Gotta have it cake batter. Whipped cream curdling.
    Jeannae B.

This is not the Cold Stone I'm accustomed too. There's no greeting coming in the door. The atmosphere was cold, pun intended. The ice cream is super soft and the customer service is not the greatest. The 1st gotta have it he made was topped with whipped cream that was old because when he applied it to the ice cream it came out like water, runny. I told him that's no good, it's old. He proceeded to go in back and retrieve a new container of whipped cream. Once he returned he proceeded to put on top of the runny whipped cream. I told him I'm not eating that nor am I paying for it. He tossed it out and made a new one. I'm praying I don't get an upset stomach because the whipped cream he used looks like it's beginning to curdle. I'm going to save myself a night of misery and toss this ice cream in the trash. By the way, the cake batter doesn't taste like cake batter. I will not be retuning to this Cold Stone. Be Careful!

This was supposed to be the Ours size......?

Service is subpar and on last visit they did not have proper container which I feel shorted me the correct amount of ice cream and the mixins they should have put in was half the amount. I fought for years to have a cold stone back to Apple Valley but so far the business has not impressed me.

Scooped from the back so there's no cross contamination!

We came in with my 4yo wondering if we could get anything because he has a bad nut allergy. But they informed us that they can get the ice cream from containers in the back so there's no cross contamination. Great to know! Great service!! And a super happy 4yo!!

My ice cream tasted gray but the person working seem to hate their job. Customer service was non-existent at this location.

The Ice cream is delicious. I tried it for the first time. Now I know I can get good ice-cream closer to home.

Lidia recently made a specialty cake for a birthday party I coordinated for a couple friends. I…read morewanted the cake to look like their dogs. It came out so very cute and their whole family loved it. Lidia also made the cake red velvet, which is their favorite, and I must say it was crazy-crazy DELICIOUS!! So moist and flavorful, and the chocolate ganache filling was fantastic! I am a cake snob and very picky about the quality of good cakes. Sometimes they look good but the cake is terrible. This one was supreme! Everyone at the party loved it so much and we froze the leftovers to eat later. (No wasted cake!) I would highly recommend Lidia for any cakes you want done for your friends and family. She also delivered to 70 miles away (who does that?).

When I say that I used yelp to look at so many bakery's fondant work and that so many of them do wedding cakes and these bakeries pride themselves in their so-called "intricate" "highly requested bakery" "top bakery in the IE" you name it I called them all with plenty of time, like 3-4 weeks ahead, to see if they could make a cake with some fondant work, primarily a cowboy boot on top of the cake. I kid you not ALL of them could not do the boot because of this and that reason which is fine because it led me to Lydia but I could not believe that they could not do what I asked for like if what I requested was way too complicated. I was also told by some that they could only to be left a voicemail an hour later saying there baker could not do it. Then I had others saying they could do a boot topper. No, I specifically asked for an edible boot. Anyways, I found Lydia's yelp and Facebook and knew she was the one baker with talent that could do it and she did not disappoint. When I asked her if she could meet all the demands of my cake, she simply replied when did I need it by! I was so happy she was on board. My cake came out beautiful and it tasted amazing!! She also made me some cookies and I threw out some ideas of what I wanted and she said no problem she would follow the theme for the cookie design. Not only were the cookies so freaking adorable but were also the best sugar cookies I have ever tasted! She is so great at filling in the blanks and is spot on with detail. She is definitely my go-to baker for all of my future cakes because she can do it all. Thank you so much Lydia, you put all the other fancy shmancy bakeries to shame.

Abby and John the owners are absolutely amazing and practice inclusive and equitable practices. They're huge supporters of Autism Awareness which is extra special to my heart being a mama of a child with Autism. Their desserts are absolutely delicious and the quality hasn't slipped in the whole 12 years I've been a customer. Today I had the Peach Cobbler Cheesecake, Banana Pudding, and Caramel Pecan Cheesecake. Yes, I bought all 3 because they're that good. The Peach Cobbler Cheesecake bites is the best of both worlds. You get pieces of that creamy cheesecake that's not sweet with flaky buttery pieces of cobbler, and spiced peaches... A favorite of mine. The banana pudding is divine. It's a whipped banana pudding which I prefer over the custard with whip cream on top. It has crushed wafers in between and a balanced whipped and sweet treat. The caramel pecan cheesecake is a little on sweeter side but is still balanced with the cheesecake because the cheesecake is not overly sweet. If in the IE definitely consider trying them out!

I had the Strawberry Shortcake Sundae, much needed in that heat. The strawberries were fresh and the cake crumble was so moist, nobody wants dry cake. They also had great service, very friendly people.

Um...Yes!…read more With a theme like that, I had to try the apple whiskey ice cream while I was in Apple Valley. When did Apple Valley get hip? The cookies-and-cream scone made for a great breakfast, the owners were incredibly friendly, and they even sell used kids' books for 50 cents. If I lived nearby, I'd probably set up my laptop there for remote work and slowly make my way through the rest of the menu. Shoutout to 21st Amendment Creamery and Bakery.

It was really hard for me to choose what to get, but I went with coffee cake (after looking at other reviews), blueberry and cheese danish, cookies and cream scone and a carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese frosting. So far I've only eaten the coffee cake while I've been enjoying the outdoor seating area and the ambience and the coffee & coffee cake were enough to make me want to leave a solid review!! Everything is affordable and I can't remember the last time I truly felt that way in recent times. Come support this local business and feel the value of your dollar for yourself and your community. They have lots of board games inside and books for sale, some for only 50 cents! I can't wait to come back with my kids for their ice cream and check out one of their trivia nights.
