I haven't been to a BR in a while mainly due to covid but we came here because we were given a gift card. The ice cream is always so tasty. Due to covid there were tables set up between the ice cream and yourself and no area to sit down which is to be expected. The employees all wore masks and majority of the lobby area was clean except for the extremely dirty mask on one of the tables. We said something but they just left it there. My birthday cake was ordered 3 days before it was picked up. The cake was nothing like the photo, it was rushed and sloppy. The frosting was so bitter the cake is inedible. I contacted the corporate office via email and was told the message would be forwarded to the AV shop to contact me about this disaster. Nobody has contacted me. WATCH YOUR RECEIPT FOR OVERCHARGES. I asked for a medium size cup of marshmallow topping to go with my 2 prepacks. When I saw the girl had used a small cup, and only filled it half way, I told her I would need 2 of them. She didn't seem too thrilled about my asking for a 2nd one, and proceeded to overcharge me. I found her behavior quite rude. She rang up 3 toppings instead of the 2 small, half filled ones and asked me if I wanted a receipt. Luckily, I said yes, because if I had said no, I would have never noticed. I looked at my receipt, and pointed out the 3x charges, and she refused to give me a refund. Instead, she said she charged me for 3 on purpose because she had to put it in a cup and not on top of my ice cream. Of course, she never brought up anything about charging me 3x BEFOREHAND, and the Hesperia Baskin Robbins has never done such a thing. The topping is 99 cents. I'd like a refund of the amount I was overcharged. Since the small cups were only 1/2 way full, I should only be charged for 1 full one. This girl can't just purposely charge someone for 3 items, when they've only received 2. They have set prices. She can't just overcharge certain people because she wants to. I've never seen this kind of mentality before. I agree with the other Yelpers, if she doesn't like people, get a job working in front of a computer or something. I've contacted the corporate office over the overcharge since it wasn't an accident, she did it on purpose. And I'll be disputing the charge with my credit card company. Not a big fan of Baskin Robbins in general but they sent my son a coupon for a free scoop on his birthday and this was the location closest to Jess Ranch where he wanted to have dinner and see a movie. The service is great, she gave him two huge soops of Reeses Peanut Butter cup which he really enjoyed. They had a big selection and the store is clean, still to me it is some of the most artificially processed ice cream out there. Everyone loves ice cream! I am a PTA mom and they give me coupons for being in the PTA. It's a free single scoop and I get a few of them. I give them to my kids when they are being good. Any company that supports local schools and the PTA is a company that I am going to support. This location is easy to forget about because it is kind of blocked by the other stores. You need to kind of look for it. Stater Bros takes up a lot of the parking and when the karate school ends the place gets busy. They have super cute ice cream cakes and other deserts. I like to stop in and see what they have when I have a work birthday or a friends birthday and need something cute. The prices are actually really good for the quality of what you get. After paying for 5 single scoops of ice cream (3 in cups 2 in cones) to go my family and I walk out the front door and within 10 feet of the front door my sons ice cream scoop falls off his cone and onto the ground.
