I think everyone will agree with me when I say that coffee shops are the perfect temporary workspace. It's always a refreshing idea to work with a nice cup of Joe plus a different kind of view. Top it off with decent Internet connection (admit it: some coffee places have better WIFI connection than your office) and you've got yourself a pretty swell day in the office.
The next time you're looking for a new coffee shop to frequent, try checking out Coffee Grounds in Cainta, Rizal. It's a quaint café that has a homier feel than the ones found in the Makati and Ortigas area. It has indoor and outdoor seating, but if you plan to stay and work for a few hours, the couches inside are perfect.
When I went here, I tried out their Nutella Coffee. It's a perfect replacement for the more mainstream Starbucks frappes and lattes. Apart from the fact that I looooooove Nutella, the café allows for another round on them! Sweet, right? They've got other types of coffee on hand as well so every caffeine-atic should have fun picking out their next drink. Coffee Grounds also has all-day brunch meals and I got to sample their Angus Tapa with rice. There wasn't anything remarkable about it but it's still pretty filling.
I usually frequent Coffee Grounds with two of my high school best pals and we almost always end up staying over until closing time, so this café isn't only great for working but for hanging out with buddies as well. But if you prefer some alone time, Coffee Grounds is also a nice place to chill out, preferably with a book in tow. read more
