It is located in Downtown Hickory so there are lots of things to do nearby. There is ample seating inside and outside and I found the service to be very friendly. The ambiance was rather quiet when I arrived on a Friday afternoon. I got the BEC and Fried Green Tomatoes. The BEC was filling! The biscuit was in the shape of a square so it was a bit bigger than usual breakfast biscuits. The bacon, egg, and cheese were not too salty together, but I think I would have liked it to taste a bit saltier. I liked the taste of the Fried Green Tomatoes, but they were lackluster in color... a bit pale and not crunchy, but the sauce it came with added more flavor for sure. Overall, I had higher expectations based on reviews but I would probably come back to try their other biscuits, particularly the chicken biscuits. I think I would rate it a 3.5/5 stars if I could.
