely continues to interrupt me doesn't even let me speak and to top it off puts me right back on hold!!!! I made an apt for my 8yr old son for this Friday June 25th at 1pm. My little boy has been dealing with a skin condition for some time so this apt was very important to us.. Per the office I needed to be vaccinated to take my son in.. I Got Vaccinated! I showed up to my son apt 15 min early to fill out the required paperwork that needs to be filled out BEFORE his apt (per the office policy) .. when I walking up I saw a short lady with blue scrubs leaving the office, she was looking away from me avoiding eye contact- I didn't think anything of it....But when I get to the door to find it LOCKED... I knock at the door NO ANSWER! I CALL multiple times.. NO ANSWER! I wait 20 after my schedule apt to see if someone will shows up.. The Service: the staffs are super friendly. They have lunch break from 12-2pm. My appointment was at 2pm. Only 5 minutes wait while I was filling out the paperwork. I could hear the doctor screaming at his receptionists for not getting my forms earlier. He made me feel super uncomfortable my entire visit. He didn't listen to my concerns at all. He prescribed me the same creams that I told him I had already tried before. I told him I wanted to talk about Acutane, but he just kept dismissing me. He told me the stuff he prescribed wasn't covered by mg insurance, but he wasn't going to change them. They also gave my prescription to a pharmacy (that they prob have a contract with) without even letting me know. Awful place. Don't go. read more

Just visited this office last week and I must say I had a great experience! I need to prep my skin for my wedding and the staff was very helpful . Vilma helped me get an appointment, and when I arrived she was very attentive at answering my questions. The entire staff made me feel very welcomed. Made an appointment there because it's close to my house. LA County is in HIGH Covid transmission right now, so when visiting a MEDICAL OFFICE, one would think masks are a thing. Not so! One of the receptionists was wearing a mask, the other, not so much. Waited 30 minutes for the doc to show up, and when he did, no mask! When I asked him if he could please put one on, he said, and I quote, "No. Because it's not necessary." So I walked out. "Not necessary?" Really? You come in contact with people all day long in cramped, non-ventilated rooms, and it's "not necessary?" When everyone around you has COVID, and numbers are rising faster than my blood pressure, it's "not necessary?" The willful ignorance in this place is astonishing. He could very well be walking around infecting everyone in his office, as masks are "not necessary!" Well, it's not necessary that I go there again. There are other dermatologists in town who maybe care more about their patients' wellbeing. As with everything else in life, vote with your dollars. He ain't getting mine. read more

Went here for my 4year old son a couple of days ago. Went for some discolored areas that our doctor had become concerned with. This guy wouldn't even really look at the areas on our sons foot and legs. We asked plenary of questions and he blew them off. When we asked them what they could be all he replied was "I don't know". He didn't even offer any real answers. Waste of a trip. And the lady at the front desk was super rude. Instead of explaining things kindly she talked down to us and even told the doctor to be quiet as he was trying to mediate on her behalf. This place is a waste so not go here. read more

I have used Dr Borok for years. He provides me with various prescriptions I need and evaluates different bumps etc for cancer.

Dr Michael found 3 cancers on the back of my neck that PA Chu at Dr. Evelyn Jankowski clinic in Granada missed. He is competent caring and gentle. I totally trust him. Every time I visit this office I have a positive experience. All the staff in this office are professional and efficient. He helped me so much I don't need to even go back since the meds he prescribed me have been doing such a great job.  Basically specific creams for rosacea which are Rx only but definitely work. He is kind and makes you feel comfortable regardless off any condition. I can tell he had been doing Dermatology for years and is absolutely AWESOME. I think he is just FANTASTIC! Oh! read more

The. Worst. Dermatologist. EVER! He was the most crass & unsympathetic doctor I've ever experienced. His bedside manner is terrible, he's not patient and seems unhappy. When he realized he couldn't or didn't want to help me, he referred me to another doctor without informing me. His receptionist is no better. She's rude and never informs you before you get there that all office visits have to be paid in cash, which forces you to go to the antique ATM in the building that charges a ridiculous fee. They don't deserve 1 star. Go elsewhere. read more

I would give this office and its customer service 0 stars if possible. The first time my sister and I went, we were late 10 minutes due to horrific traffic, and while no one else was in the waiting room, the horrible front desk lady turned my sister away and said we would have to reschedule. The doctor wouldn't even come to see her. There was another woman there with a 6 month old baby, and I overheard her conversation with the same lady. The woman said that she had called the office prior to coming, and that they had told her to come around 4:00-4:30. The office lady checked and said that there was no such thing, and that the woman would have to reschedule. The woman said that it's unspeakable to turn down a BABY, and the office lady went and checked with the doctor, and came back, with the same response that she would have to reschedule. THE DOCTOR DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO COME OUT OF HIS OFFICE. The second time we went to the office, which was today, my mother had brought everything she needed EXCEPT for the primary doctor insurance card, which she's never needed to bring before. The office lady said that she couldn't take me in because of that, and I offered to show her a picture of it, which she still turned down. When my mother asked if there were any other options available, she said my mother would have to reschedule for my sister. Besides the ridiculous policies that this office has, the front desk lady was extremely rude, and spoke to us with attitude. She is a very unsympathetic, heartless person, and I can say the same for the doctor. I've never been so disappointed and disgusted by an office before.
