When we started looking for an apartment to rent we came across an apartment on Zillow and contacted the agent, who happened to be from this office. Her name is Sarah. She got back to us very quickly and shortly scheduled a viewing. We loved the apartment and went about the process of getting qualified to rent it. Both me and my wife apparently have less than stellar credit but Sarah went over every little thing with a fine toothed comb and even brought a couple of innacuracies to our attention! She kept in constant communication throughout the process as we negotiated terms with the landlord and was very flexible to set up meetings with us. She was never pushy with us at all and eventually she got us qualified! So as I write this I'm sitting in our new apartment thanks to her hard work! They discriminate against people with vouchers. Left my info and called back every few days to them saying no realtor accepted my case. I have good credit, no criminal history, literally perfect tenant except that I use a voucher. Don't bother most people in NYC have help paying for housing. Disgusting practices. I would really like to give no stars...I was looking for a condominium in Columbia, South Carolina. I was referred to an Elizabeth Wyman with Coldwell Bankers.. This realtor was unethical and untrustworthy. In writing up our contract for the condominium, she first presented a contract with crossed out figures. Secondly, we had a housing inspection done, which clearly indicated a need to replace the HVAC system. She outright told myself & my wife, being new home buyers, that we really didn't need a Hvac inspection, as the home inspection should be sufficient. Not wanting to be uninformed purchasing our first property, we had the hvac system inspection. Both the housing inspector & the HVAC inspector determined that the HVAC system needed to be replaced. Elizabeth Wyman went & had a heating & cooling system repairman come in and write a statement saying the system was working without doing a standard inspection on the system. This dishonest realtor also changed dates for the earnest payment from April 11, 2023 to April 1, 2023 in the second contract; once she finally presented a contract that was professionally done, without crossed out figures. It appeared the whole time we were working with her that she was attempting to mislead us into buying a property that clearly was not presented in good faith; as she kept saying she was working in our best interests & the interest of the seller as well. If you insist on using this particular agency, then I would really stress avoiding David Sansone. He's by far the worst realtor I have ever come across - their attitude is absolutely ridiculous. I am absolutely appalled by the service that I received and I feel obligated to warn everyone else so that they can avoid getting this treatment. My experience with him started out pleasantly enough, he stepped in to show me a home in Dyker Heights when his coworker was unavailable. I sent him a thank you email and asked him to go ahead and forward me any listings that he comes across in the Dyker Heights area. Two days later, he sends me 2 emails: one with a home in 11214 (Bensonhurst) and then another for 11228 (Dyker Heights). I responded with a text message to him that I'd like to see the Dyker Heights home on Sunday at noon if he's available and asked him to confirm. On Friday, he asks me to confirm to see a home that was in the 11214 area and I reminded him that I never asked to see a 11214 listing, I requested to see the Dyker Heights listing in 11228. His next text message to me said that the zip codes are in the emails that he sends out, to which I responded that I'm aware that the zip codes are listed in the emails and I specifically requested to see the Dyker Heights listing. He disregarded this and just pressed on whether or not I wanted to see the 11214 listing ... I responded with "No" and then followed up with "and I'd like to be removed from your future listings" since he was giving me attitude and disregarding my requests. Now guys, here's his idea of "customer service" ... his next response to me was "Don't worry ... I wouldn't waste anymore time on u anyway ..." First off, David Sansone, you were wrong for not reading my instructions/request correctly and secondly, you need to be re-trained in customer service. I've been in customer service for many years myself, and I know that this is NOT the way to talk to a client. I'd also like to add that I feel it was such a dumb move that you put what you said in WRITING because I will make sure that your management hears about your terrible service. Updated on (9/14/2010): I called the property location and spoke to his manager, Joseph Hamdan. His attitude was very cold, sounded like he thought I was wasting his time and he really didn't reassure me that the situation would be taken care of. Take your money elsewhere. read more

I started to look for an apartment under a week ago. It is exhausting having to jump around the city at all hours to find the perfect home while balancing work. That being said, Juan Martes is a godsend! Not only is he EXTREMELY patient with me but he listens to my needs, concerns, and has been flexible with meeting up at late hours during the week. This apartment hunt has been rather stressful and after seeing 10 apartments by a bunch of different brokers who are trying to nickel and dime you, it can be rather discouraging. Funny that I just read a review that speaks just as low about the owner of this agency as I am about to:like the other young lady, I am giving 0 stars, I will not drag the agent through the mud, but his boss needs to take some business classes. In August of 2013 I selected an agent from CB Reliable to sell my home. During this period of time there have been various conversations with said agent regarding lack of communication pertaining to buyer feedback, deals that were in progress and the lack of follow through on various points. I felt I had expressed my concerns openly but still, these issues continued and myself and my siblings were very unhappy. Even considering firing them and hiring someone new. We decreased the price of the home to make it more desirable. I was fine with doing this as I am not an agent and clearly hired someone at 6% commission to give me guidance. At no point did he say that our starting point was not good. We are now 6 months down the road and he asks me to renew. We have lost 4 contracts and we are fed up. I send an email noting my reasons and politely say that we will not be moving forward with them and I wish him luck and to please come take their sign and leave our keys at their office. We had not received the service we expected and it is our right to move on to a different agency. The following day I receive a voice mail from a person by the name of Joseph Hamdan who says he is the Broker/Owner and to call him, so I do. I am greeted with a snarky individual who has clearly come to fight, not try to help the situation as I would have expected. He proceeds to tell me that I am "too involved" in the process and I "want to know too much". Is he kidding? This is my house! I deserve to know status. He tried to explain home purchasing to me as if I was an idiot and proceeded to yell and talk over me like this was a high school fight. He continues by saying "How about this? We don't want to sell your home!" That takes gall. He tried to bait me into a competitive match over marketing as I am a Marketing Executive, to which I dismissed. Eventually I told him to never call me again. He called back 3 times thereafter. Even speaking to my brother in the same manner. It was absolute lunacy. Unprofessional to say the very least. Very professional and helpful! My landlord tried to make me sign some documents and Coldwell looked it over and told me where my landlord was trying to pull a fast one on me. This office is conveniently on the corner of 5th ave in Bay Ridge I started looking at these really neat lit up signs of listings in the windows, they even had listings going by on a big screen that was nice, as I was browsing a women comes out and asks me "see anything that caught your eye? I'll be glad to help" I say "thanks but just looking" she said "whenever your ready we can sit and discuss your needs over some coffee" we both smiled and I said "sure why not" I went in...to my surprise this place was huge and nice as soon as you walk in very inviting...she was professionally manicured and very helpful. I told her I was interested in finding a new home and that my family was looking to upgrade, going from newlyweds to a family of four, she said "we can definitely help you, but first how do you like your coffee?", I giggled and said "milk 2 sugars thanks!" she popped a coffee in the keurig and came back with my coffee and a little snack, I thought that was really nice. she introduced me to an agent and we went through a couple of listings that she thought might work and she was on the money, we had a few laughs, she didn't pressure me and she made me feel really comfortable. As I looked through the listings a gentleman passed by and she said "Mr. Hamdan I have a potential client that has some interests", she then turned to me and said "this is the broker owner" he came over and said "Welcome, how can we help you?" and he shook my hand. we both then explained my needs to him and he said "we definitely can help you with that and we will be sure to get you into the right home to meet your needs" he came up with a few suggestions I said "great! thank you so much you have a beautiful office and shes really helpful" he smiled and said "Thank you, that's why we're here..to help" I think this office is great they really did help me out and got me in a home that worked out perfect for me and my family and we are so happy.
