My review today is not good because the check-out clerk was rude and it's the second time she's been rude to me. She had really short dark brown hair and wears glasses. This would have been around 9:15 or 9:20 when I checked out. My receipt says Tam is the name but I didn't get a look at her name tag. I really don't like giving bad reviews especially when the store always looks clean and I can usually find what I need but I think the rudeness needs to be addressed. Hopefully a supervisor can have a conversation with the worker.

We were eating at another establishment in the parking lot for lunch and needed to get a couple of grocery items afterward. It was an easy walk across the parking lot to the store. There are two entrances to choose from, and the standard grocery store set up with produce, bakery, isles of products, etc. We searched through the store, but they didn't have what we were looking for, so we opted to leave and look elsewhere. They had interesting decor with the giant cowboy boot in the entry, and the store seemed busy with the check out registers having lines waiting to check out.

Headed to Reno, Elko is just about half way and there a Maverik station here. It took around $120 to fill this thing. This Maverik is not exactly right off the freeway, but I like these stations cause they have a huge store attached with clean restrooms and a ton of road food or even real food like burgers and stuff I think. I just needed to fill my big thermo coffee mug and get some Funyons and Doritos! Yeah, road food. I do have other people to drive as well so I'm not stuck driving the whole way. The gas pumps scan the credit card with no problem and that's better than some of these cheeepie off brand places where you don't know if there's some credit card scam going on. We all used the restrooms and climbed back into the Suburban and off we go, maybe we can make it all the way to Reno without stopping.
