Standard Coldstone but the ice cream actually tastes fresh and not like it has been sitting there forever. This is my favorite Coldstone location in the Triangle because the other ones I've tried had ice cream that just tasted old. With the bogo coupons Coldstone sends out on a regular basis, it becomes worth it. read more

I love this location inside parkside commons! Coldstone makes really good icecreams so that's a known fact being a nationwide chain. This location is spectacular because of the staff. They are constantly busy but they will smile and help you taste and no matter the chaos from the customers they will give you the experience that says "icecream is happiness"They honor a local BOGO with GoPlaySave too so it's much easier on the pocket! Parking is fairly easy to find most days here. Shoutout to the staff Suman and Sophie! read more

Went to cold Stone creamery to satisfy my craving for a birthday cake milkshake. I was very disappointed when I went inside & was turned down BEFORE the store closed. The door stated 10pm closing & 930 closing for the holiday. read more

I visited the Cold Stone Creamery at Parkside Place in Cary on May 23, 2025, around 8:40 PM. After eating dinner at another restaurant nearby, we decided to stop by for some ice cream. I was excited to get the Oreo Birthday Cake flavor because I had good memories of it from the past. Unfortunately, the experience was not good. I ordered the Oreo Birthday Cake ice cream and added pecans and peanuts as toppings. But when I tasted it, the nuts tasted stale and old, like they might have gone bad. I told the staff, and they brought over a manager. She said there was nothing they could do about it, which was disappointing. I was concerned about the quality and safety of the toppings, but no one seemed to take it seriously. I paid for it but ended up throwing my ice cream away in the store and leaving. As we walked out, I noticed the staff whispering and laughing, which felt very rude and unprofessional. This visit was really disappointing, especially since I was looking forward to enjoying a treat I used to love. I hope the management looks into the quality of their ingredients and how the staff treats customers. read more

Great location and service was good! I felt pleased with the experience and I liked the outdoor area for seating.

My favorite one is the banana caramel. The staff are friendly and sometimes makes you feel you are near home, although I am totally a foreigner. read more

I went to this store with my 7yrs old daughter on Friday, July 11th around 7PM. Very poor maintenance. The staff didn't refill the paper napkins when they were finished. When asked, they plainly said they don't have any. And the tables to sit and eat on were left filthy without cleaning after previous customers finished eating. The staff left customers with cleaning the tables. No paper napkins to clean with even if customers only had to clean the tables to use them. Also one of the staff members I complained about these to, was rude that she didn't even care or listen to the matter. read more

Awful! And I did not have the energy to complain about my order after the wait that was endured for a kids cup and a one scoop. There was two teenagers working when I visited. The line was to the door. The place was in shambles. It looked like a hot mess. The workers did not greet you, barely spoke when taking your order, and were even ruder upon checking out. I ordered mocha and I am pretty sure i received chocolate. It had no coffee taste to it what so ever. The outside area where this is located is a nice green area with seating, but this cold stone was just awful. read more

The employees were extremely rude. No one greeted when we came in. There was no one behind the counter. An older man appeared to be training 2 younger kids & he completely ignored us when we came in. Once we finally got our ice cream my friend didn't like hers (he put too many chocolate chips) & she asked for a new one & he said he'd have to charge us again, even though she barely ate it. Then other customers came in & as one of the younger kids rang up a boys order, the older man yelled to him "make sure the card is approved". Yes we all are. read more

Easily done online, ready for picked up when I asked; EXCELLENT! My son was so happy and experience was easy! read more

Waited in line for about 45 minutes. Got to the front of the line and figured out why the wait was so long. A bunch of teenagers moving as slow as possible, gossiping about prom and other things, and showing each other texts while I watched my ice cream melting/dripping in the counter. Decent ice cream but atrocious customer service! Better ice cream elsewhere like Andia's or Handel's. Dint waster your time. read more

Another place where it is ran by children. Instead of having an actual manager. Last time I went by I asked for the "Gotta Have it" size and asked for a certain new flavor. I had to repeat it 5 times because the child behind the counter couldn't focus on his job. Instead focusing on giving out free ice cream to his friends. Both me and my girlfriend requested the "Gotta have it" size and we both got the smallest size. And he charged us for the gotta have it. I asked, "Why did you charge me for that size and I didn't receive it." I was told "I didn't charge you for that." I would have been able to show him, but I didn't get a receipt. I wanted a a manger, but there was not a single one on sight. In addition, benign the smallest size took them 20 min from the start of making it. Wouldn't suggest this location try the one in apex much better management! read more

Service with a smile Great location Clean place to entertain your friends Love the shops around it ... However there is a negative :( ... Not quite what I ordered but I went with it... Cold Stone Creamery - Yikes... Not quite what I ordered but I'll go with it... I ordered the Apple Pie A al mode and received the banana ice cream.. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Cary, North Carolina

The kids running this place are rude. I walked in and the girl behind the counter rolled her eyes and sighed, just bc she had to work. Disgusting behavior towards paying customers. We even saw one of the girls be rude to a kid. He was trying to walk out the door and she kept "cleaning" the door window so he couldn't leave. After a while she stopped and let him through, but began laughing about it with her co worker. She was clearly doing it on purpose. Too many ice cream places in the area to ever come back here read more

We have been loyal customers of Cold Stone for many years. In fact, we spent $300 in 2020 (seven kids) for this and the Apex store. We've had one bad experience, and it's negative enough to report. We received two ice cream pies for my youngest daughter's birthday. The crusts were rancid. The pies were inedible. I'm hoping the owner does the right thing, but it's not been a positive experience at all. read more

Great outdoor space! However, this rating is based solely on one visit out of several prior. I stopped in to treat myself to "Gotta Have It" after a personal achievement. When I was entering the store, there was a couple in front of me who stated twice to the staff that they never been to Cold Stones before. I remember my first experience and the staff explained the sections, sizes etc. even offered samples of the ice cream flavors but ohhh no not this location. All THREE employees working stared at the couple and looked annoyed that they were undecided. Once it was my turn, I made my own combination. I asked for a waffle bowl but for it to be separate because I was making another stop before going home. Nope they put the ice cream in the waffle bowl. When I said no can you do it separately they gave me to waffle bowl that had ice cream at the bottom so when I got home it was pretty soggy... yeah........ 'it's a no for me dog' read more

Very very slow. They fulfill online orders first, and you'll sit in a line for forever.

Very slick on charging. I asked for the cones on the side since I was doing a to go order. Even though I questioned the price he only said Cold Stone is expensive. It was only when I got in the car that I saw I was charged for the cones. Unacceptable. I will not patronize this location again. read more

I visited this weekend for a quick dessert. It took the staff five minutes to acknowledge me. I really wanted my cookie batter, so I was willing to overlook it. The young lady handed me my sundae without a lid & said, "here." She walked away to continue her conversation. The manager rang me up. I asked for a napkin, and he pointed to a plastic bin next to the register. I took a napkin as he watched me closely--then removed the bin. This was the weirdest Coldstone I've ever been to. I don't have a conclusive transition. I'm in my car with this lackluster cake batter ice cream trying to process what the hell I just experienced. read more

Was concerned about going to this store after the reviews but had to buy a pre-made cake. Was helping my child decide on which cake to buy as he does not like Oreo or products with natural flavoring or fruit flavored ice creams which have artificial flavors and dyes. Had to bring out each cake from the freezer case to read the ingredients lists and the freezer case door is closed each time before reading the ingredients labels. After a number of selections not being acceptable for purchase. An older employee, maybe manager or owner came up to me and mentioned that I needed to watch the temperature that it does not go up too high. Viewing the temperature on the display it listed 20 degrees as the temperature. I mentioned that I have not been leaving the door open and that I have been closing the door(s) each time. Season is as of this review wintertime and on a rainy cold evening. We left without purchasing from Cold Stingy Creamery but went to a grocery store nearby to buy a lot of ice cream quarts and cones without Oreo, natural flavoring, or fruit flavored ice creams which have artificial flavors and dyes. read more

This is hands down the worst cold stone I've ever been to. I'm going to start going to the one at Brier Creek even though this one is closer. The employees are always rude, but what's worse is they constantly mess up the orders and the mix ins are so scarce they may as well not be in the ice cream at all. Avoid! read more

I wasn't pleased with it. The cups have lids with 2 inch space.. those are supposed to get filled up with the ice-cream at least some of it. The company's picture show that in the pictures. They barely filled our cup 80% or so. not sure what is then the purpose of lids with had the cup space on top. The person didn't seem to be welcoming. We asked to try some, she let us, but the second trial was met with a unwelcoming expression - as though we had crossed their limit. We were getting 2 love it sizes. Picking out two flavors each. Given 5.89 for two scoops of ice-creams and no toppings (they didn't tell us if any were included) it too pricey without much service and top of it they ask to tipped as they require signature with a tip line. This doesn't deserve much more than 2 star review, sorry. read more

Good ice cream, consistent with other Cold Stones. This locations has a weird layout, with its back facing the marquis cul de sac of the shopping center and very little seating space. The staff isn't the friendliest around and they're a little slow, but In general it's predictable Cold Stone. read more

Stopped in with my family to get ice cream. I paid the cashier with cash and he placed my change on the counter. I kindly asked him to give me my change in my hand the way I gave it to him. Then I asked for a refund. Want be spending money here anymore. They need to train their staff! read more

This Cold Stone is the worst I have ever been in. The tables were not wiped off, the bathroom trash can was full, the employees do not wear gloves, there was a fly in the pan of ice cream and someone found a hair in theirs. There were flies everywhere and I did not see an employee wash their hands after touching money with their hands. This could explain why the sanitation rating was not even posted. Avoid this Cold Stone if you can! read more

If you want your order to be correct, do yourself a favor and go to a different location for cold stone. I could tell the store was understaffed because they only had two workers on the floor, who was cleaning something in the back. I came in and asked for ice cream in a cone bowl with chocolate chips on the side. The young lady - who I am assuming is in high school - had me repeat my order two times. Then she proceeded to put chocolate chips on the ice cream. What was the point of asking for it on the side? If I wanted EXTRA chocolate chips, I would have asked for extra. And she put the ice cream n a regular bowl and not a cone bowl. Long story short, if you want to enjoy your ice cream, don't go here. read more

I am a close one fan, but imagine standing in a line in a Sunday and only one person serving? Hence the 1 *.

The ice cream is great. Yet the service and efforts by the staff is horrible. Pay $6 or more for ice cream that is supposed to be mixed with the expectation of a full cup, right? The first and last time I've been here the kids serving ice cream seem chaotic and apparently do not want to be there. Mix ins are barely mixed and the amount of ice cream seems to be just the cup under whatever you've ordered. Come on Cold Stone find your service again. read more

Came here twice with my BF since we found it. He's a big fan of cold stone. We used to go to the one in Apex. But this is much closer to our house! Like if here! It is very clean. Horrible customer service. Due to the Corona virus they asked me to stand by the door to place my custom order. I read out exactly what I wanted from my phone. First of all- this location charges A LOT more then other cold stone locations. I normally pay $13 at most locations, this place charged me $19. Okay fine, each place picks their own prices, no problem but at least make my ice cream right! There was missing ingredients and was not mixed properly. I was super upset after what I found when I got home I decided to write a complaint( don't mess with my ice cream lol). I got a call the next day from the employee saying his manager told him he got a complaint and he was upset about what I said. Are you serious !?!?!? The whole conversation was about how he was upset and that he put the ingredients in there but maybe didn't mix properly but he did what he was supposed to. I kindly said one ingredient was missing. He denied and refused to rectify the situation. No sorry, no refund, no "let me make it right and re make it" nothing at all. He basically called me to tell me he was upset about my complaint. WTH kind of customer service is that. Never going to this location. I advise you to visit another location. read more
