Good as always! I got there about 15 minutes before close and the staff was very friendly. My favorite is their Mud Pie Mojo with coffee ice cream, peanut butter, and Oreos I've been coming here for years and their quality is consistent.

Took my granddaughter to try the black Halloween ice cream and to get myself one of their huge delicious caramel apples. The ice cream was cake batter with food color to make it black, pretty cool, tasted good too. The Apple was disappointing, started out good, but getting towards the the middle tasted like mold, very disappointed for the hefty price tag. Guess I will be finding other places for my apples, didn't go back as I live 30 minutes from them

My boyfriend convinced me to get Cold Stone one night so we got two larges in waffle cones. We ordered through the drive thru microphone while the employee was telling us that he couldn't hear us too well because the headset was terrible. It took awhile to get the order and when we did they were given to us in bags. Figuring the order would be correct since it cost $15 with tip, we drove off. On the way home, my boyfriend checked his and it was sideways and leaking through the bag (see pictures) and when I got home, mine was the wrong flavor. Super upset, we called and were told we would get free ones next time. When we got there to claim our free ones about a week later, the employee was very dismissive and questioned us a lot even though we were told our name was written down as a note for the next time. Both times we've been here in the past few weeks, the males we dealt with were extremely unfriendly. Anyways, get home and my boyfriend is missing an ice cream flavor in his and they weren't larges. Overall, disappointed in our experience both times and decided Dairy Queen or Annie's will be better. I hope this review helps to reform the service and accuracy of this premium ice cream spot.

[As of 30 May 2021]…read more Another outing for a sweet treat. RESTAURANT: This creamery is easy to get to, right down the road from SIUE. Keep your eye out for Imo's pizzeria because it's connected to it. The shop is spacious enough for a good size crowd. There is also a very large patio for outdoor seating and mingling. I would have figured there would be speakers posted for some light music. Patrons can enjoy the music of nature. STAFF: As soon as we entered, we were casually greeted by two ice cream shop workers. The cashier was able to easily answer my questions about the uniquely named flavors i.e. Bride of Frankenstein and Superman. It took only a few minutes for our ice cream to be served. FOOD: The wife and I ordered two small cups. She did the lemon bite with waffle pieces and strawberries. A perfect combination. The strawberries aren't loose and chopped, but a jelly. That's a nice change of pace! I got the trusted strawberry with M&Ms. Next time I'll go without those and do more strawberries! Nonetheless, it still was good eating. Take a drive out to Edwardsville and sit under the sun with a cool delight. fin.

Review Visit: June 1st, 2014…read more Annie's may or may not have any Frozen-branded custard on sale. While on one of our many trips to Edwardsville to hang out with our college friends, they casually recommended we try out Annie's for some sweets and delights. Next thing I knew, we were hopping in a car with our hangovers and hitting the road. Annie's, from what I remember, is like any other town's ice cream shack that is open year round. They offer your quick but yummy food options, such as: hot dogs, custard, sundaes, pie, and various other sweets. During our visit, we all snagged a few small things. Nursing some hangovers, we all gravitated towards the greasy offerings versus the cold stuff. Chili dogs were what we picked and snacked on, except for the one friend who was feeling 110%. She got some ice cream to go. The chili dog was decent but nothing to write home about. It definitely hit the spot. As for the interior, I don't remember much about it. The little that I do recall doesn't strike me as overly impressive but also not lacking. There were tables to sit at and ample room should it be busy during the summer hours. I wish I could have more to put in this blog post but since this was the only time we came here and it was after a fun night, this is all about it. Also, sadly, my friends have moved away from Edwardsville, but that doesn't mean I won't try to swing by it again on my way to St. Louis some day. If and when I do, I will try to update this post to reflect new photos and experiences.

I had the Carolina dog and my husband had the chili dog. Two thumbs up for both! I also had a…read morestrawberry shortcake sundae! Perfect summer treat!

They handled each customer with care. They didn't rush me. I know i took too long to decide. After finishing my order I kept adding to it. I had to hurry and leave tge building before I added even more to the order. I ended up with 4 delicious cupcakes and a gooey butter cake. Everything was so good. The gold rush was the last cake that I purchased. I had completed my order. But got back in line to get it. 2 ladies told me that I can go ahead of them. I told them I already ordered and I'm ordering again. I initially got 3 vanilla butter cream cupcakes. Then I saw the gooey butter cake. I asked the young lady to add that too.. My coworkers placed their orders. Their desserts are kind of pricey. At least they are on my opinion. But they are very good. Of course there's parking out front.

Yesterday, Sophia my little fur-baby had a vet appointment that was just a block away. Being a good dog dad, I made sure she arrived early. In fact, we were so early I had time to kill so I made a stop at, The Cup. To my delightful surprise, they had a special on two of my favorite flavors and they were combined into one cupcake. I love lemon & raspberry. The cupcake was called, Spring Fling. It was a lemon cake, with Raspberry cream cheese frosting and a raspberry filling. The cake was moist and soft. Most importantly, the frosting was not overly sweet and did not overly dominant the cake. It was just the perfect amount of topping. The lady working the counter was attentive and made friendly conversation. I was glad to see that they are part of the, Gift-A-Meal program and that they offered Student Discounts to those who attend SIUE. That's community supporting community.
