A yummy stop for our breakfast on a Saturday morning. Pleasant service. They were very busy but did not neglect us. Food came out of the kitchen quickly! read more

Simple American diner menu. They have these amazing giant Carmel nut cinnamon rolls. Get them early, because they will sell out! read more

Coffee Cup Cafe - Their amazing giant Carmel nut rolls! - Cafes Near Me - Hamilton, Montana

What a great homestyle meal we enjoyed here! Super sweet staff. But, the best was the homemade pies, especially the raspberry!!

Great little Hometown Diner. You want a good cup of coffee at a reasonable price served by nice local gals come here. Lots of comfort food choices, no salads out of a bag either. Home cooked food served in a homie little restaurant that's been around forever. Their breakfasts are good, real good so I would definitely recommend checking out the coffee cup. If you're looking for fancy, gourmet food look elsewhere. If you're looking for decent home cooked food at a reasonable price then come to the coffee cup. read more

The service here was not good and some servers were very rude. The feed was ok not that good though. They are not socially distant and not COVID safe read more

This place was a total miss for me. Nothing fresh on the menu; cheese was American and the ham was lunchmeat - not exactly what I had hoped for with my omelet. Our waitress was openly bothered by us not knowing exactly what we wanted when she came to take our order. The food was not very good; so all in all I am not interested in coming back. There must be a good breakfast somewhere in Hamilton?! read more

My grand son Robert decided to get the orange juice with his eggs, hash browns and bacon. He had a concern that the orange juice had black pepper like floaties in his drink. He asked for a new one and they brought back the same one! The eggs were cold and the hash browns were bland, the bacon was tasty though. The plates and silverware are always dirty. Wouldn't go back. -Greg read more

The coffee cup has the best breakfast and coffee in Hamilton. The breakfast special is always a good choice and the pricing is very reasonable. read more

Though the service wasn't exceptional, I would still go back. The food came out fast and tasted amazing. The coffee was fantastic and the price was good. Nice mom and pops kind of place...will return when I come through town again read more

This cafe has been around for decades and has managed to keep it's friendly staff and delicious homemade meals consistently good. The prices are moderate and dining area is very clean. If you're looking for simple home cooking served up with a smile, this is a safe bet! read more

Locally owned and operated with lots of local color. Breakfast is better than the chain restaurants in town.

Well, my review is mixed, the service is good, the food is great but wow the prices are crazy high. Im here visiting from San Diego, arguably one of the most expensive cities to live in, and the food in this diner is MORE expensive than it is there. Great service, really good food, awful prices. read more

Coffee Cup Cafe was OK. Nothing special. I had the Denver omelette. It came with a cold slice of American cheese on top and was chock full of green peppers. Oh, the typical restaurant tomatoes were present as well. The toast was cold. The hash browns were tasteless. The wait staff was also OK. But it's Hamilton, MT. Beggars can't be choosers. read more

The best hometown diner breakfast you can get in Western Montana. I have made it my mission to eat breakfast here at least once a week, if not more. The wait staff is courteous, friendly, and work hard to get you your food as quick as possible. They are usually pretty busy, but they never push you to make up your mind. You get exactly what you order and for a very fair price. My go-to meal is always their biscuits and gravy, the BEST I have ever had. I usually mix in a scrambled egg and cut up sausage patty and I am in nirvana. I have never had a bad meal, the pancakes, waffles, french toast, omelets, or their affordable daily specials. You can't go wrong. I have only eaten their once from lunch and it too was excellent. Never eaten dinner there but can't imagine it would be anything less than top shelf. Don't miss this gem of the Bitterroot when you are in town. I must admit, I am not a coffee drinker, so I can't give you my opinion on that, but the people I have always eaten with have never complained about it. read more

Great place!!! Excellent breakfast and all homestyle cooking:) I love the veggie omelet with homefries, however I have not eaten lunch or dinner here. I'd definitely choose this place for breakfast. read more

It started with the waitress being a complete jerk to us when we walked in, she sat us then we didn't see her for 30 minutes. On the day of my best friends wedding we have a schedule we need to keep and we left more than enough time for us to eat but we SAT for thirty minutes and just ended up walking out because no one would take our order. Not impressed. read more

Those employees were cranky and really didn't want to be there. Food was standard greasy spoon fare. First poor service we experienced in the area. read more

I've been going here since I was a child, and would never give it anything less. Cheryl has strived to make this place as family friendly, and comfortable as she can. If you want comfort food you can't get it better anywhere else. read more

Hey this is your place for some good home cooking. Really great sandwich selection, salad selection, dinner plates. The prices are reasonable, the staff has been nice (both times I went) and everything appears to be clean. I like this place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and plan to return. read more

Good ole homemade meal sure hits the spot when you've been traveling all day. Great selection for the kiddos too! Wait staff are polite and the place is clean. read more

Very average diner in a town with very good restaurants. Standard egg pancake and waffle dishes. My last trip there the two waitresses fought about who was going to wait on me on a somewhat busy morning. I left and haven't been back read more

My husband and I enjoy going here for breakfast. He always gets the cowboy scramble he says its the best. The staff is super friendly and always promp when we need a refill on our drinks. We love the decor: its old fashion fun with vintage toys everywhere read more

I got an omelette for fathers day. It was barely warm and the home fries were only half cooked. When they brought it out they told us our toast was on it's way. They brought the toast right out, it was so Cold it would not even Melt butter. I am not going back! read more

Worse experience I have ever had. Sat our party of 6 as the sign said in the only area we could find with big enough tables. Was told rudely by waitress that we needed to sit on the other side and walked away. She did not offer to go see if anything was open just demanded we move as she said the tables we sat at we're reserved for big parties. I would think a party of 6 would be considered a large group. Never the less we packed up the three kids and 3 adults and made our way through the packed restaurant just to find NO open table anywhere. So we turned around and trekked back through the packed restaurant with high chairs and all. Walked pass the rude waitress who's name was KELLY that told us to move and i said there are no open table can we please just go sit back where we were. She said I guess so. NOT SURE WHERE SHE EXPECTED US TO SIT?? we made the decision to walk out. She in a snotty voice told us to have a good day as we walked out. When we responded for her to try and have a good one too she then called us F'n B's. We had had enough at that point went back in to confront the situation as it was beyond enough to say it in front of our kids. When we asked her for the manager she told us she wasn't in and walked away. We proceeded to call her back to get information and yelling from across the room "I don't have time to deal with you". We will be making an in person visit to the manager. WILL NEVER GO BACK. we went to BJs and had EXCELLENT service. read more

Very tasty diner with daily specials for dinner. Their menu is huge! Make sure to leave room for the home made pie -- they always have a big selection. One of the very few places open past 8 pm in town. read more

Good place to go to breakfast in Hamilton. Wait staff was friendly. Food was good. Bigger than normal menu.

On a couple thousand-mile road trip, the place that stands out highly for quality food and outstanding home made pies, is the Coffee Cup Cafe. Their berry pies are incredible. This is a jewel in Montana. read more

Old time diner, great service, awesome food and fair prices. I love it! Antique pieces are unique. They even have an old phone booth that WORKS. Keep up the great work. I hope it never changes. read more

Just about the worst and rudest service I've ever had. I mean how hard is it for someone to be polite? We walked in looking for a booth to sit in and the waitress was cleaning a booth and when we asked if we could wait for a booth she turned to us and said " I don't care". Why be rude? What's the point? Your whole job and pay relies on you being polite to people. Do better and lose the unnecessary attitude. We ended up walking out and going to the Red Rooster down the street where they treat their customers with kindness and respect. read more

The coffee cup is an institution around this area. It is not fancy but the food is predictably good and served homestyle. Their soups are varied and always delicious. The staff is great. Their pancakes are delicious and don't forget to save room for one of the delicious pies and desserts in their pastry display. The prices are more than reasonable. read more

Awful. I wish I could give 0 stars. Anybody who rated this place positively must have never had food before. Crap food for high prices and crap service. read more

The service was GREAT! We (4 of us) absolutely loved the waitress, Rachel! She has a wonderful sense of humor, too. The food was wonderful (I had one of my favorites, eggs benedict; the eggs were cooked to perfection and there was plenty of Hollandaise sauce.) She refilled my diet Coke without having been asked, which I appreciated. We shared a huge cinnamon roll which was warm & yummy. The prices were very good for the amount & quality of food. I'll be sure to go back the next time I'm in the area! read more

I started coming to the Coffee Cup 15 years ago, not long after I moved here outa state. It really was a great place! We loved what they called the relish tray!! The ruben burger n fries was my fav, but we ALL found something that was amazing, n always some Pie to go. The last year or so has been terrible, bad service, bad food, and high prices. My husband and I went there again today hoping things had improved. It cost us $30.00 for the 2 of us to have breakfast, n it was terrible. The bisqit's were not edible, the gravy was just ok, the hashbrowns were raw. The only polite person in the place was the lady that took our drink order. We will not go back, and recommend that nobody else waste their time or money at this place read more

Decent place, fair prices. I'd suggest to avoid them on Sunday mornings as they get busy and overwhelmed. We ordered breakfast, waited 40 minutes - only to watch the confused waitress serve our order to the wrong table. We got up, paid for the coffee and then left. read more

I typically love this place. The servers are always sweet and easy going. The portions are large and the cost isn't too high. However the last time I went here (yesterday) I ordered a breakfast burrito. I would guess the burrito is frozen and then when one is ordered they put salsa on the top and zap it in the microwave. My burrito was sitting in a pool of juices. The tortilla was soggy and dripping. I think next time I will try something different when I'm passing through Hamilton. read more

I didn't expect much from this place, but I always feel that you can't really mess up breakfast so we gave it a try. First off, the waitress looked absolutely miserable. She was overwhelmed and she let it show. She literally rolled her eyes at us when we asked for help. The breakfast food was subpar. The waffles looked like toaster waffles and they didn't taste very good. The toast was barely toasted and came out about 10 minutes after our food. The coffee was barely drinkable. Bottom line: try another place, oh wait there aren't any; you're screwed. read more

This is a great diner. Breakfast is delicious and the rhubarb pie is literally the best pie I have ever in my life. The dinner menu is equaling pleasing. This is a typical diner menu but the food quality is far above the average diner. Unfortunately this isn't the type of establishment that appeals to the transplant millennials & hipsters that now proliferate MT and are apparently frequent Yelp! reviewers as well. This place has been around a very long time so in closing I would trust that simple fact over the empty opinions of unemployed 18 yr old wannabe food critics. read more

my grandma Alma and Aunt Peal would have coffee and toast every morning when I lived in Corvallis.

Great service. Warm servers and diner meals that hit the spot. We were visiting and for dinner I had the the turkey dinner late at night and it totally hit the spot. SO much so that we went back for breakfast and had the eggs Benedict. Great too. I would recommend it to those who love an old fashioned diner with good American food. read more

They have the BEST french toast I have EVER had-I mean the best! Still remember it from 2 years ago while visiting family..
