Staff was friendly, however the receptionist was a bit cold and could learn to smile more. The young woman who cut my hair was very friendly, did a good trim, didn't take off more than I asked. Only irk was that she used those thinning shears to thin out the bottom of my hair instead of fanning out the bottom and doing it with scissors like more experienced hairstylists would. The other customers there all seemed like regulars and had good relationship with their stylists. Their coffee is also really good. A great West-Island salon!

I had asked to have my hair completely colored but sadly when I reached home my husband noticed that it looked like only the roots were done, and not pulled through to have an even tone. It seemed like a clean salon until I sat down to get my haircut, the person asked me to sit at another station where there was so much hair on the floor. Thankfully, she came and swept it up. The ledge by the mirror had cut hair on it, and there was a hair brush that had visible hair in it. That was the same brush that was used in my hair. I noticed that they don't have a container to disinfect combs and brushes. **On a plus side, the stylist was friendly and I can't complain about the cut. Most high end salons are all about the experience: offer you a coffee/tea, water, give great hair massages when your hair gets shampooed and use great products so you feel like you have been treated with care. Essentially, I left an honest review of their bad service, and instead of acknowledging their mistake they blamed ME for my hair turning out badly, and posted a bunch of lies about how my appointment actually went (saying I came in for a red colour correction, when my hair was one tone of brown and didn't need to be corrected... I came in for a balayage....) Anyway, point being: I want my money back. The salon is closed right now so I will wait to call them, but I have sent them an email. I do like how my hair feels after they use it on me, but I'm scared what will happen if I use it myself on a regular basis, and it's just too expensive to experiment with.
