It's a nice ice cream place. They have many flavors with toppings. You can choose ice cream with full mixed topping or you can create your own. Price is little bit higher than normal ice cream but it's fine for all fresh flavors and its size. The shop is kinda small. They only had few seats inside which means you probably need to eat it outside. Staffs was kinda slow and couldn't remember what we ordered. The shop was really busy with people waiting in long line and it took time to do payment too.

Walked in as they were closing and still served us. Tipped $1 and the workers busted out a "tip song".

I can't begin to tell you how amazing this place is but I'm going to try. I needed a cake in 3…read moredays, while advanced notice is Megan's preferred method, she pulled it off for me. We communicated via facebook messenger and then text. She responds quickly. There are no commercial hours but that wasn't a problem. When I was ready to come in a solidify my order Megan made herself available. The cake was just as beautiful as I could have possibly imagined. My daughters face lit up with joy when she saw it. As a mother I couldn't have been happier. The customized fruit was perfect and yummy. The star was the actual cake. When we cut into the cake initially it looked dry or the color was a little off to the whole family. However the cake was honestly the best we have ever had. Take it from the fat girl, that cake was the best I ever had. It was chocolate but not over powering and moist but still maintained texture in my mouth. It was the perfect amount of sweet. More often than not the combination of the cake and frosting is so overwhelmingly sweet that we end up scraping the majority of the frosting off and reserving a little to eat with the actual cake. In this case the frosting to cake ration was spot on. It was a thin coat of frosting but provided full coverage. Thank you for not using fondant. The sweetness of the cake was so mild that it paired amazingly with the fruit. Like pairing cheese with a fine wine. Meg's Silver Palate Cakery has gained yet another customer for life. Thank you again for pulling off such an amazing cake and in such a short time frame. I wish you all the best in your baking endeavors?

We did run into a possible issue, but i trusted that she would figure out how to work around it and still make a beautiful cake. It turned out absolutely beautiful and the milk chocolate cake was yummy and so fresh. Everyone couldnt stop talking about it.

I had high expectations of this restaurant and was disappointed. Service was mideocre, but the…read moreserver was pleasant. When we arrive no one was at the counter. We waited a few minutes then sat ourselves after gettingthe go ahead from a person in back. While waiting for service more people arrived and stood at the counter. They're orders were taken before mine and the person before me. It took about 20 minutes to get the daily special served. 20 minutes to get take out order. I ordered the pasta which I figured would be slightly spicy, because Cajun is in the name, but it was volcano spicy. Since I couldn't eat it,, I decided to order a sandwich from the menu but was told that I would have to go to the husband's restaurant. This meant I would have to leave my companion and my drink to go to another building. A runner to pickup the food would have been great! I was told that everything on the menu was spicy and the gumbo had a little kick to it. Knowing better, I settled for gumbo. It was salty, spicy and the rue was as thick as white gravy on biscuits. The only thing that was edible for me was the toasted French bread and sweet tea. I won't be back to give them a second chance because all their dishes are spicy. Being that spicy is the only option I feel that this is not a good place for seasoned and tasty food. And if you are "Creole" and looking for Creole taste, don't do what I did and base your expectations on "Creole" meals that your used to eating. The decor is beautiful. The restaurant is clean. The staff were slow but polite. Plenty of lighting.
