Megan was extremely rude and wanted to get done with the transaction right away. The one who made the ice cream barely added any ingredients to the ice cream. The environment looked dirty, I preferred to eat it outside then inside. And there was a girl just standing next to Megan giving us dirty looks. They were racist as well. Horrible service! read more

Ordered a small ice cream birthday cake for my son. It was excellent! It was priced reasonably, and the quality was excellent. We ordered online ahead of time so it was ready when we got there. Of course, we couldn't help but get some ice cream to go! Love cold Stone creamery read more

I went to this location and it was closed at 10:30 pm. It says here open till 11. At least Handels was opened.

So very disappointed. When I think cold stone, I (use to) think quality- no longer! I ordered my birthday cake 2 days ago, very excited. When I got the cake today, I couldn't help but laugh with tears in my eyes at the absolute POOR QUALITY. Mind you, this cost $40+ AND I even tipped... for what? Not only does it look sloppy, but the bottom layer of cake was completely frozen and inedible. I want to think that this may have been made by someone new, who may still be learning the ticks of the trade, but after reading some of the other reviews, I can't be so sure anymore. Sad. Don't waste your money- Walmart sells a much better ice cream cake for a quarter of the price. read more

Do not order from here. Ordered a cake for pick up 2 days in advance, when I went to pick it up, the workers told me they didn't get my order. Apparently my order came into their system the moment I came in? I even had a confirmation number. When I asked if I could come back later, they said they didn't have the supplies to decorate the cake. When I asked for a refund, the workers told me they weren't able to administer a refund and only their manager could. No manager on-site. I didn't even get my refund. I was very patient and understanding because the workers are teens who don't have control over the system but to not even have a manager on-site leads to very disappointing service. read more

Ordered the February special online today, went down to the restaurant as my order still showed in progress for a solid 10 to 15 minutes. I sat in the parking lot in front of the restaurant, hoping that the status would change to be completed on the app, while I sat there and watched a lady in a crop top and a guy in long sleeves to just come from the bathroom, stand around, digging through the tip jar. We went in to pick up our order and were told there was no more fudge truffle ice cream and no chocolate ice cream for that matter. Why would you allow me to order the ice cream if it's not in stock and why would no one try to contact so we didn't drive all the way down there?? It's just ludacris. And then to top it off, they said they couldn't cancel and a refund would be issued in 3-4 days. Classic. read more

Crazy pricing. I couldn't believe it. I'm unsure if inflation is the cause or what is happening, but that hurts the wallet. Good ice cream, but not worth the price. Service was meh; they get a lot of doordash orders, so you have to fight with those. read more

my review has nothing to do with the food or service quality! the two girls making our ice cream were amazing!! however, it was way too busy on a Friday night to only have two staff members. they were working their butts off and the line just kept building. yall should hire some more staff so that they're not so overworked on the weekends :) read more

[In four part harmony] Ice creeeeeam... ...... Ice creeeam...... ...............Ice creaaaaam... ......................Ice creaaaaaaaaam! Summer nights were made for ice cream, so on a particularly oppressive summer evening after the sun went down I was pleased to take a call from my brother who I'd helped earlier in the day move new patio furniture from the store to his house. I was more than pleased to accept his offer of kind repayment and we set out to Cold Stone to even the bill. It's your standard Cold Stone. Hopping at night. Lots of groups and cute couples. Since I was with my brother and his cute girlfriend I suppose we counted as a group. Which is too bad, because being a cute couple is much more fun than being the third wheel that turns said couple into a group. Why? I dunno. It just seems that way. So I belly up to the stone and order the Founder's Favorite, only it's important to sub in 50% cake batter ice cream for the base. Add some gooeyness, nuts, brownies, and I'm out the door. I wish the outside table wouldn't have stuck to my arm. That's the risk with an ice cream place. As fast as they can dish it out, the public can let it drip. So just keep up the chase after sticky spills and it would go a long way. Other than that, it was a blur of spoonful after spoonful with a brainfreeze chaser. Totally satisfied. read more

We waited in a slow-moving line for so-so ice cream. It took roughly a half hour to order! The flavors tasted artificial and had an off putting foamy texture. The waffle cup that my ice cream was in went soggy quickly, so I peeled it off and threw that in the trash. This location seemed really understaffed, the tables were dirty, the floor didn't look very clean, and our table's napkin dispenser was completely empty. Chairs all over the place. It looked sloppy. I rate this experience "just okay." read more

Visited here saturday night and the place was packed! A line almost out the door and they only had one badass employee working! Emma killed her job. The service here was impeccable. They were slammed with a huge line when I came in, but they still did their job with a smile and with great service. The girl who helped me, didn't get her name, but she has her hair dyed partially purple... she was so accommodating to my creation. The guy who rang me up put the amount left on my gift card. Sometimes, it's just the little things that really make the experience worthwhile. Cold Stone's is basically the same anywhere you go, so this review is more for the service and help that I received. I got a Strawberry Blonde, added some sweet cream ice cream to the mix, and also bananas. The bananas really made the Strawberry Blonde that I always get way better. read more

So dissatisfied with the service at this cold stone. Is there ANY customer service training for these kids....? Great place for ice cream. I've been here 4-5 times over the past year, and my experience had been good every time. The ice cream here is great. Personally, I like their Founder's Favorite ice cream. This place was packed with a line out the door on a Friday night at 9:30 pm. The small store doesn't really have the capacity to handle the crowd or any real decent seating options. But most people would do anything for a little sugar. I would say that the ice cream quality is average here. The topping selections and the waffle are what make this place. That and the ice cream cakes!! Check in on Yelp for a free waffle!!! That is worth a bonus review star right there. read more

The ice cream was delicious but we were very disappointed that we were not allowed to order three flavors in an "everybody size." We love Coldstone and have been faithful customers at various locations across the country for years. The employees at this location were kind and clearly were just doing their job...but we found it very frustrating that we were not allowed to order what we wanted or even allow us to pay extra to let us order what we want. This restriction is enough to deter us from ever going to Midvale Coldstone again. read more

our ice cream was delicious, but other ice cream in the case looked like it had been melted and refrozen. that is not the worst part about our visits. Everytime we visit the employees seem to go downhill. Today we visited and there were 2 people in front of us. After standing there for 15 minutes and the people in front of us were still not helped, they rang the bell and the employee let them know that the manager would be there soon, but the manager never came out. We saw him sitting in the back doing nothing. There was 1 employee walking back and forth appearing to do anything besides help the customers, and poor Jason doing as much as he can, but he was slower than mollasses in winter. Finally after 30 minutes of being ignored Jason made our ice cream, but the manager stayed in the back and glared at us while he sat. If whoever owns this would like to finally give up, then please respond so we can meet up. I would be happy to take it off your hands. read more

I have never received such poor service. When I arrived there was a hug line which is fine but after standing in this line for a half hour I realized why. Three people working, one doing Togo orders and two supposedly taking orders and cashiering. Both of these boys disappeared multiple times into the back room or bathroom numerous amounts of times. These kids either need to be trained on how to run this Business or they need to get someone in there that knows what they are doing. Specifically on Saturday nights which I would expect better service. I will not be coming back to this location nor referring anyone here. I hope this review helps and opens some eyes because they are going to be loosing a lot of business. Thank u read more

Went here yesterday with some friends. Poor girl was by herself and it got really busy but she handled it well. You prob shouldn't go into these places and be in a hurry anyhow. I ordered the founders favorite because it's my favorite and added bananas! It.Was.So.Good! Try it people. Cold stone is great. Almost anything you order will satisfy, depending on your mood. It's pretty unique the way they put it all together for you (on a huge "cold stone" slab). Fresh ingredients mixed with the tasty ice cream after you order. Served in a cup or waffle cone or in a waffle cone inside of a cup. Check-in to this location and you get a waffle cone in a cup upgrade for free. If you want good quality ice cream, come here. I mean it's ice cream. You can't screw that up, but where you can separate yourselves from every other store is in your customer service. This location employs teens that couldn't care less and it shows. I get it, it's a part time gig and you're 17 and have better sh*t to do that scoop ice cream to annoying adults and their kids. At least the teens working down the road at zupas serve with smiles on their faces and at least try. The employees here didn't know the menu well, didn't make any recommendations, didn't explain how it all worked. I havent been to a cold stone since 2008 and my experience at this location served as a reminder why. read more

Overall, Coldstone is okay, not bad but also, not fantastic. Their ice cream and milkshakes are my favorite on their menu. However, my review is more about their ice cream cupcakes which I recently acquired a 6 pack for $10; 2 cake batter, 2 sweet cream , and 2 double chocolate, these are the only variety they come in without doing a custom order. I was disgustingly shocked with the taste of these cupcakes, especially since there's not much I love more than cupcakes and ice cream. They start with a dark chocolate "cup" that the entire thing sits in, it is nasty and has not much flavor. Next, is a chunk of cake, the only options are red velvet, chocolate, or vanilla and they're dry and bland. Next, there is some chocolatey fudge underneath the actual ice cream (on custom orders, you can pick any flavor). The cake batter had red velvet cake and cake batter ice cream, the sweet cream had vanilla cake and sweet cream ice cream, and the chocolate had of course, chocolate and chocolate. They were then topped with some sort of nondairy whipped topping, like the nasty shit you find on a kid's birthday party cake. It's really greasy and disturbing. Overall, they were too sweet and gross, they were pretty bland and just badly combined. Just get a milkshake instead and pass right over these guys! read more

have been a cold stone fan favorite for years and came to this location tonight to get the worst customer service ever, the girl with the glasses and piercings that was supposed to be helping us was completely mean and had an awful attitude. Who hasn't experienced stone cold. I had the vanilla ice cream with yellow and chocolate cake. And I loved it. Got my sweet fix.

First of all what kind of ice cream place is "out of milk"? What about those of us who drove to get a shake? Ridiculous.

I'm 9 months pregnant, so I've been to this cold stone several times recently and every time is a bad experience. I should learn my lesson and stop coming, but I can't help my cravings! If you decide to do in person and stand in line and wait, you'll easily be here for 30-60 minutes even with only a few people ahead of you. Because of this I learned to just order online and pick it up to go. You'd think that would be faster, right? NOPE!! From the time I placed my order and got to the store was at least 20 minutes. I STILL waited 25 minutes for them to give me my order!!! I was acknowledged a couple of times standing under the "to go" sign and still stood there for 20 minutes. This place only employs teenagers, which is fine, but they obviously need an adult for some sort of management and structure! If I place an order online, I don't expect it to take 45 minutes to receive my order! Horrible service. read more

Gross! The owners here are so cheap they can't provide their employees with gloves? Literally saw the employee's hand touching the ice cream after touching his hair. Long have I wanted to get to this place, but something kept getting in the way. It wasn't the same something every time, but there was always an intrusion here or there. In a way, it's upsetting, as I could have enjoyed the wonderfulness that much more, but in a way it's good as I could have enjoyed the wonderfulness that much more and how much bigger and fatter do I need to really get anyway? They do a great job, chain or not and though I think the cones are something I could do without, the actual dessert stuff itself is the stuff of legend, just fantastic, across all the flavors but particularly the sweet cream. I back it and now that I finally know what I'm missing, now have further temptation to fight. And so it goes... read more

We waited for about 10 minutes on a busy Saturday night before ordering ice cream. I had the mint mint chocolate chocolate, which not surpassingly was super chocolatey!
