I had a horrendous experience with Dr Kransons office. I never meet Dr Kranson, but the office pushed his PA Brian Leng to me. PA Brian Leng terribly missdiagnosed my condition just by looking at me. With full confidence and arrogance, he told me I have psoriasis without running any tests, even though none of the symptoms matched the diagnosis. I eventually visited a psoriasis specialist elsewhere, and they straight up told me that my symptoms look nothing like psoriasis, and later after having a biopsy with a different Doctor, psoriasis was ruled out. Due to incompetent PA Brians complete negligence and mistreatment of my skin condition, my symptoms started worsening over the month of wrong treatment. This is disgusting and a complete negligence by this establishment. Never trust this clinic as their incompetent specialists will misdiagnose you and worsen your condition just to get you out of the clinic read more

Very grateful to have found Dr.Kranson. I had to get invasive surgery on my face at 17 years for possible skin cancer. Who I choose for my skin checks, now in my mid-late twenties is of high importance to me. I have been to countless dermatologists, plastic surgeons, skin cancer specialists, etc. Dr.Kranson is extremely thorough and professional. Dr. Kranson has a chaperone in the room at all times and talks you through the entire appointment at what he is looking at and what he is looking for. Excellent bedside manner and extremely knowledgeable! He specifically asked me what my concerns were and all of my questions and concerns were answered and acknowledged. My previous dermatologist across the street was always trying to get me to buy lasers and skincare products. Dr.Kranson is the exact opposite. Two stars because Dr. Kranson is very nice. However, I think it's egregious to charge a $130 visit for just taking a 1 minute look at my daughter's rash. My daughter had a rash and her pediatrician instructed me to put an ointment on it. I wanted a second opinion so her pediatrician recommended Dr. Kranson. Dr. Kranson looked at the rash and instructed me to follow what my pediatrician says and follow up with her pediatrician. He didn't even offer to do another culture or anything else. A few years back, Blair Kranson MISDIAGNOSED me as having actinic keratosis. He then had me apply a medication called Efudex as a treatment. When I returned for my follow up visit, Dr. Kranson looked very surprised / puzzled because the crusting skin eruption that apparently would have been expected to occur from using Efudex (if I ACTUALLY had actinic keratosis) never happened! During treatment and for about a month afterwards, Efudex did cause my skin to look awfully red and irritated though, and that was aggravating. I would later find out from another doctor, who CORRECTLY diagnosed me, that I instead have a skin condition called DSAP -- NOT actinic keratosis. I hope that Dr. Kranson has since learned what DSAP is and how to identify it. For understandable privacy reasons, I am writing this review under an alias account name. read more

Dr. Blair Kranson is nice but will cut any and all corners possible. There are several ways to perform the procedure I had done. In my case he chose the quickest method with no consideration of the scars and or an incomplete outcome. I wasn't sure what went wrong with the procedure until I visited 2 other physicians which confirmed my suspicions. I would think long and hard about having any procedure done by Dr. Kranson. read more

Dr. Kranson is one of the best. Every time I've come in to see him the waiting room is filled with loyal patients. There's a reason people keep coming back to him. For me it boils down to a few things. 1. Trust ! He's beyond sincere and not to mention conservative. He won't rush to get you on meds you don't need or quickly diagnose you. I've had a Mole on the side of my head since birth that, with time grew about 3 fingers or more wide. It became irritated and very concerning, after one visit Dr.Kranson and his team suggested an extraction. Kranson charges for follow-up visits! Patients beware! My mom was examined by Dr. Kranson, and he prescribed a medication for her rash. Her condition did not improve, so over the phone, his assistant phoned in another medication. Her condition did not improve, so he asked her to return to his office. She did, and he prescribed another medication. She was charged for the visit! I asked the assistant, "my mom still has to pay, even though it's a follow-uo visit?" His assistant replied he did. I needed a Dermatologist 2 months ago and I thought I got lucky when Dr Kranson's office was able to accommodate me the very next day. The doctor DOES NOT take the time to examine what the problem is. He was quick to diagnose the skin irritation I have on my chin. He leaves the exam room before I had the chance to ask any question...so I would end up asking the assistant and of course they don't know the answer to my question. He gave me numerous creams to apply and ONE MONTH LATER, the irritation on my chin is still not better. So I went back for another visit, AGAIN he did not spend the time explaining my condition..what to do and what NOT to do. FINALLY, I just had enough of my condition not getting better and found another Doctor. What a difference!! The new doctor I found was not local but I was willing to travel because of the bad experience with Dr. Kranson's office. Dr Kranson's office staff are NOT knowledgeable of their task and is not informed about the results of the test prior to calling the client. My son developed a very bad rash due to wrestling last week. Our dermatologist that we have been going to for years did not have time for us. I called Dr. Kranson's office, explained the situation, and they fit him in right away. Dr. Kranson was very thorough, took samples from his skin, prescribed the right medication and even gave me some samples so that I would have the medication right away. Due to my pregnancy and hormonal changes, I started getting a growth on my ear, almost like a blood blister. My general doctor put a referral out to see a dermatologist and I met with Dr. Kranson. The office was clean, the staff was professional and best of all Dr. Kranson was awesome! He has great bedside manners, he is generous with his time and informative. He took all my anxiety and fear away just by how he diagnosed and how he treated the growth so quickly and efficiently. That was about 3 months ago and my ear healed up perfectly! I had such a great experience that I made another appointment with him to treat little bumps around my eyes. He again took the time to diagnose what it was and also took the time to take a look at a whole other issue that I didn't make an appointment for. What I appreciate most is how he didn't automatically go for the aggressive approach to treat my issues with surgery or removal right away like other dermatologists would have done to make more money. He gave me FREE topical medicine to treat my problem areas and recommended that if this approach doesn't have an affect, than if I so choose- we can go for the more aggressive approach. It's a breath of fresh air to know that not all Doctors are out to get your money. I also want to note that the nurse, Brenda was also amazing. I spoke with her over the phone and she took the time to hear about my concerns and explained what the Doctor might do and explained pricing. We have been going to Dr. Kranson for over 20 years. My family and I go and see him when we need his help on our different skin issues. He is always very good with his diagnosis of what we need. He has also done a surgery on my husband in his office to remove a growth off his back, and everything was great. We also go and see him for my teenagers acne and he has been a big help with that as well. I see Patty to do my microderamabrasion treatment for the last 10 years. I would highly recommend seeing her if you looking for someone to do this treatment on you. She does a wonderful job and you can't tell how old I am. Everyone in his off is wonderful to work with I have never had a problem at anytime with anyone who works there! They are a kind and caring group of people. Dr. Kranson is the perfect blend of soft spoken bedside manner with the firmness and focused determination necessary to to diagnose, treat and ultimately heal the infirmity. My skin cancer was treated very seriously and vigilantly hunted down and subsequently annihilated by Dr. Kranson. The procedure was expertly handled by Dr's expert skill in conjunction with each member of the caring and supportive staff. The ongoing follow up and proficient care since the outpatient procedure has been thorough and continuous monitoring of the healing process. Now, three months since the surgery, I am finally free of the burden that I had been stubborn and reluctant to treat for more than ten years.
