This location is busy throughout the day it seems. So be prepared to wait. The workers are nice and they make your ice cream the best way they can for you. It appears they have great friendships and regular customers. The ice cream is always delicious ! It's fresh and they generally always have the toppings you could want! My only complaint is the mix ins aren't always properly balanced / mixed in all the time. It's not consistent among everyone. Sometimes I get big pieces of pecans and they're not even cut. I do get it perfectly done at times too but I wish it was like that all the time. If you don't get mix ins then your fine, they ice cream alone is really good! I like their seasonal flavors too! It's pricey but it's worth it in my opinion. Definitely come and enjoy as eat it at their outside patio. Especially at night! The vibes are immaculate!

Cake batter confetti cake, and caramel nut nirvana cake for the twins' birthday

Cold stone creamery in Redlands is ok. There is nothing special here. I ordered my twins their birthday cakes in advance. Went to pick up. There was only one employee working, which is not cool. The employee was super friendly and welcoming. The inside wasn't dirty, but it needed a wipe down for sure. Unfortunately, on one of the cakes, the purple icing wasn't available, so I had to wait for them to put an alternative color. I picked blue. Like I said, I ordered in advance, so it would have been nice for them to call and ask what color instead of making me wait for them to rush write it. The writing was super messy on both cakes. I don't like complaining, but when you spend 50 plus on each cake, you'd think they'd try to do better. The cakes were ok. The actual cake itself in each one was really dry and not as good as they used to be. Overall, I probably won't come to this location again.

Located in the Citrus Plaza with plenty of parking available, but not directly in front of the store. We were craving something sweet after dinner and this was a short walk from where we just ate. The store was clean when we walked in and there were two people ahead of us. Fortunately, there weee two employees serving the customers so we didn't have a long wait. My son devoured his Oreos and mint ice cream. My hubby's choice was apple pie and I was able to taste a spoonful, which was delicious like eating an apple pie ala mode. I had the strawberry blondie. I love the blend of strawberry ice cream, caramel, crushed graham crackers and strawberries. The employee was nice and fast with his service. We savored our desserts outside in the patio area enjoying the weather before sunset. It was a lovely end of our day out with my family.

Watching the liquid nitrogen ice cream process was seriously cool, such a unique experience. The two women working behind the counter were fantastic; they were super friendly and offered us samples to help us decide (much appreciated because everything sounded so good!). I went with the fresh mint chip ice cream in a waffle cone and loved every bite. My husband ordered a root beer float with a non-dairy salted caramel-type ice cream (can't quite remember the exact flavor name, but it was delicious!). We took our treats to go and enjoyed them while walking to the car, already talking about how unique and fun this spot was. Unique experience, great service, and fantastic ice cream. They were so generous with their portions for a surprisingly low price. I ordered a banana split back then, and they doubled every single scoop! On top of that, the ice cream quality is fantastic; it holds up great and doesn't melt into a soup right away. When I heard they opened a location right here in Redlands, CA, I knew we had to go check it out. The Redlands store did not disappoint! The tropical vibes inside are super fun, and the ice cream and treats are just as incredible as I remembered. We grabbed a loaded banana split and a Dole Whip dessert. It was a very hot Saturday and some ice cream sounded good. The hours posted state they open at 11am. It was 11:30 and the doors were locked, no employees in sight. Odd, as the lights were on, and the sidewalk signs were out. At least 7 other patrons also tried to enter and all of us were frustrated. With the insulting prices they charge, it might be best to be open and serve customers. After reading a lot of negative reviews it looks like a return visit will not happen. Too many other places to get a cool refreshing treat.

Bahama Bucks, the last of its name in Southern California, is, on my opinion, the best shaved ice place. Period. Been to multiple locations on Oahu and Maui as well, and I'll still take Bahama Bucks. And with a plethora of flavorings, and the it's I've tried (Cherry, Strawberry, Mango, Pink Lemonade, Tigers Blood), it just transforms into this luscious dessert. There are also around five different sizes you can get. The small is a good size for I've person, though the regular will be here if you're hungry. Bigger than that and it is made for two people. We ordered a shack burger with caramelized onions, a double shack burger, and the new west coast fries. I actually preferred the regular shack with crispy onions since the caramelized onions made it feel a little heavier. The west coast fries were good but it was a little heavy. The tropical mango shake was definitely my favorite. It was refreshing with the perfect amount of tartness. The tropical mango lemonade was also really refreshing. Shake Shack is one of the most consistent burger chains for me. The food is always solid and the service is quick no matter which location I visit.

Getting Right To the Point: - WILDLY OVERPRICED…read more- MEDIOCRE FOOD. I've said this before and it is worth stating again: I always have a problem whenever I pay for food that I could have made better myself. If it is a matter of convenience, I could even understand that you may pay a little more (e.g. Starbucks McDonald's, etc.). At Shake Shack, we paid $60 for a family of three. We ordered a Shack Burger, Chicken Burger and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Sides were a Onion Rings, Fries and a shake. For the same food at Red Robin, this comes out to approximately $45, for better food and larger quantities. My burger literally fit into the palm of my hand. The chicken sandwich was dry. The rest was OK, but not great. Overall - Red Robin, Famous Dave's and Applebee's easily win over Shake Shack. THE BOTTOM LINE: We would have happily paid $60 for the food. The problem being that, if you're going to charge premium costs, you had better "bring it" with the food. Mind you: right next door is Sosogu Ramen & Japanese BBQ, Amoi Mok Mok, J Riley and the Redlands Public Market - all of whom have better food for lower prices. With average ratings of 3.5 across the board in all locations, I just don't see Shake Shack keeping up with the competition - but this is merely a personal observation. Sorry - just being honest.
