I contacted Rob because I heard he was doing a great job repairing/restoring Thiel speakers. Although I don't have any at this time I emailed him to ask what models he might recommend for my "unusual" space. He recommended the SCS4T's with a sub because I had multiple seating areas in a open high ceilinged loft space (not the typical rectangular listening room). Although I have not yet purchased the speakers I would recommend him because I like working with thoughtful and patient professionals. read more

Years ago, while at Thiel Audio, Rob Gillum provided a replacement for a blown CS6 tweeter, and excellent email 'hand-holding' allowing me to switch out the tweeter myself. Now, he provides the same exceptional help as Coherent Source Service. This time, a CS6 woofer needed repair. He helped me diagnose the issue, walked me through removing the woofer from the cabinet, and later, reinstalling it. Repair turnaround time was awesome -- I believe he had the woofer repaired the same day he received it. Packaging for the returned woofer was excellent. Payment was straightforward. I'm so glad Rob is this passionate about Thiel speakers; without his support, I expect I'd have to abandon mine. read more
