And it is also playing with the meaning spisebar/spiselig, which is edible. The concept is straightforward, but it is also very narrow. They got two main dishes and a dessert for the week. One main with and one with out meat. For starters they got a lot of different charcuteri and cheeses. You can combine all the dishes as you like. The beaten track is 1-2 starters, a main, and dessert. You could also go the tapas way with a lot of starters and maybe a dessert. We were two, we went for four starters, a main, and we had to skip dessert, because we were full. Beverages are also very few, but selected with much care. 2-6 different aperitif, sour cocktails, bubbles, white wines, red wines, avecs, direstives, tap beer, bottled beer, and some soft drinks. They do all sorts of coffee. We tried comte cheese, chorizo sausage, duck rillette, and some beef for starters. All served with very nice light sourdow bread and different yummi toppings. Appel jam for the cheese, fennel mayo for the sausage, mustard for duck, and mayo with roasted nuts for the beef. Everything was a special and out of the ordernary. Next time we will do the tapas thing. We got hot dogs for the main dish. They were done with a delightful twist. Smoked tomato ketchup, a very good sausage, pickled Jerusalem artichokes, and mustard on a brioche. Wauv, it was good. You are seated at old school tables. They easy have room for two, but the also seat four a those tables. It is to much. Tables are also very close to each other. The also have very long table for bigger parties, or guests with out reservation. They play loud but good music, and around nine a DJ starts the party. The restaurant turns into a bar. The service was polite and very helpful. Maybe they are a bit understaffed, because waiting could be a bit long. They are nearly forgiven, because of the prices under normal for Copenhagen. The bathrooms are small, and they needed a bit cleaning. I have to deduct a star from the perfect five, because of waiting time, sitting very close, and the bathrooms.

The atmosphere here is quite the opposite of "terrorizing". You can choose between snug sofas in its own separate room or some few small tables in the "main room". They also have some tables outside. Candles and pillows give the place a feeling of almost as being in someone's home. Quite relaxing! There are many wines to be had at different prizes. When it comes to the selection itself, I am not experienced enough to say a lot about that. But all three glasses of wine that have been served me in this joint, were more than decent! And judging by the number of bottles that were seen on sight, they have a wide selection, so everyone should be able to find something they like. At varying prices. The other customers ranged from twenty-somethings to the more mature visitors. Terroiristen seems to suit all who has a fondness for wine! Which, by the way, can also be served with some olives, bread, etc. Friendly, smiling staff was only a plus! Terroiristen was visited with a bunch of merry Yelpers as part of this event: http://www.yelp.dk/biz/fyraftensdrink-terroiristen-københavn?hrid=lgIvzMxHDZkaS_XAHWDX2A#src:self

I must say the markets in Europe are world class when compared to the markets in the United States. Torvehallerne was bustling with customers ordering glasses of wine and plenty of pintxos. Pintxos means small snacks or tapas that come in a variety of delicious bites. There are always Patata bravas, diced potatoes served with a spicy red sauce and mayo, croquettes, shrimp with garlic, black olives mashed and served on toast. Now, you might ask why am I ordering tapas in Denmark? Good question! Well, I really wanted to try a Vegan hot dog, hot dogs are a Danish specialty. There were no vendors serving them here. Thus, I stuck to something that is second nature to me, tapas! This bar is cute and cozy, the menu has just the right amount of options and the beer is great! The service is simply amazing; two gentlemen running the show: the cook is from Milan and there is a server. Heres what I ordered: 1. Potata Bravas: hot, spicy with a side of mayo and red sauce. 2. Croquettes: served with a side of mayo 3. Shrimps in garlic: loads of garlic and red pepper, flavorful served with bread to dip 4. San Miguel beer ( small): San Miguel Beer refers to San Miguel Pale Pilsen, a Filipino pale lager and flagship beer of the San Miguel Brewery, loved the taste, ordered two. The atmosphere is lively and both cook and server worked hard to ensure meals were prepared well. When In Copenhagen be sure to check this market; you will not be disappointed! As they say in Denmark, spis, which is Mangia!
