The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about this spot. There's plenty of space to sit and it's a great place to bring your laptop, get some work or studying done, and enjoy a coffee. My biggest complaint is the parking. It can be pretty difficult to find a spot, especially when they're busy, so I'd give yourself a little extra time for that. Other than the parking situation, I had a great experience. Good drinks, friendly service, a quick-moving line, and a really nice environment for studying or getting some work done. There are a few tables outside and some concrete stadium seating, but when it's 100+ degrees outside, ain't nobody got time for that! The matcha one was definitely my favorite. It had this interesting French-style flavor/profile and felt more unique. The ube one was just okay for me. And as a Filipino, I have to be honest: putting ube in something doesn't automatically make it amazing. I feel like sometimes ube gets treated as the magic ingredient when it's really about how well it's actually executed. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars. That's one complaint for those who might be allergic to oat milk or are lactose sensitive: There is barely any option to accommodate and for that I give three stars. I probably would not come back again nor recommend because of the lack of accommodation for those who cannot have oat/almond milk. However despite that it is good to try once.

Small in size as far as the cafe area goes, there's six tables and a few stools at a drink rail... but the bookstore part is much larger. We ordered up two americanos and asked for mugs (coffee just doesn't taste the same out of a paper or plastic cup). They have mugs but you have to ask (we were the only ones with mugs at the tables) and you can't take the mugs into the bookstore. Our coffees came up in a timely manner and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Having a lot of employees on the floor doesn't necessarily help if the workflow isn't organized, and that was definitely the impression I got during my visit. Between the underwhelming pastries and the chaotic service experience, this one was unfortunately a thumbs down for me.
