I'M NOT SURPRISED TO SEE SO MANY BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THIS SHOP. Today was by far the WORST experience I've ever had at this shop. There was only one person working, so we waited several minutes just for 3 cups of ice cream. My husband politely asked for a refund for my ice cream because the Cheesecake flavor had absolutely NO taste--ZERO flavor--it was clearly wrong. Instead of fixing the issue, the worker just told us to pick another flavor. After waiting again, she unbelievably asked me to pay for it again. I refused. She insisted that the flavor she gave me was Cheesecake, but I stated very clearly that I KNOW 100% what Cheesecake ice cream is supposed to taste like--I buy it every week, and it's the only flavor I like. This was definitely NOT it. To make matters even worse, she refused to refund me AND refused to give me a proper replacement. That is completely unacceptable. What kind of customer service is this? We paid for 3 ice creams, I left the one merely untouched, and yet she still wouldn't make it right. This is not just bad service--it's unprofessional, disrespectful, and shows they don't care about their customers at all. I've been to several Cold Stone Creamery shops and NEVER, not once, had an issue like this. How can you treat a family this way when all we wanted was to enjoy a simple treat and a happy moment together? What a complete disgrace. I will never return to this location, and I strongly warn others to think twice before wasting their money here--or at the very least, TASTE THE FLAVOR before you buy it. read more

This is the most horrible Cold Stone i've ever been to. The fat man decided to mop while the customers were still here and made the entire floor slippery. A child fell on the floor on the fat man decided to laugh. They don't add any toppings in even when you request for more because the fat man wanted to eat all of them. read more

We stopped in here after dinner the other day. The young man in this photo was extremely helpful and very friendly. He also helped my kid pick out a new flavor and let him test a couple out first. This day in age it's hard to find people who are actually customer focused. It's nice to see that Cold Stone Creamery doesn't have that issue. Thanks again for a great experience. One of the employees was pretty good but the other one looked annoyed to be working at all. The "annoyed" one, didn't seem to understand my order and after I asked again she looked completely lost. The good one picked it up right away. The ice cream was ok. I got my ice cream and both employees ran off and I didn't get napkins. I reluctantly took some that another customer had left that looked wrinkled but otherwise unused. read more

I was recently here and two employees helped me. One was very nice and quick while the other had only given me half of the order that I had asked for. When I asked about the other order he said that he would be getting it now but then continued to play in the cleaning water and help other guests instead. I had already paid for my order and was just waiting on the one ice cream that I hadn't received. When he finally gave it to me it was so messy and half melted. It was a Sunday and I was driving my 2 year old granddaughter up to Dayton. We stopped at the #coldstonecreamery in #centerville. I wanted to get my daughter who was out of town a special treat. We both want to try the #luckycharms ice cream. I had called the the store to confirm their location in mall & asked if they were still selling it. It turns out that I could buy a small, medium or large signature creation or a 32 ounce carry out carton. The large size is 14 ounces. I decided to get 2 of these but I was concerned it would melt on the way home. The offer to place my order in their deep freeze at -32 degrees until I pick it up so kind and helpful. The store was just around the corner. There were two employees in the store and my wait was short. I received a friendly greeting and was quickly at the checkout counter. The ice cream counter was a beautiful assortment of flavors to behold and my 2 large signature creations with travel lids were super cold. When I finally tasted the #luckycharms ice cream a few nights later it was rich & creamy with sweet marshmallows mixed in it just like the cereal. However I felt that there were just not quite enough marshmallows in it. When I was kid I used to try to save the Marshmallows in my bowl to the end for one glorious last bite! I received great service at this #coldstonecreamery location. I hope to get this ice cream flavor again next time they sell it but I'll be sure to ask for more marshmallows to be mixed into it. The staff is friendly and it's a good place to go in the area for ice cream. Since it's not summer yet the lines were short and it wasn't crowded at all. I've had good experiences at every Cold Stone location other than this one. I contacted Cold Stone via their web site concerning employees at this location being seemingly untrained on how to prepare menu items, which resulted in my receiving an item that was prepared completely incorrectly and thus inedible. I also explained that the experience from start to finish was very disorganized and the employees seemed as though they were there to hang out with friends rather than do their jobs. As I said before, this is the first negative experience I've had at Cold Stone and was rather surprised. I received a response from Lara Ullery apologizing for the negative experience. She asked if I would like to be mailed coupons, to which I responded yes and provided my address. This was in June and I still have not received the coupons. Customer satisfaction is obviously not important to this particular franchise location. read more

This Cold Stone used to be great (about six months ago)... What happened!? I went in one Saturday a couple of weekends ago and was helped by a middle-aged blonde woman, whom I assume is the owner. She was very rude and it seemed as if she had no idea what she was doing. The crew before was great yet a lot of them have disappeared. I give them two stars because of the crew, they're great!
