This place is always busy for a reason. Typically I'll see a line out the door. I was surprised to not see it this time but that's probably because it was a Tuesday. It was quick to order and get the ice cream. I can attest Strawberry blonde is so refreshing and crunchy! It's been my favorite flavor here and the ice cream itself has never let me down. It's kinda neat to see the worker make it in front of you too! Inside, there are two small tables. You're better off eating outside. read more

I frequent this location and was shocked when I stopped by during the afternoon and there was no line. I'm used to visiting during the weekend and the line is spilling outside the door and forming near the movie theater. The weather is breaking so I'm sure that'll be the case soon. Anyway, I wanted a sweet treat and decided to get a signature creation instead of my usual chocolate create your own. The ice cream here is just like the other cold stone locations. I ordered a "like it" with peanut butter and reese cups. I received great customer service today at this locations. The staff members were very friendly and inviting. They provided the friendliest service I've had in a long time. I found parking relatively quick in front of cold stone which is unusual for this area. read more

Who doesn't like Cold Stone Creamery?? Last week was very kind to us as it relates to weather. The sun and the vibes warranted a taste of Cold Stone :) I must say I'm quite boring when it comes to ice cream. I don't usually indulge in Coldstone. It often sits heavy because the ice cream is pretty much all cream. But on occasion I get the craving and brave the crowds at the avenue to come get it. I have always encountered friendly staff, and the flavors aren't rediculously diverse, but it's the toppings you put inside that make your ice cream interesting. If you've never been, they scoop the ice cream out and you ask for toppings and they mix it right on the frozen countertop. Kind of an interesting concept. I'd give it 3.5 if I could. We arrived 30 minutes before the posted closing time on 31Dec to learn the owner was kindly allowing his employees to knock off a little early for New Years. Seeing my 11 year old daughter standing dejected by my side, he then unlocked the door and handmade her ice cream dish while his employees finished the close down procedures. In my view, the owner went above and beyond to make a little girl happy and that is worth every one of these 5 stars. read more

This Cold Stone is ALWAYS super busy. The ice cream is always pretty good in my opinion. I always get the same thing, though - Birthday cake remix or a Cake n Shake with strawberries added in. There are better ice cream establishments in Baltimore, but this one is alright if you are in White Marsh and feel like waiting in line forever. read more

I called today to order a cake last minute (my mistake). I spoke with an employee by the name of Tony, he was super helpful. Not only did he try to accommodate me but he contracted another member of the staff to come in just to complete my order. I ordered a custom birthday cake on Dec24th for a 31st Birthday party. I received a confirmation through my email saying white marsh Cold Stone confirmed my order to be picked up 1/1/14 at 12 pm. We arrived at 1:00pm and the cake was never made. I am extremely disappointed as I promised a cake made exactly as my relative ordered. Someone dropped the ball big time. I do appreciate the store member Doing everything he could to make it right. It was not his fault and he did what he could to make the situation a little better. I received my money back and he took my info. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Stick with a bakery. read more

Horrible staff!! Tonight at 9pm, 7 employees behind the counter and only 1 mixing ice cream. A line going out the door and the crew is walking around behind the counter telling each other jokes and moving about as slow as one could possibly move! I walked out. DON'T TRUST THE READY-TO-GO CAKES!! I went in to grab a cake for my fiance's birthday because I know he likes the standard ready-to-go flavors anyway. Wanted something with more mass appeal than the Midnight, and we're so tired of the Cookies-n-Cream compromise. Would have grabbed Cookie Dough, but it has yellow cake and the chocolate cake part is a must. There it was, the "perfect" cake - Mocha Pie Mojo, the Manager's Choice flavor. Sounded awesome - coffee ice cream, cookie crumbs, peanut butter, and - best of all - CHOCOLATE CAKE. Grabbed it, paid for it, didn't get it personalized because I had a tube of frosting at home and a line was forming, it was Labor Day and hot after all. Got it home (the perfect drive for thawing), put on the letters and called everyone in. Sliced into that gorgeous baby and WHAT??? Yellow cake. Epic Fail. Not happy. Why bother doing a special flavor if you can't do what the ingredients say?? Why not mark it out and write yellow cake so that someone knows?? Really disappointed. read more
