We made the arrangements for pick up, destination, and cost within a few mins after contact. I checked in with them 24hrs before my flight arrival and when I got there Mr Harold was waiting for me at a door outside baggage claim and we were off. Mr Harold spent the drive giving me the lay of the land, and restaurant recommendations; several of which I visited with my colleagues during my week long business trip. Had a perfect start to my first ever visit to NOLA and Bernard Transportation was a big part of that experience. Lastly, my flight out of MSY was scheduled for 5am. He had our flight number so he knew when we would get in. I was VERY nervous when we landed and we called his number, and there was no answer. There was also no voicemail set up, which immediately set off red flags. After two more calls with no answer, I was beginning to formulate back up plans. Finally, he answered, and confirmed he was on his way. Our pick up from the airport was about 15 minutes late, but that's not too bad. He was nice and non-intrusive, and got us where we needed to go in a good time. His speed and lack of turn signals made me nervous, but we were fine. I adored the driver, Harry, who was very kind and informative beforehand, but this process is just not fair for those who have had a long flight and just want to get in and relax, or those who just want to explore New Orleans as soon as possible. On what appeared to be a slow day I ended up being the only rider, after I waited on the shuttle for an hour for seats to be filled. With New Orleans being one of the more touristy places, it still baffles me that this shuttle could not get more riders other than I within an hour. If you have no time restraints and staying within or nearby downtown New Orleans, then look no further than Airport Shuttle New Orleans. We were charged $45 for the arrival and I had not paid yet. Warren dropped us off and Ms. Christi contacted me later for my credit card information. It was so easy and stress free. For our departure we scheduled a 5am pick up on Monday morning for $35. I prepaid when I paid for our first ride. However, at 5:10 our ride still wasn't there. Based on our first trip I figured something must be wrong. It turns out our driver had a flat tire and was stuck on the side of the road.
