It was a bit crowded, but I had no problem getting into the different stalls to look at merchandise - the lines to pay were short. I loved the home decor products, plants, jewelry, and clothes, and I came home with some fun finds. They had a coffee truck and food trucks. Parking was free and close. I've always been skeptical of crystals, but after talking to a coworker about my experiences she recommended I look into a "black stone" she placed in the main corners of her apartment to ward off negative energy. I had plans to do some work in Del Mar at a coffee shop later that day and was telling my boyfriend that I wanted to get over my skepticism and give crystals a try, and therefore needed to look into some sort of shop that sells them - until I stumbled upon this shop kind of tucked away that I normally wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been so into understanding the whole crystal thing. It's funny because I'm also never in Del Mar and had just been talking about my nocturnal experiences that led me to considering crystals lol. Anyways, I decided to go in and I explained to Sibel and Laurie what I was experiencing, what my intentions were, and asked where to start, and they were so helpful and sweet and recommended black tourmaline (which I was told to hold each piece they had in my hands to decide what "feels" right) for the four corners of my room/under my pillow. I left with a chunk of the tourmaline and a small bloodstone, and everything was so reasonably priced and I had such a great experience that I will be coming back in the future :) wish me luck on my crystal journey!!

We also love supporting small businesses when we can, so this felt like the perfect stop. Right when we walked in, we noticed how clean, organized, and well-stocked the shop was. There's a ton to choose from, which could feel overwhelming, but the two women working behind the register immediately stepped in and made the whole experience easy and actually really fun. They took the time to understand what we were looking for -- something beginner-friendly that the girls could enjoy without it being too advanced. One of the boards the girls were drawn to was actually more high-performance, and instead of just selling it to us, they guided us to a better option. Honestly, they saved us money and probably saved us from a frustrating first experience. They walked us through how to properly size the boards, explained what to look for, and even set everything up at checkout -- attaching the leash and showing the girls how to use it. They also gave a few quick tips that made us feel way more confident heading to the beach. That kind of service is rare. We also picked up a rash guard for my husband (great quality, he loves it) and a cute little shell bracelet that was perfect for the beach vibe. Is it the absolute cheapest place you'll find a bodyboard? Probably not. But the quality, the guidance, and the customer service more than make up for it. I figured stuff happens and a couple ounces of wetsuit cement isn't a big deal. I purchased another can on 9/11/24. 4:55 P.M. Cashier:Kris Associate: Aaron. This can was also opened and about 3/4 empty. SurfRide in Solana Beach doesn't have this issue. The cans are always sealed and 100% full. Do better guys.
