I have never heard of Costa Coffee until my girlfriend recommended their branch in Eastwood to me as a place where we can study for our exams. After the end of my first visit, I was really surprised that few people frequent the place, considering the great experience I had throughout the afternoon.
The ambiance inside the cafe is remarkably comfortable. It is very ideal to be seated on the second floor of the Eastwood branch, where couches, armchairs, and large tables are present to accommodate those who want to relax, study, and/or hang out with friends. This, along with the color scheme of the establishment, makes this branch in my opinion one of the best places to relax in the entire city. While I have yet to visit the U.K., based from what I have seen in books, TV shows, and movies about the environment in cities such as London, visiting this coffee house makes me very excited when that opportunity to travel comes. If you are a fan of British culture, you will enjoy all the references to U.K. inside Costa Coffee. You can listen to your favorite songs from English artists, both old (i.e. the Beatles) and new (i.e. One Direction, Ed Sheeran).
Costa Coffee serves food and rinks that will definitely win over patrons of coffee houses. My girlfriend, who is a huge fan of coffee, loves its brand of cappucino. My favorite drink from Costa Coffee is its white chocolate, which is one of the best I have ever tasted. As someone fond of cheesecakes, I must say the cheesecakes in this branch are also quite delicious. The London cheesecake and the Oreo cookie cheesecake especially stand out for me.
If you are a fan of Starbucks, Bo's, or Coffee Bean and you have never been to Costa Coffee or if you are simply looking for a little taste of British ambiance, I recommend that you visit their branch in Eastwood. Good coffee, good desserts, and a relaxing environment makes it one of the perfect short getaways in an ever-busy metropolis. read more
