Coffee Wizards is a true gem! It's worth the drive from Lubbock and definitely a worthwhile stop when passing through town. I was a little under the weather, so I ordered a hot lemon drop tea. It has real lemon, honey, and peppermint in it, so it was especially soothing to my throat. My husband says the white chocolate mocha is the best in all the land. The owner Jeff is a coffee aficionado. They roast their beans in house. They also have many specialty beans to buy from different regions of the world. Coffee is a newly discovered joy for me. So Jeff took some time to explain grinding and how to achieve a good espresso at home. He even recommended a suitable home grinder. The breakfast pies are also great. I usually get the bacon, potato, egg, and cheese. They have plenty of kid friendly menu items as well. Coffee Wizards is definitely worth the stop! I wish they had one in Lubbock. read more

It was our first time stopping at Coffee Wizards on a road trip and it was such a great experience! I ordered two iced lattes (vanilla and caramel) and loved that they made them half sweet just how I asked. We also got two breakfast pies and a plate of chicken salad with fruit. The chicken salad was honestly one of the best I've ever had. Everything tasted amazing and the prices were great. I even asked for extra crackers and they were so kind and friendly. I am so glad Apple Maps suggested this place as a breakfast stop along our cross country route. I got an iced white mocha latte (based on the reviews by that guy who says coffee wizards' white mochas are the best in the area) and my husband and I both tried the savory fried breakfast pies. Everything was delicious. I love that the owner continually recalibrates the espresso machine (I also read that in the above mentioned review), so that the quality stays high and the taste is smooth, not burnt. Believe me, it makes the biggest difference and most don't do it. The baristas were friendly. I loved the cozy atmosphere inside. Others may not agree, but I hope you guys will continue to play Christian music. As soon as we walked inside, I felt at home and at peace. read more

Stop and enjoy a good cup of coffee and conversation with Jay the Coffee ( WIZARD ) barista. You might also enjoy one of your favorite pastries with your choice of coffee drinks . I returned this morning for a carafe of their cold brew coffee which was delicious as in first rate A ok . Had a conversation with the owner ( wife ) who assured me they are making some renovations to the building as soon as this weekend, they will also be adding some decent outdoor signage so that the coffee early traveler can find the place , they plan on upgrading the variety of items offered and other that I will give them a five star rating. read more

We pass through Post about once a month on a ten hour drive, and it's our most anticipated stop because of this place. Their fried pies are the best I've had, and all of the coffee is really high quality. We were surprised on our last visit by how good the boba (bubble tea) was. Better than anything I've had in my hometown, and the actual bobas (if that's what you call them) were thin skinned with flavorful liquid that burst out when you ate them. Incredible. Where I'm from the bobas are a gummy, somewhat flavorless tapioca. These bobas were like something Willy Wonka would have concocted. "Bursting bobas", I hear they're called. The drink itself was delicious, anyway. I'll add that the people here are really nice and accommodating. If you are from Post or just passing through, you'd be foolish not to at least stop in for some fried pies, for later ;) read more

It was clean, well decorated, the staff was busy, but still patient enough to answer questions or give suggestions and most of all playful with jokes, good banter. Stopped here randomly when driving across Texas and was happily surprised! Their baked goods are of note. I had a lemon muffin that was excellent - moist and with sweet and lemony frosting. J&B Coffee was number one on my list, but this little coffee joint in Post has unseated the the big Lubbock dawg. Amazing White Chocolate Mocha and after talking to the owner, I understand why. He is constantly recalibrating the espresso machine to ensure the espresso is on point. This is a cute little coffee shop in a cute little town. The owner came and talked to us yesterday and she was very nice and welcoming. One neat thing about this shop is they have cinnamon rolls every Saturday morning that are homemade you can pre order and then they have more than just coffee. If you want boba tea or shaved ice you can come here too. Great place to stop for some coffee! read more
