Customer Service does not exist at all and Colder's does not care at all. We bought a Frigidaire gallery on Feb 26 2026 it was delivered March 4 2026. and it stopped working June 27 2026 which is a Saturday. I called in the late morning and the service department doesn't work the person on the phone was of no help... told me to call Monday morning. Uhmmm are you kidding me. The guy kept saying call back. Monday I call to talk to someone who said to call Frigidaire gave me a number.... Told them I need a repair person fair soon and that the refrigerator hasn't been working since sat. We have medication that Needs to be refrigerated the company that was set up to come and LOOK at it Elitech was scheduled for Wednesday July 1. I did call them to get the answering service and left a message which was not answered.. all I got was a verification of the service on July 1. The technician came and said it was a defective motor and he HAS TO ORDER IT. To top it off he said it was going to take 4 to 5 days... THIS IS A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. He also shared that he hasn't ..known of this problem with this refrigerator and he hasn't ever repaired one. I called Colders and told them the problem and that this refrigerator is only 4 months old...and that the part is defective and this is complete ridiculous. All they said was sorry. I said to the lady you do realize it will be almost a week and a half and you honestly think this is ok. These refrigerators are not cheap by any means. Going into the store DID NOT result in anything positive either. Basically sorry again. My advice DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM COLDER'S Read the reviews. Learn from others. I purchased a recliner and extended warranty it broke they fixed it 2 time said they all make noise mechanism broke 3 time within a year needed lot of work dealt with colders and new leaf for 6 months finally said they wont repair and gave me store credi but i had to bring chair to them didn't want anothr chair so i bought 2 dressers and mirror told me they had in stock after paper work said a week to arrive took longer when I picked up unboxed in warehouse and dresser were nicke up glue all over and marker on it so disappointed put hold on remol house to get these in could what any longer acceptable these junk pieces will put in guest room and look elsewhere for better quality will never buy anything from colders again read more

I had an amazing experience purchasing furniture at Colder's. Staff was knowledgeable and professional. Felt like a family business. Warm and cheery showroom with lots of options and styles. Friendly sales people who welcome you, direct you, assist you or even just let you wonder.Every person I interacted with from sales, cashier, warehouse and even management were professional and had a smile. If you're going to read one negative review, please read this one - for your own sake. We had a horrible experience. We were urged by a sales rep, Pinto, to take advantage of the Labor Day sale, which we were happy to do, as he was very helpful and it seemed like a great deal. He quoted our selection, told us it would be delivered in 4-8 weeks, and charged us the next day. Later, after reaching out to the customer support team and Pinto multiple times for status updates, Pinto let us know our selection wouldn't be delivered until after 12 weeks. He then ghosted us and didn't respond for days at a time by email, phone, or text. We went in after a couple of weeks to chat with a manager (Richie). He told us he'd help figure out what was going on, and we were hopeful. The day after speaking to Richie, Pinto finally called us - one month after our initial order was placed - but only to let us know that nearly the entire set of furniture we ordered had actually been discontinued, and Colder's didn't carry it anymore. We continued to reach out to Richie about options to move forward with a new furniture selection and we kept receiving no response and being left on read. Richie would say he needed "one more day" to work on getting things together and then wouldn't follow up. After we were able to work out a new furniture selection, and waiting for the sparse updates on when items would be ready and shipped, the furniture arrived. I already noticed some small chips/defects in the furniture, but I am tired of dealing with this company. They delivered the wrong barstools not once, but TWICE, which ended with us having to drive the incorrect barstools back to their store and pick up the correct ones, defeating the purpose of having comped delivery for our trouble. I waited for a refund on shipping that was promised in September. The refund arrived in December after multiple, multiple reminders from me. The lack of communication is legitimately horrible and frustrating. It felt like they knew they messed up and were already expecting a bad review, and didn't feel the need to try to recover us as customers. If you do business with Colder's, expect no reliable communication on your order, bare minimum help from employees/resources, and long wait times on furniture. The one thing I will note is that the delivery folks who actually delivered and set up our furniture were great, and were fast and nice. While chatting with them about the troubles we've had, they seemed to know this wasn't a one-time thing and this company is known for their unreliability. read more

My sister bought a washer from the scratch and dent section and it did not work. Salesperson said I told you about buying and risks. So she returned and bought another one. She had delivered and they did not hook up right. The delivery company Colders used ended up stealing her money and throwing wallet in bathroom. Colders says not their employees but a company they hire. Colders said they would work with her but ended up being rude and doing nothing. The police also said they could not do anything after talking with the company. The company that came out hooked up wrong so Colders sent their people out. On highway 100 location yesterday we were attacked on entry with a swarm of sales people. We immediately said we were just taking a peek and knew where we were going. The one guy, whose turn it was to sell us something, started following us and told us about whatever sale they were having. We confidently told him we would find him when we had any questions. We were able to get away from him for a bit but he kept popping up everywhere and adding to our conversations. It was so tacky and rude. At one point we were able to ditch him but could feel he was hot on our trail and getting closer and then BAM... "we've got that in several other colors" as he whipped around the corner in front of us... that was the last straw. We made our break for the exit and have no desire to come back. Salesman was helpful. Custom ordered 2 sofas, 3 chairs $$$. 1rst sofa came in wrong fabric.. (ok it happens) return, 2nd sofa was wrong order #. Returned. Next week delivered correct sofa only to see a 4 inch box cutter slice in arm. Would not exchange, but sent their upholsterer to look. He said they would order an entire new arm .. another 5/6 weeks. I had to reach out both times to try to straighten this mess out. No call backs unless I reached out.... Still waiting for the correct sofa for front room, and now waiting for an entire new arm for 2nd sofa. Original order in February. It is now almost June... still waiting. Definitely will not recommend because of customer service. The delivery kid threw the sofa pillows over the cut, I didn't notice until later in the day... The worst and most antiquated sales process. Purchased a couch, loveseat and two side tables. In store purchase took forever. I think buying my house took less time. Furniture delivered as promised but couch was damaged and missing one table. No call from customer service, had to chase them. Two phone calls later, couch was delivered, table was backordered. No phone call when it was back in stock and had to chase them. Two phone calls later, found the table and it is in. Delivery would take two weeks. what? We drove to the store and picked it up ourselves. The first table came assembled, this one did not. Colders offered to assemble and deliver but it would take two weeks. I ordered two appliances on June 6th. While they had one of the two items in stock, the other was a special order. I fully understood that and was aware it would take approximately 6 weeks to arrive. I was given a delivery date of July 17th. The delivery went great, the two guys were very nice and respectful. The appliances looked great. I had paid for them to haul away my old appliances. Perfect! No. Shortly after they left, I noticed the refrigerator wasn't cooling down as quickly as the freezer. I didn't think too much of it that night because like I said, it was cooling just not as fast as the freezer. The following day, the fridge wasn't cooling anymore. The freezer was still cold, less than it had been but still cold. I tried adjusting the temperatures lower and let it sit. Later on, I noticed that nothing was cold. I reached out to Colders to voice my concern and was told they'd exchange it for me. Great. No. That was followed by being told I had to wait for the next delivery date, August 21. Mind you, hundreds of dollars of food and life sustaining medication has gone bad by the time I was finally able to speak with someone and they want me to wait another almost 5 weeks with no refrigeration? In the summer? I have gotten no where with them. I have been placated with "we'll have the routing manager call you" and "we'll send him an email" but have yet to hear from this mysterious routing manager. I'm going on week two with no refrigeration and having to rely on my neighbors to keep my medication cold for me. The lack of care about their customers is a bit crazy. The customer service agent I was dealing with was flippant and had a total disregard for the situation. At this point, I will never use Colder's again. I have never felt more disrespected as a customer. I encourage others to hesitate before purchasing through them. I went with them because of their reputation but I apparently was hoodwinked. We were looking for a new couch and nothing caught our eye and was not impressed with the staff at other places until we stopped there and was greeted by Pinto! We was very upbeat and not pressure and guided us around and let us look on our own until we found something that my wife liked. Do not do business with these people. You will get the worst customer service you can imagine. 1. They damaged my car, small scratch when I went to pick a dishwasher to put in the trunk. 2. They did not install my other products, because in my opinion they were lazy, because the space was a bit small, and they didn't want to take the extra work. They came once and did not install because I did not have a stacking kit for a washer dryer, I assured the store I needed it stacked before I bought it, and they did not include that. So I bought one online which works perfectly fine, fits perfectly, and has 4.9/5 reviews, took measurements and all. They then mentioned that was not the correct one and refused to do the job. I took measurements and the machine also clearly fits the location, tight but fits. I then asked if I could return the product since they did not want to install it after coming to house twice. And since they took so long to even deliver the product, again they did not even told me I had to purchase delivery, I had to go back to the store to ask them to deliver the product. Anyways, because it was 1 day after 1 month, after all this hassle, they are not taking the product back, I essentially cannot return it because they themselves took long. 3. Now I intend to go to a small claims court and sue them. They basically just sell the products, once sold you are basically on your own. Bought a gas stove and refrigerator about a year ago. They had to order stove and said it would take about a month. Refrigerator was in stock but we wanted both delivered together. Stephanie is a terrible sales associate. she bragged to us about her amazing reviews and told us she would keep us updated on everything regarding our order. she stated that she would call us right away when the order came in. and also told us it would be 3 weeks. our order took over 7 weeks to arrive. I called multiple times a week after the 3 week timeframe and the calls went straight to her voicemail every time. I left over 7 voicemails that were all never responded to. she never called me back. I wouldn't buy anything from Colder's in 2025 and going forward. They don't help you at all. I bought a recliner, wanted it to last a long time so I spent over $1,000 on it. It broke in two years and of course I didn't buy the extended warranty because I thought it was going to be quality. But it only lasted two years and then broke. Then I got quoted like $350 to get it fixed. So I threw it in the garbage and bought a new one from Bed Bath and Beyond. Much happier now! After 26 years, our living room couch was in pretty bad shape. Looked around online at what was available at some of the larger local furniture stores. Colders had not one, but two we were quite interested in, and the price was right. Some of the other stores either had nothing suitable, or were rather expensive. Colders even had a cheaper delivery fee than some of the others. So we went to the store shortly after opening time on a Sunday. We got Mike Singer as a salesman and he was awesome. Cool guy, knew the products, and was very low-pressure. We decided on one of the two we liked online, chose a material color, and Mike set up the order to the factory... saying it would probably be 4-6 weeks but could be sooner. 3 weeks later it was at the store and we were called to set up a delivery date. The night before delivery you get a call giving you a 3 hour window in which the delivery will be made. Our delivery guys were Bryan and Josh who couldn't have been nicer or more efficient in getting the couch up outdoor steps, and through two doorways involving 90 degree turns and a low drop ceiling in covered front porch. It takes skill and strength. Very happy with the entire process, and Colders will get our future business. read more

I stopped her looking to replace my sectional couch which cost about $1000 that I stopped at one and found, today about five store stops and I can't find one. After 12 or so years so I was expecting probably double the price with inflation etc. The place has a nice big selection as every furniture store a sales person pounces on you as I walked through the door. I like how my sectional is configured because it works were well in the living room and my home theater so I was looking for the same set up. 99 % of sectionals on the floor in all furniture stores are just the opposite set up with the chase on the wrong end. I did find two that would work but I was shocked at the prices with $8200 and $11200 for material, foam and wood which I thought was crazy because you can but a pretty nice car for that amount of money. With having a cat with claws I needed something more reasonable that she could slowly destroy over time not 8 to 11 grand, not going to happen. It's all over the Internet that furniture has an 80 400% mark up but these prices for West Allis are ridiculous because West Allis is a blue collar town and not Deerfield I'll. read more

My parents purchased 2 of these chairs at the tune of $3000.00. within 3 weeks one of the motors shorted out. they called the west allis store where they were purchased. sent a tech out. tech says they have to order the part. it is now going on a month without a working recliner, meanwhile they bill continues to come to the house. We were new in town and walked into Colders and bought all new appliances. We waited a while to have them delivered because we were remodeling our kitchen. The day they delivered the refrigerator, I had them leave it wrapped because we were going to drape it with plastic and paint the cabinets. The guys did pull some of the plastic off and folded it over. I didn't realize why until we took the plastic down and unwrapped the refrigerator. Not only were there multiple dings but the doors themselves were/are warped and wavy from the factory. They told us they would bring a replacement but what they did was bring different doors which I did not let them install after the guy told me they were just as warped. At the same time they changed the water line and were talking pictures of water damage in the basement caused by the line leaking because according to the plumbers report the installer didn't tighten the water line with a wrench. Their insurance paid for the repairs after I had to keep pressuring them but before that got taken care of the oven I purchased caught on fire! When I called them they said I needed to call Frigidaire about that. Frigidaire said they needed proof of installation because the oven was FOUR years old!! We knew it was a floor model but the four years old part was left out and since the "sale" price is exactly what they are selling the new model for and we didn't take delivery for several months, there really wasn't an advantage for anyone but the sales person who probably got a better commission on it. Frigidaire sent a repair person who immediately realized it couldnt be fixed so Frigidaire said sorry we're not liable it looks like packing material caught on fire. Their insurance company hired a fire investigator to look at the oven and they could not determine the cause of the fire therefore they were not paying for anything. So now, I'm going to have to buy another oven, somewhere else obviously and even though Colders cannot or will not provide a history of that oven-- where was it for 4 years, was it always a floor model, was there packing material inside and above or on the side of the oven drawer that wasn't readily visible, did some packing material fall into the vents, was there anything the end consumer wouldn't know to look for that was forgotten about four years later, was it a return, was there hidden damage, how many times was it moved around or did it ever get moved from store to store and so on and so forth. Meanwhile, instead of sending me a new refrigerator that doesnt look like a kindergarten class played hopscotch on it they claim that Frigidaire is building new damage free, wave free doors but they don't know when they'll get to it and I don't know if this is even true at this point. They gave me an order number but I've not seen paperwork and credibility is hard to come by especially after they initially told me, and I'm not kidding, "it is supposed to look like that". They repeated that again yesterday claiming it was "a look". Meaning it was intentionally wavy. This refrigerator was delivered mid January and it's almost June. We've learned a valuable and costly lesson. Some businesses lack integrity. Some employees of businesses lack integrity. Research. We wish we had but liked the idea of doing business with a family owned business. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere, you likely won't regret it. read more

I've been to a lot of stores in search of a sofa and I have to say that Colder's has not let me down. Yet. I've been back twice now and will probably end up purchasing from them due to the 30/30 sale. With that deep discount, it beats all the other sales I've come across for Labor Day. I did buy a sofa. What I loved the most was that we weren't followed around by staff. We were greeted by a woman, she explained the specials and then said "Come find me when you are ready to ask questions." Every once in a while, presumably looking befuddled by all the furniture tags, someone who was passing by would ask if we needed an explanation. Other than that we were like well-behaved kids in a candy store. Kicking back and really trying to picture how we'd be living on this furniture. Lounging, playing on our phones, sprawling out on the chaise. No one stopped to tell us to get our feet off the cushions or to stop leaning on the arms. My husband and I came back to this store three times in the course of a week and it was the same pleasant do-as-you-will experience. Since furniture costs a LOT, we had to really spend time on it in every way to form a good opinion. When we were ready, we found our original lady and she walked us through the purchase. Picking fabrics, pillows, waffling over extended care, whether we needed extra pieces. It was painless and with humor. She did a great job and earned her commission. If I had one complaint it would be that they have the highest delivery charges of any other store. If it weren't for the fact that it is going to be October when the sofa comes in, and October is notoriously rainy, I would have picked it up myself. The delivery department is thorough too. I have received a call to set an appointment, two calls to confirm the date, and will be notified the day before of my delivery window. My review will stand at 4 stars unless the delivery goes horribly wrong. But for three separate visits to be equally as enjoyable, I will say this place is pretty great. read more

I was in the market for a washing machine and knew what I wanted to buy. I could order it from another store but Colder's was the only store in the area that had one in their showroom. I wanted to see it before ordering it. In fact, the washer at Colder's was a better price. As I was leaving the store, a salesman approached me and asked if I had any questions. (I didn't). He started explaining the problems they had getting certain brands and then went into a very political; very offensive (to me) agenda that was totally uncalled for. When I pointedly stated that I do not discuss politics, he did not apologize but continued with his point. My sister and I turned around and walked out of the store, telling the woman at the counter in the front of the store that they just lost a sale!! I immediately went to the other store and purchased the washer. We were appalled at this man's unethical behavior. If the washer had been $200 less than the one I ultimately purchased, I would not have bought it from Colder's based on this salesman's blatant disregard for my feelings. Have never done business with Colder's based on advice from friends who got burned by them many years ago. Always shopped at Steinhafel's, American (when they were in business) or boutique furniture stores. Never regretted a deal. But Colder's was having a sale, and I couldn't find what I wanted at Steinhafel's. Decided to take a chance. Ordered a sofa and loveseat at a sale price ($4200) in June 2021. After two days of making fabric selections, choosing leg finishes, etc, was told deliveries were behind from the brand name manufacturer (Flexsteel) but the furniture would be made here in the US, and should arrive in early December. Wow. Decided to place the order anyway. December came. Called Colder's. They said maybe sometime in January. My salesperson would call back with more info. No call back. Called a few weeks later. Was told nobody knew when these pieces would be delivered, but my salesperson would call me back. No call. Colder's knows nothing about my order status but they're sure about one thing: there is there is no way I can receive a refund on this. Looked into this with an attorney. Turns out in Wisconsin there is no law that requires a business to deliver a special order. They can literally hold my money until I die or they go out of business as long as they keep stating they intend to deliver. Yes, I can go to court on this, but it's not an open/shut small claims case so it will cost me a lot of money to get my $4200 back. And I'm still without furniture at the end of it. UPDATE: colders reached out to me and offered for me to find a new mattress elsewhere and when I do they will pick up the old one and give me a refund. I've been fighting with colders for months over a very poor quality mattress that they sold me. It's less than a year old and has major deformities yet the "warranty" claim was denied. It's the 3rd mattress they delivered because the first two had holes in them. I have herniated discs in my back and explained to the sales man that I needed a quality mattress, and he sold me this restonic which is honestly junk for the 1300 paid for it I would think it would last more than a year. It's very painful to sleep on this bed. Colders has many bad reviews for this brand of mattress, yet they continue to sell it knowing the restonic mattress is not a quality product. Even if they do replace it I'm sure it will be a cycle of replacing the mattress every year because it's subpar quality, which isn't really a solution. The hoops for the warranty through restonic you have to jump through are ridiculous. read more

I am highly upset with Colders right now. First of all, I have purchased from them in the past and had no issues. BUT, I purchased a full living room set along with the lamps for my mom who is unable to come out and in much need for this furniture. Purchased May 23 & told delivery was going to be around the middle of July. July came & gone, no phone call from Colders with an update. I called in August & was told it would be delivered around mid September and now it is November, still no furniture or phone call & they were paid in full. SO, WHAT IS COLDERS GOING TO DO FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE!!!! We disposed my mom's old set because we were depending on the delivery that we were told, so now she's been without furniture going into 6 months!!!! read more

Hi Colder's, I am having an awful experience with you, I literally purchased a couch with chaise on Aug/3rd and it has been over 2 months and I have not received ANY call from the sales or customer experience team. It is literally the worst customer experience I am having with a Store. I wish at least I would receive a call, but nop. And I just called the store and talked to Nicole from customer experience and all the attitude that she gave me over the phone and it was literally "you have to wait and have a good day"; if your employees are not happy working there, please perform an evaluation, cuz I do not want to be treated that way. read more

I understand times are tough right now, but we paid for a couch, and almost 3 months later we still dont have it or even an expected date. Then we get offered $47 off for our inconvenience....the managers here would rather lose a customer and piss them off than to take a little hit in their profit margin to make a customer happy and correct your wrong. I did my part, I paid for my product and was more than patient...its you that could not deliver on your end, and you were unwilling to make it right. True colors are shown in tough times. read more
