Does she embody the perfect balance of sweetness from the brown sugar brewed into the espresso or strong willed like the robust coffee that punched through the cream? This beverage simultaneously satisfies my desire for a beverage that is tasty without drowning out the espresso flavor. Emma - whoever you are - thank you.

Then, as I pulled up, he thought it was appropriate to wait on me without washing his hands. Don't get me wrong, I like dogs, I don't like the germs of some strange dog all over my coffee cup. I think they need a visit from the health department. The owner, Emma, reached out to state that her employee sanitized his hands and then washed them. She also claims to have it on video camera. I find that unlikely, since he moved from the window and 20 seconds later was back. How thoroughly did tattoo guy wash his hands? But I want to be fair, Emma, so post the video, and if what you say is true, I will edit or remove my Yelp review.

Soft music played overhead and a fragrant candle burned in the corner. The foliage lined walls made me start thinking we walked into the wrong place. We were about to have an experience not a lunch; what we thought was going to be a simple stop, turned into a three course private meal (without a reservation!) if you count coffee. The Turkish coffee was so robust and flavorful, the croissant so fresh and buttery, the toast so perfectly seasoned, and the açaí bowl so brilliant in the basics. The food was a labor of love and diligence. For those looking for the quick fix, your spot is on the other side of the plaza (you know who you are). Come here when you want an experience. We were so impressed we decided to try a desert; be careful promising deserts to kids who eat all their food. The pistachio baklava did not disappoint. I am most impressed with Mikara's ability to do so many things so well. The menu was vast for such a small spot and the range of items we tasted tested that. The food tested so fresh and crafted with care. The cafe was a haven from the hustle and bustle outside and I -for one - am here for it.

The cart is cash-only, which is not a problem for grownups. I mention this in order to say that I thoroughly disdain morons like Jon B. and Mik A., not for being so poorly prepared for a day in the world that they arrive at the cart without cash in their pockets, but for taking shots at this business's Yelp rating, instead of apologizing for slowing down the line. I get that hospitals can be sad and scary places, and that as these people write, their reason may be momentarily swamped by emotion, but if they need to vent, they should consider shouting at God, instead of taking out their pain on the owners of a coffee cart.

My first visit was the double pandan latte and the chance's Vietnamese, I thought the chance's vietnamese was super good and the cold foam hit the spot. My next visit was the Pho' Cold Brew, I would have to say that this is up there as my top 5 places for cold brews. If you want to try something different, I suggest this one for sure. Plenty of seating indoor/outdoors, photo booth for photos (small fee), and pet friendly to the max. Service was quick and easy, super friendly and will make you want to return. This has to be my go to spot as of lately. Full review on my IG/TT page via Robonomnomreviews

The Pho Cold Brew, on the other hand, was a bit of a miss for me. It was definitely interesting and I could taste the coffee, but I can't say I loved it. It also didn't really hit on the caffeine side, though that might just be me building up a higher tolerance lately. What stood out more than the drinks was the vibe. They had a DJ playing music, which made it feel more like a hangout spot than just a coffee run. Another plus: very dog-friendly and clearly a pro-dog coffee shop. Overall, a decent place to chill and try some creative menu items. I've had stronger coffee elsewhere, but this place might be worth checking out if one's never been.
