It's a small Vietnamese cafe in an inside street in Marikina, marunong by a Vietnamese woman who has lived in the Philippines for over thirty years and is already fluent in Tagalog.
In one of my sojourns to Marikina, I asked my Mariqueño friend to recommend a good place to snack and he told me to try it here. It's relatively new, only a couple of months old.
We had a pho, a banh mi, fresh spring rolls, and iced coffee. he food was somewhere in the middle of authentic-good but not overwhelmingly spectacular, perhaps because we've tried other banh mi places and Pho Hoa is still my gold standard for pho in Manila.
The interior and ambience is quaint and relaxing. There is wifi too, so, it's a nice stop after a couple of hours of walking and exploring Marikina. read more
