Wide variety of freshwater and saltwater fish as well as reptiles and amphibians. Ricky the tortoise is the store "mascot" and can be seen stretching his legs on his rounds meeting and greeting customers. He has an attitude and loves people and attention. The store also provides outcall tank cleaning services that have kept my fish happy!!

We have show dogs and sometimes treat the dogs with a hard bone to chew on. There are a number of places that sell the whit bones sometimes slathered with gravy and the dogs love them. They are very hard and safe for dogs. But PSP has a similar bone that seems to disintegrate and splinter. These bone shards could become lodged in a dogs throat or puncture the stomach or intestines causing bleeding or worse. The pieces end up looking something like splintered chicken bones although these are beef. Seems to me they coul be very dangerous to dogs. I am sure no one wants anything bad to happen to their dog so I would highly recommend not buying this type of bone. The employees didn't seem to care and just stood and stared when we tried to persuade them to pull the bones from the shelves. They seemed rather disinterested in fact and offered no apology for the product. So this is a bad experience from a store I used to like. I hope no one loses a dog because of a splintered bone in the throat.

I was vacationing in Floyd County and started feeding a thin, hungry, sweet stray cat. I was pleasantly surprised to find a No Kill shelter nearby. The PAWS staff were phenomenal about working with me and were ultimately able to take my stray cat for adoption. Everyone I spoke with had a huge heart and was giving tremendously of themselves to help the animals. If you have the opportunity to adopt from or work with PAWS, I can't recommend them highly enough.

The violations include puppies with horrible gum disease, rusty wire enclosures and brown grime, puppies with worn toe pads resulting in pain, expired medications, and puppies with clogged ears. Our family purchased a dog from this farm in 2023 and he had worms. This stunted his growth and he likely would've died if we hadn't stepped in. After curing his worms, he had an undiagnosable cough that lingered for months. PETA stepped in last year to urge the Grundy county attorney to take action and unfortunately they haven't. One other couple was there also. I brought my dog the first 2 lessons but could not go the third week out of six. showed up the fourth week and was told the other people switched to a different day of training. Trainer did not offer to train my dog while I was there for class. I asked for a refund or gift card but manager said he was sure the trainer could help me find another class. None of them worked with my schedule. Did not receive half/3 of the six lessons after paying $149. trainer talked during most of first two lessons with little actual work with the dogs.
