Cold stone has always been a solid chain. I will say I have to avoid most of the toppings as it makes it to sweet for me, but overall an enjoyable experience! read more

I love cold stone for many reasons. They are simple, consistent, and not too pricey. I absolutely love how creamy the ice cream is. Nothing truly compares to their ice cream! The inside is usually tidy. The only negative thing I could say is that lately the night staff has been quite rude almost to shoo away customers. I know cold stone is good for its brand but the employees at night are definitely starting to tarnish the cold stone name. Hopefully they either rehire or re enforce the brand name. Either way I'd say it's worth a go to come to cold stone. read more

My daughter had a $10 card she's had for 3 years. It was hot as hell so we finally decided to use it! We got a regular size in a waffle cone with the Strawberry Blondie - it was made perfectly! We got our order quickly and with a smile. When we walked in there was a group of easily 12 little kids but the wait was minimal. They did a great job keeping up!! read more

It was our anniversary and we both wanted something simple tonight so we went to a near by ice cream place! The line wasn't long at all and we got an ice cream each, my partner got a love it which is the medium sizing and it was HUGE! I got a like which is like the small and it was still big but we could have shared his and been fine. The workers were nice and pretty quick serving people. We are glad we picked this place to come and enjoy some ice cream read more

Quick service and delicious ice cream! Do not recommend the gummy bears as they were hard as a rock in my kids bowls...but overall experience was great. read more

When we first arrived Cristian got our order, we wanted a cup with cheesecake and chocolate devotion (our favorite flavors). He seemed to be having a bad day because he had a tough attitude, we've been to several Cold Stone locations and always order the same thing and it's always the same procedure. This time Cristian made it difficult for us and kept asking us about a size without any explanation. It's the first time a Cold Stone asks for a size and he kept looking at us in an ugly way. His explanations were very vague and unprofessional. The ice cream didn't have any cheesecake, just chocolate. Wouldn't recommend this location and wouldn't recommend Cristian getting your order. Employer please keep this in mind before it affects your business. P.s The girl that was working on his same shift was really great. read more

Went to Cold Stone in San Antonio Texas for a late night snack and the place for pretty packed. There a was actually a line. This is absolutely my favorite stop for Ice Cream. I got my ultimate favorite Oreo Cookie Overload which is so delicious. My nephew got Peanut Butter Overload such he loved. My brother got Mudpie Mojo which Ive have myself and it is also really good, and My sister-in-law got Peanut Butter Perfection and substituted the regular ice cream with banana ice cream. That one was really really good. I may have to get that one next time I go. The staff was courteous and polite and took our orders quickly with no hesitations. We had a Cold Stone Creamery in Lake Charles La but they closed it. Hoping one day they will make it back. Great experience, Great Service and Delicious Ice Cream. read more

They've got new people went and service was great and my Heath was perfect! One thing I'm not going to do is lie on a review because I'm also a customer. I just seen where I got a 3 paragraph response from probably the person I spoke about telling me to use correct grammar lol. I can speak how I want but to provide yucky service to someone who is paying is another thing. Glad they got new people because I love Cold Stone! read more

The ice cream here is great and I especially like that you can create your own concoction. What I dont like about this location is tht I have went here about 5 different times and NONE of the workers wore gloves. The workers were polite. There was one worker a young black lady and she had a dangly bracelet on... the whole time she was mixing my icecream order I was looking to see if her bracelet which was dangerously close to my ice cream would dip in. It was so nerve racking. read more

Delicious ice cream!! So many different flavors. Cold Stone never disappoints. The flavors are so unique and creative. They offer a couple of size and waffle cones also. I love how they mix the ice cream on an actual cold Stone right in from of you. Always a great treat if you have a sweet tooth. read more

My husband, brother, and I came late Sunday evening since we were craving something sweet (and this place happened to be open later which worked in our favor). I got chocolate and French vanilla with various toppings- it was delicious! It took me some time to finish but it was good quality. They did have seating inside and required wearing masks. read more

I just recently left the establishment and I'm torn on my review. There was one guy working the counter and the way he went about serving me was interesting. I ordered 4 or maybe 5 things and I was the only one in the building. It took him 20+ min from the first ice cream to the last. He would make waffle cones in between my order which inadvertently made the first 2 orders start melting a bit early. It went something like... I ordered my first ice cream then he would put a waffle on the machine. Then take my second order and but work on the waffles then start it and this would repeat till the end of my order. I was going to just leave but I had ordered for other people and we really wanted the ice cream for our break. Sadly, by the time I got to my location the first two were half melted... and the rest were getting there. On a good note.. the ice cream that didn't melt was still good. read more

I came here on Friday night and it was pretty busy since people were buying cakes for Mother's Day and the movie theaters nearby was packed. I was very pleased that they were open until 11pm because I had a late night craving for sweets. There were three young guys working that night and they were very patient with everyone and was extremely friendly. This was a big plus because the last time I visited this location, the young girl working was a bit rude to a big group since she was the only one working. I understand it could be frustrating being there by yourself but her attitude wasn't the greatest. I ordered a gotta have it birthday cake remix and a mud pie mojo. They didn't disappoint! The birthday cake remix had just the right amount of brownies and sprinkles in it and the Oreo and peanut butter in the mud pie mojo was a perfect blend. Honestly the gotta have it size is big enough for two people so you can ask for an extra cup to split it. Their prices are reasonable compared to Marble Slab Creamery. I will definitely be back. read more

Hot summer night and Cold Stone, that's a perfect combination. Walked inside perfect timing as well. After we got our delicious treat and sat down, noticed the line was all the way to the door. Service for us was quick, very responsive and sociable while preparing my dessert. Ordered the "Love It" with cake batter and Heath Bar crushed in. Terrific buttery flavor in the ice cream. Very smooth and definitely tastes like creamy cake batter. Combined with the crushed Heath Bar, tasted amazing. It was a delightful way to end a long Saturday. read more

I'll never go to this location or the location at the Rim since they "have the same boss" from what I'm told. First off I called this location around noon to ask if a cake could be set aside, and the words Happy Birthday written on it. I was told by a young lady that her boss has to write the words but he is in and the cake will be set aside, ready to go an a hour. I stopped by in the evening to find that the cake was set aside but nothing was written on it. A different member of the staff told me that the "boss" has to write Happy Birthday and that they are not in after 1ish.... I was told that normally they need 24 hour notice to write Happy Birthday on a cake. Now I'm fine with all of that but tell the customer when they call... don't tell me that the "boss" can do it, when they really cannot. I could have gone elsewhere, because I did have a plan b in case. My issue here is no accountability at all.... all I got was the girl from earlier should have told you that.... well she did tell me and in fact said the boss was there.... again no accountability. I've been going to cold stones for a long time so ice cream isn't the issue... good customer service is. Won't happen again... I can get ice cream cakes at other places. read more

Stopped by after an early dinner for a treat for the kid. Got her the waffle cup with sprinkles and cotton candy ice cream with gummy bears for 6$. Too sweet for me, although truthfully I really like HEB's ice cream creations lol the girls working there were just ok.. 1 was pretty friendly talking about shark week themed ice cream, but none of them offered suggestions for cravings or new ideas. And one of the girls I felt was down right curt. Not a terrible experience since we were in the neighborhood but not worth leaving the house for. read more

Being new to the San Antonio area, I didn't know where to buy a birthday cake so on the day of my birthday, we just picked up a cake from Coldstone. I'm not fond of sweets but I am a sucker for red velvet and ice cream which is exactly what the Cake Batter Confetti is. The cake wasn't too sweet like Baskin Robbins and the small cake was a perfect size for 6 people with extra left over since we all aren't really sweet eaters. The staff was really nice and even squeezed Happy Birthday Jessica on my little cake. It was fairly busy inside with only 2 employees working but they still gave great customer service. Overall, the cake was delicious and I already want to come back to try their Valentine's Day special. read more

I bought my mom an ice cream cake from here for her birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The cake I got her was Strawberry Passion - red velvet cake layered with strawberry ice cream. SO GOOD. The other options available also looked amazing - Midnight Delight, Cookie Dough Delirium, Cake Batter Confetti, and Cookies & Creamery. Staff was nice and helpful. My one complaint is that everything at Cold Stone is really pricey. The 'small' cake I got was over $25. read more

Just there 20mins ago, i asked if they were closing and they said yes. i was with my children and wife, this was at 938pm 22mins before closing. I got back in my car and looked up other places for snacks. Two other people walked in and they greeted them and served them ice cream. i called them and let them known how i felt. The guy who answered the phone said "alright". Not sure if it was racially motivated, since they were all caucasian and they let the two caucasian people in. A girl is the one who told me they were closing. Very unprofessional... especially when i have my 4 and 2 year old with me. I will be calling the manager on 2/6. Hopefully the one at the Rim will have better customer service and not allow certain people in. read more

I remember my first introduction to the frozen slab, mix in craze when visiting a friend at Baylor back in the late 80's. It was Marble Slab Creamery that I remember but since their quality has somewhat waned it is they that I have since forgotten. Cold Stone has picked up the mantle and driven forward with quality hand crafted ice creams, delicious mix ins and original Cold Stone Creations that take the guess work out of needless decision making while your salivary glands are working overtime. Some of our favorites include; Cake batter ice cream with Kit Kat's, Sweet Cream with strawberries, Cinnamon ice cream with graham crackers, Rum with raisins and Bubble Gum with sprinkles. Can you tell which one the little girl orders? That's right the Rum. Cold Stone also makes the best ice cream cakes for special occasions such as our house favorite, The Strawberry Passion , that combines red velvet cake and their rich creamy strawberry ice cream with a graham cracker crust. Fantastic. My son and I can't wait to get our one and only piece of this cake whenever a birthday rolls around. To the Creamery! read more

I like cold stone -- but here they got the strawberry blond wrong by using whole frozen solid strawberries and not chopping them. Also the whipped cream and strawberry ice cream were ended together... read more

Always great service. Wish they had an infant changing station in the bathroom. Just like every other cold stone we have been to.

I got to Cold Stone right as it reached 10 pm and their open light was still on. As soon as I opened the door (which was still unlocked) they told me to leave. There were still some people who were there and hadn't ordered yet but they really couldn't take in a couple more customers? The woman who told us to leave was being so rude and unnecessary, I wish I had gotten her name. She definitely could've handled the situation differently. read more

This place is really classy. Other ice cream places can be a little dirty looking or just look low budget but this place is really nice. I got sweet cream and added chocolate and berries to it. Yall, it was sooo good. I got it in the "love it" size and I ate it all with no remorse in my bones. The reason why they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because I came in EXTRA thirsty one day (come on, its TEXAS) and I asked for water and do you know what the guy behind the counter did? Lol this guy goes to the sink and gives me warm faucet water. Didn't even add ice cubes for my relentless thirst lol. I'd expect this from useless baskin robins, not cold stone. read more

The chic with the teal hair and septum ring has a bad attitude. Never welcomed a customer as they came in and had a very loud, very inappropriate conversation in front of customers. She rarely smiled and just overall seemed to hate her job. The other girls seemed more upbeat and did most the work. I'd call her a bad seed. But....ice cream is great. read more

When it come to frozen deserts, I love it just as much as the other guy. Ice Cream, Pizza, Sex... It is all the same. There is no bad ice cream, only crappy service. What I found at the Cold Stone Creamery was just that (covered in whipped cream and a cherry). I found the ice cream to be marginal, but satisfied the crave. To top it off, they are a bit on the pricey side. read more

This is the best place to get ice cream near me. The pricing is fairly reasonable for the quality and size of the serving. However, I was greatly disappointed during a recent visit. It was Saturday night, and there were only three employees on duty. With about 15 people in line ahead of me when I arrived, I waited 30 minutes before it was my turn to order. I have visited this location numerous times and can say that a lengthy wait time on Friday and Saturday night is not unusual. All I ask is that management schedule more employees to work on these busy nights. read more
