I have spent the past two years learning to just live with back pain, having conceded to the idea that this would be my new normal. I saw Dr. Vollmer. It was a first time visit since my usual chiropractor had retired. It was very disturbing to say the least. A young lady will take your blood pressure. Why? It is not a medical facility that can treat your blood pressure. Obviously a superficial impression. Had x-ray of lower back area only and charged twice what different chiropractor subsequently charged for whole spine x-ray. I went in for lower back issue. When he did adjustment he used way too much force, in my opinion, in the neck area. I've been to a few chiropractors in my day and no one ever used that much force. A month later and my neck is still sore. It is obvious to me there was some tissue damage. My neck before this visit had absolutely no issues. I am so concerned that I will be going to Lifeline Services to have sonogram of my carotid artery. Dr. Vollmer's attitude seemed very odd. Did not like his attitude at all. Very arrogant. I will never go back to that facility and would not recommend him to anyone. Wish now I had gotten a different chiropractor at that facility. As it is I have found a different facility that is much more to my liking. read more
