Coffee was good. Got the washed Peru in pour over…read more Writing this because of the weird interaction I had. Teach your baristas to put a little more care into explaining the coffees on bar and what's available on pour over. I wanted a single-origin coffee so I asked the barista taking my order. She said the espresso wasn't single origin but said they offer single origin pour overs but told me it would take 10-15 minutes. She then handed me a laminated sheet with all of their offerings and I chose the Mexico but she said that's what was on espresso....? I got confused because she told me there wasn't a single origin on espresso? Anyway.... the paper she handed me stated that a pour over will take 3-5 minutes, yet she told me 10-15 minutes twice. So I called the bluff. The place was empty. I ordered the pour over anyway, sat down, and sure enough, my coffee was ready in about 3-5 minutes. It almost seemed like she didn't want to make the pour over because she recommended an americano. Specialty coffee needs more transparency, more education, and more passion. If you're a coffee roaster, your staff should be excited to talk about the coffees they're serving--not discourage people from ordering them. I sensed laziness. If you see a customer struggling to pick a coffee, recommend something that's fruit forward or something that's more classic. Don't wait for the customer to ask, ask THEM what they like and work off the customer. Care a little bit more. This was my first and last impression. Vesta Coffee will be my go-to.

I was so pumped to see all of their new locations around the city. I ordered the Nitro cold brew with some vanilla syrup and the Big Bang Burrito. The coffee was fantastic. Crisp, refreshing, and just on the edge of that nitro bitterness, with the help of the vanilla syrup. The perfect coffee for a blazing hot day. For a coffee shop breakfast item, the big bang burrito was huge! Filled with eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, tater tots, and cheese. The crema sauce served with it was amazing and had a nice spicy kick. They have multiple tables inside, along with a couch in a smaller lounge corner. There are a few tables outside and some concrete stadium seating, but when it's 100+ degrees outside, ain't nobody got time for that! I love everything about this place and the few times I've met the owners, they've always been super friendly and engaging.

This weekend I suggested to yet another friend that was staying Downtown that we meet up for a a breakfast chat. Both of us ordered the Garden Farm Benedict at $15 a piece, and shared a Pear Danish, and I got a hot latte. The staff here are lovely and, although they were super busy, our gorgeous dishes hit the table quickly. The latte was strong and delicious as usual. Unfortunately, the pear in the danish wasn't poached or anything and seemed too hard for the danish. I think we were both expecting it to be poached or something - but that's on us. The Benedict's were a little bland, I got a hint of the brown butter hollandaise in one bite, but it seemed to disappear after that. They didn't over season, which I appreciate, and we could add salt and pepper (from their whimsical shaker collection, might I add) to our liking. The PublicUs sourdough it was all piled on was great. The roasted red bliss potatoes were perfect, crispy and salty on the outside, creamy on the inside - my favorite bite on the plate. I love PublicUs dearly, but I think I'll stick to the tried and true avocado toast next time which is always reliably incredible.

The parking has spots and you go one of the parking meters to prepay the minutes you are planning to stay in the area. This spot is cool! The whole vibe and energy is colorful and welcoming. There's so many places to sit wherever you choose to dine in or maybe work and study it's a solid place for that. All the drinks look and sounded delicious. There are video screens highlighting some of their popular options. We ended up ordering the Strawberry Puree Matcha and Ube Latte. Those drinks were next level good! We loved them both. Definitely as advertised. I also saw this pistachio chocolate croissant that I just had to try! I finished that thang easily and washed it down with the Ube Latte. I was happy and caffeinated early in the morning! Staff here was kind and consistently assisted with wiping down table and offering to take any plates when finished. Iwana is a really good spot for coffee, lattes and matcha around this part of Vegas. I would love to come back here again! I'm glad my wife found this awesome coffee shop it was AMAZING! I happened to find an open parking spot during the free weekday lunch parking period today and had enough time after brunch to stop in. The music and employees seemed easygoing and the various mostly lone patrons kept to themselves. I didn't see anything especially captivating on the March drinks of the month list or the latte menu, so I stuck to one of my default orders, the Nitro Cold Brew ($6.25 for the large 20 oz size). The barista pulled it quickly enough as it wasn't busy, and I took it along with me as I left. The nitro cold brew here is a very potent and smooth beverage. It's roasty, maybe a touch acidic, but not popping off with fruity notes like some other roasters seem to favor. Almost as importantly, they didn't put any ice in the cup, adding value and reducing dilution. If I'm out and about in the Arts District and want a nitro cold brew, I'll definitely keep Dig It! in mind. Even with other great coffee spots nearby, I would consider coming back here.
