Icee cream date with Sarah this past Sunday. She had the cookie dough and I had a combo of vanilla and strawberry. The shop was very clean and the ladies were super nice who waited on us and very knowledgeable about the flavors and offered us to taste try several different kinds. It was a nice treat on a Sunday afternoon.

This ice cream location is pretty clean and the staff are friendly. The prices are a little steep but it's worth a try if you have not been here. They have some great seasonal flavors, offer pints to go, and have cakes. You can sit inside or outside and there is plenty of parking in the shared parking lot. You get to sample the mini flavors unlimited samples. I quite like the founders favorite. Hope you enjoy!

So I thought I would give this another try because I generally have liked Cold Stone over the years, but my experience at this location often leaves me disappointed. I ordered a large apple pie dessert. There were two young ladies who prepared our first four desserts perfectly and then out walk a young man who then proceeds to take my request and half prepared the last dessert, my dessert. He barely mixed any of the toppings. All of the apples were on top in large chunks and nothing on the bottom. He was messy and did not try to make it appealing.

Ice cream was good and folks working here were nice. Bummer that we couldn't sit inside but COVID doesn't allow it. The person mixing mine seemed to be new which is fine but wish it was mixed a bit more and not just patches of graham cracker. Overall, good stuff.

Melted Like It. Smallest serving EVER. Legit finished this in 6

This is the worst Cold Stone I have ever been to. Not only was my Like It the smallest ice cream ever, but the service was just horrible. Young man was so slow and the young lady left me at the register without saying anything to me and started helping the lady after me. They both walked to the back room and my ice cream was melting at the counter. I finally had to get their attention to check me out. Best Cold Stone and most amazing serving for the costly dessert, Oxnard,

This place always smells like dirty mop, the floors are solid grease, and the tables are filthy.

I've been coming here for 2 years now and it's always filthy. The inside smells like dirty mop and the tables and chairs are ALWAYS disgusting and sticky. If there is a line, I'll leave because waiting in the cloud of dirty mop fragrance will ruin my appetite. I like the ice cream, but please clean up Blakeney Cold Stone!

Please take note of winter hours!

Cold Stone Creamery, first let me say that your ice cream is delicious. Your establishment is clean and your prices are fairly reasonable but your customer service is not up to par. I patronized this location twice in the past month and my first experience was fine. I had the waffle cone with chocolate ice cream with peanut butter and brownies and my two daughters had the Oreo ice cream in a waffle cone and though we cringed a little at the price, which was around 7 plus buck, we found that it was worth it as an occasional treat. Now, what I didn't like. It's Halloween and my teen says, "Mom, i just want to go somewhere and have ice cream. Can we go to Cold Stone?" And being the good mother that I am, I say yes! We checked the yelp app to see the closing time and I was surprised that it said 10pm because that seemed kind of late so I called to double check. I was told on the phone that it was 9:30 and sure enough there was sign that had winter hours listed and they indeed were closing at 9:30. But not only did the yelp app give us the hours but we also noticed that they had a check in offer of 10% off your order and when I showed it to the cashier she said we couldn't use it and that they only accepted coupons from the CSC website. She also said that the offer had to be for that specific location and I showed her that it was. She was still baffled and mentioned that she had never seen a yelp check in offer before and I let her know, again, that it was yelp and that I wasn't making this up and they were the ones who would have had to put it on there. She said that she wouldn't honor it and that it was "Only 50 cents!" Yes, she said that! I told her that I thought her comment was rude and yes, it's only 50 cents but it was more the principle behind it. She then said, well you can use it on your order but my daughters order was my order too and my other teen had her yelp app open and ready to use. I said never mind, because she had already checked us out but I asked her for the managers name. She gave it to me and told me he would be in the next day. In all my years of using check in offers, this has never happened and she really just had no clue what to do. But then, a lady and a gentlemen who were a few customers behind me, tried to use it as well and then a "discussion" ensues between the two and I step up and say, I had the same issue. I guess seeing that I was indeed not delusional or making things up she honored his and then refunded us. What irks me is, why did this other couples word get honored but I got the, "it's only 50 cents" comment? All three employees present were baffled by this check in offer and I even suggested that it might be a good idea to call Tyler, the manager but initially it was just "nope, I'm not going to honor it because I don't know what it is and I don't know how to do it." Do they not tell their employees how to do a 10% discount? Maybe not! So, if you ever see a check in offer at this location, call ahead first to make sure they know what it is and what to do. It might just be 50, 60 or 70 cents but principle and good business practices are worth that meager amount. Don't post it, if you don't want to honor it. This left a sour taste in my mouth and I won't likely return any time soon. I'll just have to check out that other Marble Slab place and see if they measure up. I'll be calling Tyler tomorrow and will post an update. That is all!

Freshly stirred ice cream -__- DISAPPOINTING

First and LAST time at this location. Let me start by saying I generally love Cold Stone. They have great ice cream and mix-in options, especially that new Sugar Cookie Dough flavor. My issue is not with the actual ice cream, but with the service. With the prices you pay for Cold Stone you expect to receive the same high quality service each time. I'm not sure if the staff at this location was not trained or if today they decided to play a game of who could make the biggest mess. The ice cream is supposed to be folded a couple of times to mix in the toppings, but not over worked, in order to keep the proper consistency. Instead of using two spatulas to fold my ice cream, each employee only had one spatula in hand with which they used to STIR the ice cream.... WHAT?!? I have never received ice cream that was stirred into a melted glob and slapped into a cup... until now. It wasn't just one employee that was doing this one handed soup stir, but both of them. By the time my ice cream got to me it had already started to melt. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the service I received today. I would still recommend Cold Stone ice cream to friends and family, but NOT this location. If you happen to be in the area and want good ice cream, do yourself a favor a visit Marble Slab Creamery instead and get your ice cream folded, not stirred.

Ice cream is good but i think it's dumb that they charge and extra 79 cents for each topping. I'll stick with store bought ice cream‍

Can't believe it took this long for these bakeries to make their way to Charlotte. I, for one, have given up waiting...and have been enjoying Tous Les Jours and Paris Baguette (and several other Korean bakeries) in other US cities for many years. Though unknown in these parts, Korean bakeries are huge in Asia, and metro cities around the world. Still, am glad it finally hit the Queen City...better later than never??? Somehow I was expecting a much bigger layout (like the one in Duluth!), but this one will do...as it has plenty of pastry-plus selection. To see their full selection, I suggest getting there earlier in the day...they go fast! Not only does this location carry a good selection puffy pastries, they also have a good deli selection. So I stocked up on a variety of pastries, as well as sandos to bring home. In addition to a few fruity pastries, we tried the Turkey & Avocado Baguette, Egg Salad Sandwich and Tuna Salad Sandwich...and they were all DEE-Lish! Just like all the pastries, all of their deli items are super-fresh...made in-house! I also tried their Iced Matcha Latte...and I found it a tad too sweet. Think I prefer Tous Les Jours' version of that. In any case, I'm an absolute Whore when it comes to puffy pastries, so am so glad we have these bakeries in town...at last!
