Arrived at 5:04 to find it was shut. Super disappointing as I had travelled many hours to get there. New opening hours posted on the door. Another Grove Arcade shop told us that management were requesting stores be open til 6 but they in particular were closing early. Four days before installation I got an invoice that was 25% !!! more than anticipated because they said they forgot something on the original. Feeling over the barrel because of all the other teams scheduled around this installation (drywall, roof, etc), I was compelled to negotiate a compromise, but then the final bill was still more than we had agreed to. This time they threw my contractor under the bus. I can't remember the last time I had a less transparent experience with something that should have been so straight forward.

We are hoping this will be resolved soon, but it has put a tarnish on our overall experience. We will update this review with the outcome. As of 1/29/21, we went in-person to make the final payment and pick up our fireplace front. They had the wrong color, so we will wait another three weeks for them to correct this mistake.

Curious about the reason, I inquired and was told that one must be an existing customer. I explained my attempt to become a customer last year, which resulted in no call back on two separate occasions. In response, Christine raised her voice, asserting that their service people are too occupied with customers to spare time for non-customers, and that I should consider myself "fortunate for even receiving a call". Needless to say, Blossom Gas won't be gaining me as a customer ever. Also, now I know why the ranking on Google is so bad for this company!
